Istanbul Beach Hotels

My stay here was absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel boasts an excellent location right on the Bosphorus, sharing the same side of the strait with properties like the Four Seasons and The Peninsula, with the Asian side directly across. You're treated to stunning views of the strait from your room, the restaurant, and the pool, especially beautiful during sunset. A truly unique feature of this hotel is that it houses an actual Ottoman palace. During your stay, simply inform the front desk or concierge, and a staff member will give you a guided tour of the palace, detailing its history and architecture. It's a truly worthwhile experience and a distinctive charm that's hard to find in other hotels. The service at the hotel is also outstanding. We frequently used the in-room dining service, and the staff would bring the dining cart directly into our room and meticulously set up the table, creating a very ceremonial experience. Whether it was room service, restaurant service, or concierge assistance, the staff were consistently professional, warm, and attentive, delivering the kind of service you'd expect from a true five-star hotel. The hotel's dining options were equally impressive. The breakfast restaurant faces the Bosphorus, with a large green lawn stretching out front. Sitting outdoors, enjoying breakfast while admiring the sea view, creates a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We also tried the hotel's Turkish-themed dinner, which featured excellent dishes and exquisite presentation. Both the taste and the dining environment were thoroughly satisfying. If you're visiting Istanbul and want to experience the most iconic Bosphorus views, the historical ambiance of an Ottoman palace, and truly top-notch service and dining, this hotel is definitely worth recommending, and it's a place I'd happily stay at again.

A quiet place by the river in the middle of flowers and trees. The wooden mainhouse is as cosy in Summer as it might be in Winter, adorned with a majestic and well worn stone chimney. The garden and deck over the water create an intimate setting with the wonderful Ağva area, between river, forests and the black sea. The staff is friendly and attentive and the service was on point. The food offering covers Turkish basics and they are tasty and plentiful, some western staples are on offer too. The rooms are comfortable enough and each bungalow is hidden in the beautiful garden vegetation, one is even surprised so many rooms can feel so secret in such a small setting. The çay samovar sits by the quiet waterway and is enjoyable all day long with the lazy sway of reeds ruffled by the wind off the sea. Overall a fantastic stay.

Not sure why this is a 5-star hotel. The amenities are just okay and the room has more of a 3-star feel. The AC did not work well - we woke up feeling very hot in the middle of the night even though we set the AC to the lowest temperature. On the last night, water was leaking from the ceiling near the AC which just confirmed our experience. We told the concierge and they just put some towels in the ceiling to absorb the water (as a temporary fix?). Hope they permanently fixed it by now.

The hotel is right by the sea, a great location, and it's also very close to a subway station. I booked well in advance, but I was only given a very small room.

The view from our room was beautiful. We found the shampoo and soap in the bathroom to be overly scented and did not like them. The room was clean, and the hotel was easy to access. However, the sign indicating the entrance to the hotel from the parking area could be more visible.

Convenient location with attractions within walking distance. It's a small, cozy hotel. We got a family room on the first floor with a balcony. Housekeeping was daily. Breakfast was the same every day, but you won't go hungry (egg, cigar borek, cheese, sausage, vegetables, cookies, fruit), instant coffee from a machine, tea, juice. The staff were very responsive and lovely. The rooms, furniture, and plumbing are a bit dated but in working order. There's a railway and a road directly under the windows (balcony), so the noise might be less on floors above the first. Having a balcony with a sea view for evening gatherings is a wonderful bonus. Breakfast on the terrace offers a beautiful view. Overall, a pleasant impression.

The hotel is good. It doesn't reach 5*, but for its price it's good. There wasn't much in the breakfasts, no fruit at all((( The location is good, if you're not going to the old town. Because taxis to the sights are expensive. Only when checking in there was a Russian-speaking employee. After that no one spoke Russian.

Don't choose Block C! Don't choose Block C! Don't choose Block C! But only Block C has a kitchen! If you absolutely have to choose it, pick a floor above the 3rd! Below the 3rd floor, it's all chimney smoke!!! The hotel is divided into three blocks, A, B, and C. Only A and B are in one building, while Block C is in a separate building outside the main hotel. All the staff, except for the front desk and cleaning staff who at least crack a smile, are incredibly unhelpful. If you're struggling with luggage or shopping, or can't carry things, they have no intention of assisting you. Especially the security guards in Block C! They're like mannequins or something! You need to swipe your card to enter Block C, and if you're carrying luggage and other items, it's impossible to get your room card out. They just sit there on their phones, watching you! Why would the boss pay so much just to hire a bunch of people like this?

A great hotel that I can warmly recommend. The breakfast was incredibly good. The facilities met my expectations. The pool was a decent size and was cleaned regularly. I enjoyed visiting the sauna in the late afternoon, followed by a walk along the sea and exploring the nearby restaurants.

The location, cleanliness, and breakfast were excellent. Although I mentioned a problem with the shower head when I checked in, this problem was not resolved. Such problems can occur in any business. A faster response would be great.
