GGuest UserNot really a youth hostel but someone's high rise flat filled with beds on 7th floor. Excellent location near to railway station but difficult to find on the map and you need to ring the owner who doesn't speak English. I've added the photo of the entrance doorway and amended map but you still need to ring the owner to get access. Cramped, only one bathroom for a lot of people, but kitchen with kettle and living area, good budget accommodation for a night, I wouldn't stay here longer.

And pleasant, she speaks English too , she let us check in early and made all arrangements to make our stay comfortable, the rooms are big, well ventilated and opens to beautiful view of the lake. Rooms are well kept and hygienic. The location is ideal for exploring the ethnic village and other tourist attractions. We highly recommend this hotel, we would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserI stayed for two nights here in a four bed women dormitory. It is simple and you have all the services that you need : a kitchen, a washing machine, little food shops at the building's entrance and it's not far from the railway station.
Also, hosts are wonderful !! They prepared a meal in the evening. We visited town together : they brought me to Kunming lake, street snacks, food market in the morning and a nice park. All that for free !! I highly recommend this homestay. Simple, not expensive and warm up. 😊🙌

MM431666****Our last stop on this trip was Qiao An Yue Hotel, and since I was traveling with my parents, I booked a family room. The owner was incredibly nice and even upgraded us to two large beds for free. The main reason I chose this place was its excellent location – a bus stop and subway station right downstairs, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Plus, there are tons of food options nearby! Hot water was available all day, and the place was clean and tidy. The owner was also very kind and diligent, always quick to resolve any issues guests had. The best part is that for such a central location, the price was really affordable. I'll definitely choose Qiao An Yue Hotel again next time I'm in Kunming, and I wish the owner even more success!

AAnonymous UserThe double-bubble pool is almost nowhere near the toilet, which is a bit uncomfortable. In fact, it doesn't matter if this toilet is not used, and the toilet next to it can be used. The advantage is that the water is unlimited and the water flow is also very strong. It is still okay to come here just to soak in the hot spring. If you have requirements for the environment, you should consider it carefully.

GGuest UserThis hostel is really great and the boss is good. I highly recommend everyone especially foreigners to make contact with the boss prior to arriving so you don’t get lost like me🤣🤣. I called the boss via trip.com app, and he replied to me straight away. He is very good at responding and quickly helped me. The hostel is thoroughly cleaned and has a kitchen. The location is great. The boss also recommended me some places I can visit in Kunming.

The service at the front desk is also very good and the guests are friendly. I like the service in the guest room very much. The hygiene is really good and there is nothing to complain about. In terms of the environment, it is very, very, very clean. There are volunteers cleaning every day. The boss said that the volunteers are very good in all aspects. Clean carefully. The bathroom is also very clean, white and bright with no peculiar smell! The roommates I met are all very friendly and quality people! When I traveled to Kunming this time, I felt a lot of goodwill and enthusiasm, and I ate a lot of delicious food. I want to cry when I think about leaving here and going back to a food desert. It’s so comfortable that I don’t even want to leave here! Thank you very much to the boss for giving me a particularly good experience of staying in a hostel! I’ll come back next time!

Excellent location, right next door to the railway station, plus double room (shared bathroom) for the same price as the bunk beds in that same region. The bathrooms aren't exactly clean, and they were knocking on my door 3 minutes past check out time, but it was good in general
