GGuest UserFrom the first moment, i had such an excellent time at Blue Dove. I chose the place for the incredible design of the place, the location within Kazankh ancient town, and the reference to Doves... I left with so much more! The owner and her husband were so helpful and brought ice coffees for me and my dad when we arrived, which was so welcome. They had local treats and fruit to try and a wonderful sense of community. They helped us arrange a driver to Qionkushtai and packed us a breakfast to go, with coffee :) Every detail has been carefully considered and it was a joy to stay at Blue Dove. I consider owner Wen to be my friend and look forward to visiting again. I highly recommend!

GGuest UserGreat value for money! The environment is extraordinary, like entering a secret garden, and you will feel relaxed physically and mentally as soon as you move in. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The owner is warm and hospitable and helps plan travel routes. Having stayed in so many B&Bs, this one really stands out! Good location, close to surrounding attractions and food. The room is decorated in style and full of details, and you can see that a lot of thought has gone into it. The service is impeccable, the staff are always available and responsive. It was a very comfortable stay, highly recommended!

GGuest UserIt was my second time staying here, the place is beautiful and I met so many nice girls who I ended up hanging out with while I was in Yining. The Kazanqi area around the hostel is lovely, walking distance from great restaurants and shops. I was able to put things I the fridge and freezer and use the kitchen at the hostel. The courtyard and balcony are such nice places to sit and do work or eat there was also a puppy which was so cute!! The rooms were clean and comfortable, with cute decor and the toilet/shower room in the room is modern and clean. I definitely recommend!

LLilyDThe location is a little bit hidden in an alley, however I love how it is nestled among the local restaurants and houses, you get to see how the people live on the daily basis. Otherwise the room is clean, amenities are great too. If you are a light-sleeper, it can be a little bit noisy since it is located near houses. But overall, it is a great guesthouse if you would like a place near town as a base for your travel. The owner’s daugther though..despite my limited Mandarin, she went away and beyond to help me with literally everything from booking a bus, and communicating with a DiDi driver to mail my AirPod which I had left in the car at a different city!  She arranged for it to be sent to my next location which I had book prior, ensured that the postman gave the mail to me personally by phonecall. She is one of the sweetest person I have met during my solo travel to China.

GGuest UserYining is such a wonderful place, with amazing people and beautiful scenery. There's also a lot of delicious food. This hotel is right in the city center, very close to Liuxing Street, which is super convenient. The hotel itself is clean and has a great atmosphere. The staff are all incredibly enthusiastic, providing excellent and thoughtful service. They even helped me dry my clothes! The washing machine and dryer worked perfectly, so I had clean clothes to wear the very next day. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

GGuest UserI stayed for 8 nights and absolutely loved every moment of it. The room was really clean and comfortable. It had a lot of space (even for me to do yoga in the room), and it had a lot of sunlight. The amount of sunlight was really important for me because I was working for about half the time there and spent a lot of time in the room. The desk made it very convenient for working. Now for the much more important part - the host was amazing. I was sad to leave because we formed a bond in the short time that we were there. She took us to the local bazaars, treated us to local delicacies, and showed us so much generosity and warmth. The food at the guesthouse is also amazing. I had many meals there because I was busy working and found all the dishes to be delicious and the portions very generous. I would come back to Yining just for this. I would be lucky if I had the opportunity to stay here again.

AAnonymous UserThe hygiene is excellent, and the owner is very warm and friendly. This is my second time visiting Yining, and the people here are genuinely wonderful. The hotel has a washing machine for laundry, and the staff even provided laundry detergent and hangers. The location is easy to find, right at the intersection of the main road in Liuxing Street.

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is elegant and comfortable, and the transportation is convenient. I just happened to be on a business trip to Yining. When I entered the room, I saw two large beds of 1.5 to 2 meters. The main thing is that the house is clean and tidy. The mattress is a latex mattress, which is very rare. Some hotels use latex mattresses, which are extremely comfortable and improve your sleep quality. They also provide free airport drop-off service!

HHome in a backpackGreat hotel. There is an open space to chill in the evening. The girls on the reception were here helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator with no problem. Only 3 minute walk from great food street, where you can try traditional food. There is drinkable water next ro the reception. The location is right in the center 1km from the long bus terminal and 6km from the railway station. But from the left and right side of the hotel you can have a nice walk in the city. If you are from Europe there is a chance to not be able to connect to the WiFi. Just FYI.

GGuest UserIt is a good hostel. However, they have to take care of the daily validating room keys. People go out to the washroom in the middle of the night, and even if they paid for the following day, they get locked, and they can't get in. Regardless of how many days you pay for, you need to get your room key validated, which is a redundant and unnecessary thing to do.it is very frustrating, too. Last night, a girl from the dorm went to the washroom at 3 a.m., and she got locked out until morning when other people in the room woke up to get her in. Also, for these unfortunate circumstances, there is nobody in the reception area to take care of it. I stayed 6 nights, and every day, I had to reactivate the room key. That is something the hostel must pay attention to it or fix it. Otherwise, it is a clean please to stay at.
