Scenic Hotels in Scheveningen

"I couldn't check in because they couldn't find my booking and my name wasn't on their list. I've stayed at countless hotels, but this is the first time I've encountered such an issue. It took almost two hours to sort out, which was a huge waste of my time. Eventually, Trip.com found the hotel's internal booking number through an email the hotel sent me. Trip.com's handling was excellent; they upgraded me to a sea-view room and provided complimentary breakfast. Honestly, this wasn't Trip.com's fault, it was entirely the hotel's. The hotel gave me two drink vouchers and told me to wait in the restaurant, but after sitting there for ages, no one paid any attention to me. I showed them the vouchers, but no one asked what I wanted to drink. I asked for Wi-Fi and they gave me two long passwords, neither of which worked. The service was absolutely terrible. On the bright side, I did get to see a beautiful sunset from the room."

"The hotel has a beautiful location with great views, and the scenery was one of the highlights of my stay. It’s definitely a place where you can enjoy the surroundings and relax. However, there were a few issues that affected the overall experience. The heating system was inconsistent and didn’t always work properly, which made the room quite cold at times. The elevator was also unreliable, sometimes working and sometimes not, which was inconvenient. In addition, the Wi-Fi was very slow. Thankfully, the staff provided a portable heater, which helped us manage the cold. While the location is excellent, there are some areas that could be improved to make the stay more comfortable."

"Thanks, everything was great. It's a bit far from public transport, but there's a beach with seals nearby. The room was spacious, and the bed, mattress, and pillows were comfortable. The shower worked. Housekeeping was available on request. Most importantly, it was quiet."

"Like every time, this is just a good hotel with an excellent location. You can buy a day-card tram and you can get to the Hague. Parking next to the hotel in the garage."

"Fijn hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Locatie is top, direct aan het strand/boulevard van Scheveningen. Genoeg faciliteiten (zwembad/sauna) om je te vermaken in het hotel ook. Kamer goed op orde, had iets beter schoongemaakt kunnen zijn. Fijne bedden. Airco werkte niet echt goed, kamer was wat warm. Voldoende ruimte in de familiekamer voor 4 personen. Al met al een fijn verblijf en goed (duur) ontbijt."

"Prima grote schone kamer (eigen keuze), maar in de toilet nog een laatste papierrest niet doorgespoeld en een lange vrouwenhaar in de douchebak, iehhh! Bedden en kussens heerlijk! Ontbijt grandioos uitgebreid. Lokatie is dicht bij strand maar wel midden op een druk kruispunt, beetje ‘nouja-uitzicht’. Service receptie en restaurant super vriendelijk!"

"There is no elevator, please choose carefully for large luggage. There is no kettle in the room, but the coffee machine in the lobby provides hot water. Breakfast is ok. The hotel is just off the beach and it seems like 8 stops by car from the city centre. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes walk, and there are quite a few restaurants nearby. still alright."
