"A private and beautiful hotel outside the Medina, Hotel Sahrai is a good choice for travellers looking to reside outside the hustle and bustle of the old city. The amenities provided were top class though the breakfast selection and dinner quality could be improved upon. The hotel sits on top of a hill and the rooftop provides a beautiful view of the old medina and Jewish quarters. This is a good choice if you have a lot of luggage as cars are not allowed to drop you in Riads inside the Medina."

"The best Riad in the old town of Fes is definitely this one! The public area is so beautiful, it's like living in a palace, definitely worth the experience! The only downside is that the classic and deluxe rooms are too small, and the soundproofing is very poor, maybe this is a common problem for Riads? The location is first-rate, you can walk around the old town as soon as you leave the hotel, highly recommended."
