Although the room isn't very spacious, it's incredibly comfortable with complete amenities. The water heater in the bathroom is a win.

Highly recommended for solo or duo travelers. The price is quite affordable, and the place is surprisingly clean, including the toilets, as they are frequently cleaned. There's a water dispenser, microwave, shared kitchen, a public rooftop area, paid massage chairs, a hairdryer, etc. There were a few leaks near the hallways leading to the rooms, but it wasn't too bothersome. The room wasn't as cramped as I expected. I'd recommend booking a double room, even if you're traveling alone, so it doesn't feel too small. The room is well-equipped with hangers, a desk, a mirror, a speaker, outlets, and more. The only downside is that if someone walks heavily on the floor above, it can be quite loud. The location is near shopping areas, like a mall, and it's not too far from other places either. By the way, you'll need to download an app to get a barcode to access the hotel's guest-only areas and your individual room. You can also control the lights from the app.

Good location, near market, closed to chinatown, also paskal square shopping mall, even train or woosh station ... Walking distance to sudirman street (culinairy area) and cibadak street food, both during the night ... Half a mile away, there're famous braga street and asia africa converence summit museum ... The room itself very clean, tidy and comfort ... High quality of bed, linen, towels ... Just no kettle/coffee and tea maker in the room, but their staffs gladly help to serve you in the room, by request ...

I stayed at Shakti Capsule Cihampelas in Bandung from May 11 to May 14, 2025. It was a great choice for my stay in the city. The location is excellent — right in the heart of Cihampelas, close to shops, food stalls, and attractions. I also rented a motorbike from RMB - Rental Motor Bandung, which made getting around even easier. The capsules were clean, cozy, and well-lit. I had a comfortable rest every night. The shared facilities, like the bathroom and common area, were always tidy. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout my stay. The hotel staff were friendly, responsive, and made check-in and check-out smooth. Overall, it’s a solid option for solo travelers or anyone looking for an affordable, no-frills place to stay in Bandung. I would stay here again!

Windowless room. It was very noisy in the room because there was a restaurant above us, and someone was already clanging dishes at 5 AM, and karaoke was blaring in the evening.

Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly helpful, the room was fragrant and clean, and the location was super strategic, close to a shopping center.

Many of the services do not work

Ok. The room actually looks a little different than in the photos—more rundown and a bit old. There’s no problem with the AC or the hot water, and the bed is comfortable. However, there’s no noise isolation whatsoever. I had a room on the ground floor, and I could hear everything happening at the reception. At 5 a.m., someone just outside was vigorously sweeping the sidewalk or the parking lot. At 6 a.m., a girl started crying and making a fuss to her parents about something. Then the people at the reception started talking loudly (though they are very kind and friendly, I have to say). In short, it’s very hard to get good sleep. Oh, and there’s a window right above the door overlooking the corridor. Privacy can be easily breached; anyone could hold up a phone above the door and record what’s happening in the room.

It is a good location for sightseeing in Bandung city, as the Bandung Conference Memorial Hall and Asia-Africa Street are within a 5-minute walk. The room I stayed in was spacious and nice, but it didn't look like the room in the original photo and it seemed worse than that room. The advertisement photo shows the window on the left, but the window in the room I stayed in was on the right.
