"This is, so far, the coolest hotel we've stayed at in Istanbul. It's newly renovated, very stylish, yet still cozy. The overall atmosphere in the hotel is pleasant and very friendly. You truly feel like a welcomed guest.
The gym was a great bonus. It was clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and it had everything needed for a full workout (to classical music, excellent!). The spa area seems to still be under development; we went to check it out in the evening. Everything was freely accessible, but only the Finnish sauna was fully functional. The hammam was barely warm, and the shower wasn't set up yet, so we didn't use the pool. There are massage rooms available; you can get a massage if you wish, though we didn't inquire about the cost.
The breakfast was wonderful. The setting was pleasant, and everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. A truly elegant buffet.
Room (#303): Very spacious, functionally well-designed, and with comfortable beds. Clean and beautiful!
However!
1) It was very noisy from the street. The windows didn't block out any sound at all. I had to sleep with headphones on... yes, we went to bed early because we were tired. But it was noisy at 9 PM, 12 AM, 2 AM, and 5 AM)))...
2) The beds are great, but the linen smelled strongly of fabric softener, which had a very (for me) intrusive scent. (And the towels in the gym also smelled strongly of fabric softener... in my opinion, linen should just smell like fresh linen, that's all).
So, I couldn't get a full night's sleep...
3) The toilet cistern (in our room) – you had to make sure the water stopped running by pressing the flush button several times, otherwise, it would run endlessly.
Basically, if these three points were addressed, this would be an absolutely perfect hotel! I will definitely continue to stay here, but I'll need to choose a room with a different location, not one facing the noisy street."
