There were no particular problems with the room. There are no toilets or showers as they are shared facilities. You can book aurora tours and other tours from this hotel, and participate in tours at a discounted price. There is a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. Meals are provided (room service). Rental car service is available. There are lots of cats! Thoughts on the stay The floors were generally clean, as you had to change from shoes to slippers at the entrance. The cats in the hotel were also cute. The hotel itself was nice and I would like to stay again next time. One thing that was puzzling was that I never met the receptionist and didn't know where the reception was, so I was confused about that."

"The hotel is located in the city centre right by the harbour, with magnificent view of the opposite coast, the Arctic Cathedral, and the surrounding mountains. Thanks to the downtown location, it is easy to get to the hotel by bus from the airport. (The airport express bus stops right outside the hotel, while the local buses stop 2 streets away.) There are numerous restaurants, shops and supermarkets within a 10 minute walking distance from the hotel. The check in and check out processes were fast and the staffs were efficient. My room is clean, comfortable and quiet. Hot water came quickly in the shower, and the WiFi is easy to access. There are water dispensers beside the lift lobby on every floor. While the room rate is not cheap, the rate of this hotel is slightly less than the rates of similar hotels in the vicinity."

"Conveniently located, walking distance to Arctic cathedral. Breakfast is excellent and very good spread . The front desk staff on 4 Oct early afternoon morning is extremely helpful. The Bristol staff whom I have placed order for early breakfast has forgotten to register my order and this front desk gentleman is kindly to help and give me the breakfast in time for my departure."

"Perfect stay if you’re looking for a more local authentic stay. We had a cozy wooden cabin with 2 bedrooms and kitchen, which was perfect for our group of 4. We cooked meals there and could hang out together in the living and dining room, all of the above wouldn’t have been possible in a traditional hotel. The location is more secluded, not convenient if you don’t have a rental car."

"Stayed for 3 nights. Was upgraded from standard room to superior room. Hotel reception are friendly, particularly Amalie which has bubbly character, it was a great experience dealing with her, great start for my stay. Nice, warm and comfortable room. This room type has a Nespresso machine, you can also make tea with the kettle provided. Good breakfast, plenty of choices including fried rice. There is a sauna and gym with majestic view. Airport bus dropped me off directly just opposite this hotel. The pick up point for most northern light tours are nearby. Overall it was a great stay and highly recommended."

"One of our favourite hotels of our trip. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms. Quite spacious and we appreciated the seating areas. Rooftop was amazing, we caught the northern lights there! Gym was great too. There were sauna and jacuzzi facilities for an extra cost."

"Hotel is conveniently located and just 2 mins walk to the Airport Express Bus. Also easy access to grocery stores, food and Tromso port. Its a simple budget hotel with small and comfortable room. There seemed to have machine for laundry at 3rd floor for 90kr a wash. The reception is also a bar to get your drinks. There are work space in front of the 'Barception'. Staffs were cool 😎"

"Hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade after knowing that we were travelling for our honeymoon! Room was clean and spacious. Toilet floor was heated, definite plus point!"
