"Affordable for backpackers. On the first floor, near the entrance, there's a coffee machine with a few tables and chairs – it used to be a small cafe. The reception/cashier is right after that. Facilities: 1. Wi-Fi on the 2nd floor. 2. Liquid soap is already in the dispenser; you just pump it. However, it's better to bring your own as this soap made my skin a bit dry. (It's in the bathroom; recommended to bring your own as not everyone's skin agrees with it). 3. Free coffee/tea + sugar. 4. Bread + chocolate jam on the 3rd floor if you're hungry at midnight, or you can have it for breakfast. 5. Prayer mat (sajadah) for Muslims on the 3rd floor; you can also pray there. 6. The room is on the 2nd floor. You have to take off your sandals/shoes and wear the hotel's. 7. You can rent a towel for Rp 5,000 if you forget to bring yours. 8. Locker. In the morning, there's a porridge seller in front of the hotel. It costs Rp 25,000 / $1.5, and it's tasty. It's only 300-500 meters to Alun-alun Bandung/Asia Africa."

Highly recommended for solo or duo travelers. The price is quite affordable, and the place is surprisingly clean, including the toilets, as they are frequently cleaned. There's a water dispenser, microwave, shared kitchen, a public rooftop area, paid massage chairs, a hairdryer, etc. There were a few leaks near the hallways leading to the rooms, but it wasn't too bothersome. The room wasn't as cramped as I expected. I'd recommend booking a double room, even if you're traveling alone, so it doesn't feel too small. The room is well-equipped with hangers, a desk, a mirror, a speaker, outlets, and more. The only downside is that if someone walks heavily on the floor above, it can be quite loud. The location is near shopping areas, like a mall, and it's not too far from other places either. By the way, you'll need to download an app to get a barcode to access the hotel's guest-only areas and your individual room. You can also control the lights from the app.

The receptionist is very nice people, the place is really near the station and if you love culinary and walking. This hotel really closed to Pasir Kaliki, Randujati and Sudirman and Cibadak Culinary Night. For breakfast you get pop mie and bread, you get hot tea or coffee which one you like it. And I'll be back to stay again in here for the next vacation in Bandung.

The hotel's location is strategic, close to everything. The service is great, and the security staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was decent and served quickly. The only downside is the limited parking space for cars, so you often have to park in parallel. Overall, the hotel is comfortable and enjoyable, and for under 400, it's definitely worth it. Recommended!

I stayed at Shakti Capsule Cihampelas in Bandung from May 11 to May 14, 2025. It was a great choice for my stay in the city. The location is excellent — right in the heart of Cihampelas, close to shops, food stalls, and attractions. I also rented a motorbike from RMB - Rental Motor Bandung, which made getting around even easier. The capsules were clean, cozy, and well-lit. I had a comfortable rest every night. The shared facilities, like the bathroom and common area, were always tidy. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout my stay. The hotel staff were friendly, responsive, and made check-in and check-out smooth. Overall, it’s a solid option for solo travelers or anyone looking for an affordable, no-frills place to stay in Bandung. I would stay here again!

Windowless room. It was very noisy in the room because there was a restaurant above us, and someone was already clanging dishes at 5 AM, and karaoke was blaring in the evening.

Ok. The room actually looks a little different than in the photos—more rundown and a bit old. There’s no problem with the AC or the hot water, and the bed is comfortable. However, there’s no noise isolation whatsoever. I had a room on the ground floor, and I could hear everything happening at the reception. At 5 a.m., someone just outside was vigorously sweeping the sidewalk or the parking lot. At 6 a.m., a girl started crying and making a fuss to her parents about something. Then the people at the reception started talking loudly (though they are very kind and friendly, I have to say). In short, it’s very hard to get good sleep. Oh, and there’s a window right above the door overlooking the corridor. Privacy can be easily breached; anyone could hold up a phone above the door and record what’s happening in the room.

It is a good location for sightseeing in Bandung city, as the Bandung Conference Memorial Hall and Asia-Africa Street are within a 5-minute walk. The room I stayed in was spacious and nice, but it didn't look like the room in the original photo and it seemed worse than that room. The advertisement photo shows the window on the left, but the window in the room I stayed in was on the right.
