"I was generally satisfied and would like to use it again, but there were a few things that bothered me. ◆About the hot springs It was great that the men's and women's baths were alternated and different types of hot springs could be enjoyed depending on the time of day. Points of concern: The hot springs and open-air baths are quite open, and it seems like you can see them from outside. You can see the bridge from the bath, but you can see the faces of people walking by, so I felt that the baths could be seen from the bridge side. ◆About cleanliness Basically, it is well cleaned and there is no problem spending time there. However, I was concerned about the fact that there were a lot of dead insects in the container that covers the light bulb of the room (the dead insects had accumulated on the ceiling light, and black dots were visible). ◆Access was very good and I was satisfied. All major tourist spots and stations are within walking distance."

"Had such an amazing experience staying at Shelter Garden Nikko. From the beginning ( booking of the free shuttle service) to the entire experience, feels very pampered and well taken care of. My mom was in a wheelchair and they are ready to help my mum wherever possible. The designer of the hotel was also around during dinner time and he took the time to speak with each table explaining his design his inspiration and also shared some photos he took around the hotel. Overall very very happy with the stay. Definitely will return for another stay next time!"

"We had a great stay with Yoshiko-san. She was warm and friendly and gave us great tips and recommendations. The house is very conveniently located near the major temples, Kanmangafuchi abyss, and the bus route. The house was also very comfortable, a taste of real Japanese living!"
