"Hello, I would like to thank all the hotel staff for their kindness, their professionalism, their understanding, in particular the responder and the manager himself. It was stated that pets are allowed although this is not the case. Despite everything, the people in charge allowed me to keep my animal otherwise I would be on the street after more than 5 hours of driving. Thank you to Trip.com for kindly correcting the information transmitted to the hotel so that other customers do not experience unpleasant situations as could have been the case for me if the staff had not had this humanist background and understanding. J’ai passé un excellent séjour à l’Hôtel Suisse à Alger. L’accueil a été remarquable dès mon arrivée, notamment grâce à la réceptionniste Célia, dont le professionnalisme et la gentillesse font toute la différence. Toujours souriante, attentive et disponible, elle a su répondre à toutes mes demandes avec efficacité et bienveillance. Grâce à elle, je me suis senti immédiatement à l’aise et parfaitement pris en charge. L’hôtel est confortable, propre et idéalement situé, mais c’est vraiment la qualité de l’accueil, en particulier celui de Célia, qui rend l’expérience exceptionnelle. Je recommande vivement cet établissement !

MMonique KortoefWe have been to the City hotel three times now and we love to stay there. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful and want to give you the best experience. It’s located at a perfect place. Close to a square, stores and the metro. I recommend this hotel if you want a pleasant stay in Algiers in a nice and comfortable hotel.

MMarty the MetalheadStayed here for 3 nights. Unfortunately hopper messed around with my friends booking. So he couldn’t stay with me. No fault to the hotel.
The breakfast was lovely but would prefer more Arab breakfast than French.
Roof top was a cool place.

GGuest UserGot lift. Breakfast is okay. Wifi very slow. Shower hot water all time. Toilet bowl cannot flush properly and cover not working. Shower door got gap so water flows out and flood the floor because shower level is higher..

GGuest UserI loved Hotel Hydra. The purpose of my visit was to see my granddaughter and daughter in law.
The room was spacious and well appointed.
Only minor points could be improved- bath plug didn’t fit, light bulb out. I didn’t report this though. I felt safe and staff were gracious and kind.
If I visited Algiers again I would definitely stay there.
