The B&B is located at the highest point of the mountain. It happened to rain during the two days of the trip. The hotel is in central location, walking distance to the old part of town and surrounded by food options. All rooms face a busy intersection with traffic and commerce noise starting early in the morning until 10pm. Windows will block part of noise but not all. Gym is just a pair of treadmills, don't expect a workout space. Staff is very attentive and willing to help. Beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and the shower is good. However, if you are not a smoker, I don't recommend staying here, nor in any other Ji hotel. I travel extensively and tried Ji hotels in several Chinese cities from North to South. They are consistent with service, cleanliness and bed comfort, but all of them have a major issue of not enforcing the non smoking rule, and besides that, their air conditioner system brings smokey air from different rooms directly into yours. It is a pity. Unfortunately, beautiful China is full of selfish smokers. We need better enforcement and at least air purifiers in each room.

I booked this guesthouse last year, but couldn't go for some reason. Finally, I got to go this year! From Lishui Station, it's less than a ten-minute walk to the Yunhe Rice Terraces Visitor Center. The moment I entered the courtyard, I could tell it was thoughtfully designed; the layout was perfect, and the cleanliness made it very comfortable. The guesthouse owners were incredibly welcoming. They escorted the three of us to our room. I was a little confused about the Yunhe Rice Terraces travel guide, and the owner explained everything in detail, even contacting the attractions to let us know if we had any questions. At noon, they even took us to the restaurant and told us we could contact them if we had any problems at the attractions that afternoon. They were so kind! Because of the number of people, we changed rooms. The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of sunlight. The owner's noodles were delicious; I especially loved the texture of the eggs—I couldn't get enough! Every day I had a big bowl with side dishes, and I felt so satisfied before going out to play! The guesthouse also paid great attention to detail; the spotlights at the bottom of the stairs were sensor-activated, so the elderly wouldn't have trouble seeing the stairs. The mirror-like terraced fields are beautiful now, but you have to go early; once the sunlight is too strong, they're not as stunning. I'll definitely come back in the fall!

I went to Songyang with my dog ​​and stayed at Yunshang Pingtian. It was a very good experience. The housekeeper was very enthusiastic and nice. He helped us upgrade to a suite. I liked it very much. The most direct impact was that I decided to stay one more night on the spur of the moment and experienced the loft upstairs and downstairs. The location of the B&B is very good. I heard that it is the earliest B&B. It is not in the scenic area, the mountain road is easier to drive, parking is convenient, the layout is very literary, the environment is very quiet, suitable for slow life! The breakfast is very good, especially the corn and sweet potatoes, it is so delicious! It is not as far as Songzhuang Village, and it is not as congested as Chenjiapu Village and Yangjiatang Village. But it is very close to Chenjiapu Village, and it is only a 20-minute drive to the old town. It is very pet-friendly. You can go to the restaurant and Grandpa's coffee shop with us. The scenery and atmosphere are fantastic, and the octagonal pavilion is over a hundred years old. This was an ancient post station; choosing to stay here in Longquan is definitely worthwhile.
