"The interior design is stunning, seamlessly blending modern luxury with local Georgian heritage. The rooms feature high ceilings, large windows with picture-perfect views of the Old Town, and incredibly comfortable beds with premium linens. Everything you need is provided—from a capsule coffee machine to plush bathrobes and high-quality amenities. Breakfast is a true gastronomic delight! The combination of a boutique buffet and an a la carte menu is fantastic. The eggs Benedict, freshly baked pastries, local cheeses, and excellent coffee made every morning special. The staff truly embodies Georgian hospitality combined with international standards. Everyone at the front desk was welcoming, attentive, and spoke perfect English. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The property fully delivers on the high standards of the IHG brand. We can’t wait to come back!"

Wide sea view, just as pictured. Floor 26, lift was always prompt. Parked at back of Orbit residence in a car park. Used Bolt taxis and scooters to get around Batumi. Scooters fun but taxis actually cheaper. Lots to see and do or you can relax by the sea front, lots of food places, shops, Grand Mall across the road from apartment. Brilliant price when comparing to UK prices. Apartment fully kitted out had everything you would need.

Kolokol4ikovFirst, the positives.
Very friendly staff.
Indoor and outdoor pools, spacious family room – everything was very good.
However, there were some nitpicks.
The hotel seemed a bit tired. I understand that can happen to anyone, but you still expect top-notch service from a reputable chain hotel. The sink in the room didn't drain properly; we only stayed one day, so we reported it to reception upon checkout. I can't comment on how quickly they fixed it. In the pool, you occasionally step on chipped tiles – not a big deal, but a nitpick. In the morning, you could hear pipes humming somewhere… Generally, if you're picky, you'll notice these kinds of little things everywhere.

Anonymous UserEverything was pretty average, but it's close to the sea and the customer service was good. The only downside is that there aren't many dining options nearby; you have to go closer to the beach for food.

Guest UserOverall, the room was quite spacious with a beautiful sea view and a huge bathroom. The panoramic view and the sauna with hammam are definite pros. On the downside, the air conditioning wasn't working, and one of the rooms had an unpleasant smell (like sewage).
Otherwise, everything we needed was in the room or brought to us upon request.
It definitely doesn't feel like a 5-star, but it earned a solid 3+ or 4-star rating.

Excellent location! This hotel is considered one of the top hotels in Batumi! There's a wide variety at breakfast. The room is very beautiful and spacious. There's a large pool next to the hotel, and the sea is just a couple of minutes' walk away. The service is very good, and the staff are polite and helpful.

땡돌이2We arrived at the Hotel General in Batui, which we had booked on Trip.com, by taxi, but the hotel was closed and locked. It was absurd. Fortunately, we contacted Trip.com and found a replacement hotel. The facilities and size were better than the hotel we had originally booked, but the bed was a double bed, so we thought it would be a bit uncomfortable for two healthy men, so we checked into a higher-level hotel with two beds. This was the first time this happened while traveling. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good. The staff was also friendly.
