Notably, towels that were removed were not consistently replaced with new ones (One night all were removed, none were replaced. Another night, all were removed and only one was replaced)"

"A great place to stay, though the uphill walk to the building can be a bit challenging. The property is clean, even with shared toilets and showers. I appreciated the shared kitchen and the free laundry. The complimentary cookies, coffee, and tea were a nice touch and really made a difference. Oliver at reception was especially helpful and provided plenty of useful information. I would definitely recommend staying here"

"The hotel is near the airport, an easy 20-minute walk if the weather's good. On a snowy day, we opted for the bus to the airport, which was super convenient. The hotel was quite busy overall, and breakfast started at 6:30 AM, the earliest I've seen in Norway! The breakfast selection was actually quite varied, though the layout was a bit cramped. You do need to return your own tray. The coffee machine was very easy to use. There's also a stunning observation deck right next to the breakfast area."

"I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. It was the last hotel on a 10 trip in Norway At the previous hotels on this trip I had asked for room on high floor with nice view but never got one. However, at Radisson the man at reception took note of my request and upgraded me to a lovely room with an amazing view of Tromso. It really made the last two days of my trip special enjoying the perfect view. The room was also quiet and comfortable and cleaned promptly in the morning Breakfast was very nice, I particularly enjoyed the selection of fresh breads, yoghurt and fish Location is very central and opposite the stop for the airport bus. "I have upgraded to deluxe house from the hotel email due to adding two friends of mine are joining. I have paid so much extra to top up from the hotel. When I checked in, the receptionist said I have to pay extra NOK 200 because I did not inform them that I have 2 extra friends are joining. Firstly, I did call to the hotel to check how much I need to top up due to two friends are joining. Second, the deluxe house is meant to have 4 -5 people to stay in, we have 4 people in total. Third, I booked this hotel on my first night and last night in my Tromso trip. I’m looking forward to stay river view and garden view. But unfortunately the service that I received is extremely disappointed and bad!!"

"The hotel is in an excellent location in the harbor overlooking the Arctic Cathedral and right next to Storgata!!! It is a bit old but remains traditional!! Perhaps some renovation in the rooms would be needed! Breakfast is a classic intercontinental breakfast buffet while the dinner is somewhat poor and basic! The fika is a nice touch!! The staff was pleasant and smiling except for the skinny young man on the day we checked in who was obviously bored and wanted to go to school and did not inform us about anything!! We had to ask him about all the procedures of the meals and the hotel while he did not provide us with any other information either about the hotel's facilities or information about the city! It is worth it just for the location and we would probably prefer it again!! And yes, we saw the northern lights one night from our window across the mountain and above the harbor!!!"

"1. **Location:** The location is quite good, right in the city center. The city itself isn't very big, so you can walk everywhere. It's just a few minutes' walk to the library and the northernmost McDonald's. Getting to the cable car is a bit further on foot, maybe a 20-30 minute walk. You can also take the bus, as there are plenty of bus stops nearby. There are supermarkets and restaurants right next door, so it's all quite convenient. 2. **Service:** The room doesn't have a kettle or slippers. If you need hot water, you have to ask the front desk to get it for you…"

"This hotel is great. The restaurant on the first floor offers 24-hour hot water, tea, and coffee. There's an elevator and free luggage storage. Our ferry was at 1 AM, and it's only a five or six-minute walk from the hotel to the pier. We were able to relax in the restaurant and have tea, which was a very thoughtful service from the hotel, and we really appreciate it. The airport shuttle stop is also conveniently close, about 200 meters away. The breakfast had a good variety of food, including salmon (though without soy sauce and wasabi, only olive oil...). However, the salmon seemed to be limited; once a plate was gone from the buffet, it wasn't refilled... I wonder if asking the kitchen would have gotten more!! 🤭🤭"
