"The beach is clean, 50 meters from the water. The constant sound of the sea is present. There's nothing there except the room and the sea, no shops or cafes. You need a car to get to the neighboring town. The owner is very friendly and nice. Unfortunately, we had the misfortune of having local neighbors who threw a party in the room next door, with 6-7 people drinking beer and partying all night until 6 a.m. Trying to ask them not to disturb our sleep resulted in aggression. We didn't feel safe, so we left after the first night. Overall, the hotel is excellent if you're lucky with your neighbors or if the owner keeps an eye on the guests."

"Customer service was excellent and the food was good. Only downside is the toilet block whenever flushed, even after maintenance came to clarify the issue it doesn't seem to solve the issue. Toilet floor trap doesn't have cover. Swimming pool was green due to algae and wasn't being maintained."

"There's like 17-20 chalets. Few steps away from your chalet, is the swimming pool. The pool is clean, have child section. Around the pool is lazy chair or beach chair you call it, while your kids are swimming, you can just sit back and relax. Few more steps, and it's the beach. Yes the beach isn't as lovely as tg aru or tg lipat, but for me, it's 8/10. There's lazy chairs as well for you to sit back and enjoy the seaview. Food wise, I just tried the buffet breakfast, it's a average, not much choice, but given the price of staying + free breakfast, it's worth it. Oh, the only noticeable downside for me is mosquito. My child got stung here and there, perhaps can install nets especially on the video above shower room. That window is open 24-7 for ventilation, but also allowed mosquitoes to just barge in. Not a big deal, just install net, done. And customers can just apply lemongrass lotion or spray the room."

"Just had the most incredible six nights at Borneo Eagle Resort, the service was just superb, the staff made our stay amazing, they could not do enough for us whether it was anticipating our needs or remembering exactly what we liked. It is a very remote resort but the benefits of that is that there are not thousands of tourists around and you get true relaxation and Tranquility. the food is ordered in advance and the chef was really accommodating to changes and menu tweaks, he managed to cook brilliant cuisine from every single continent! The villas were beautiful and the the trips were really good fun thanks to Shafiq. Kenneth at the bar was brilliant and so good with the kids and cocktails!! The Wi-Fi was horrific though so don’t plan on doing any work whilst you’re there, we never had it in the room at any time and only at the restaurant for short periods, Afnan the manager had to take us down the jetty and he let us use his own private phone at one point just to get a signal. They really tried to help whenever we had a problem with anything whether it was the Wi-Fi or the mosquitoes!! The main thing for the kids to do was the trips and playing in the pool which was so huge that they actually went paddle boarding in it every day. I highly recommend this resort if you want to be in a beautiful environment with incredible staff and fantastic food and get away from the crowds!!"
