This place is a hidden gem. It is very tastefully and newly renovated, very clean, and I can’t say enough about how kind and accommodating all of the staff was. It’s just a few blocks from the beach, with many restaurants in walking distance. 5 stars! Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again. Thank you for making our trip so wonderful!

Not often you find a little gem like Barefoot Bay. The resort was in a great location next to the marina, beach and restaurants. The hosts were lovely and super efficient providing a great service and local knowledge of where to eat and visit. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a good selection of free coffees and teas, with a microwave and toaster. We would definitely stay here again. Many thanks to Stacey and the staff for making our stay a pleasure.

1. The location is very good, a minute walk across the street is the beach. And there are everything in the restaurants and shops around, remember that the crab mushrooms and shrimps in a coco bar & restaurant next to it are so delicious! 2. Clean and hygienic, the house is very new, the hotel is small and small, the bedding is very comfortable, the swimming pool and some are very good. 3. The lack of facilities is that there is no elevator. It is really inconvenient to take a suitcase on the second floor. The staff did not say to help you take it up. 4. Service attitude is polite and generous, but you can't talk about how enthusiastic you want. Overall, this location and the overall comfort of this hotel are still good at this price.

The afternoon we checked in, I discovered a ”wad” of hair (human) in the desk chair; it looked like someone had cut off a ponytail and left it there....where was Housekeeping? Then the next day I woke up with what I thought were mosquito bites. It turns out that the prior people using the room had a dog (or dogs?) and the room was never sanitized so I ended up with flea bites. Big deal...they comped us one of the 2 nights we stayed there. DON'T EVER STAY HERE IF THIS IS THEIR IDEA OF HOUSEKEEPING.

When I booked Pelican Pointe hotel, I knew it was an older property so I wasn't expecting anything grand, plus the price was super affordable! When we first arrived, the room was very spacious for my family of 5. It was like a semi suite, kitchen was separated from the beds but not closed off. It had 2 doubles and a futon fold out in the kitchen/dining area. It was clean but had a funky smell, having a small well stocked kitchen with fridge and microwave was useful. At first glance it was nice, the location is amazing, right across the street from Clearwater Beach and complimentary parking which is a bonus (I hate having to pay extra for parking, so that was really great considering the price). I thought we really scored with this find, until.....my son saw a gigantic bug in the bathroom, it turned out to be a cockroach!!! EEEEWWWWW!!!! Throughout our stay we saw a few more big roaches and a ton of baby roaches everywhere. We were scared to turn off the lights because as soon as you did, the roaches came out to play, really gross and a major turn-off!!!! We slept with the lights on needless to say. We didn't bother to say anything because if there are roaches in this room, chances are the entire hotel has it! If it wasn't for the roaches, I would definitely recommend this hotel but I would never go back after seeing those nasty bugs. The hotel needs to fumigate and get rid of those roaches!!!!

Beautiful boutique hotel! Very vibrant. Location was great with easy access to everything you need. Restaurants, shops, breweries, coffee shops etc.. parking on the street and side streets if needed. Easy to access scooters. We had a quiet room in the hotel. There is a bar/club downstairs so just be aware of that. Very LGBTQ friendly. The pool was beautiful. Staff was very nice.

The Clearwater Beach Hotel is a quaint hotel 1 block away from the velvety sandy Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. There are numerous places to eat and an hand dipped ice cream shop right across from the hotel! Our room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the front desk staff was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be staying there again!

Good experience for a two night stay in a very convenient location. Decent room that appeared clean and had good amenities. Good check-in experience and good customer service from the manager on duty that evening. I asked for additional hangers as we had excess clothing to hang up and she brought shampoo to the room as our room did not have any. In all, it was good value for the type of hotel it is. Only negative: their ”breakfast” was coffee and juice (!).

 wonderful place to stay, breakfast is great and pleasant to sleep in a comfort bed.
