"This was a great location slightly out of the city to catch the Northern Lights without going on a tour (we saw it two nights out of five! Cabins were well kept and clean, we were two adults and two teens and there was enough space for everyone. It is 10mins walk to the bus stop to the city, of 40mins walk across the bridge to the city, both of which were manageable for us. Note that there aren’t many restaurants nearby. All in I was extremely happy we chose this place for the Tromso leg of our trip."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Dock 69 39 hotel. Super clean, very cosy, quiet and comfortable. Location is good, 10 min - 20min walk to all the meeting points to catch your experiences. Easy access from the airport with 42 bus. They offer a great breakfast selection so it is definitely worth it to add this option to your booking. The rooftop spot is also cool to go and check if the sky has some activity. The upper dock restaurant provides a great selection of the meals, very tasty as well. The only thing that is not worth paying (30e per person) for is a spa and sauna. If you are a regular user of sauna you will be very disappointed, we booked 1h30 min and when we came to use it, it was totally cold, we needed to wait 30 min to heat it up...the view is on another hotel bedrooms and cold swimming pool is used by another guests that didn't take shower after session in sauna. The resting place is so small, that you can't rest. No fruits, or other beverages, only water from the tap. If you are an occasional user and you don't care, you can try it. For us it is something that should not be charged additionally as it is not worth it. Overall this is a great hotel to enjoy Tromso. We can really recommend."

"This hotel is right next to Tromsø Airport, and there's an airport bus stop just outside. The bus ride itself only takes about 5 minutes, 😂 but the ticket costs over 100 RMB, which felt a bit steep. It's perfect for late-night arrivals, especially after a long 10+ hour journey; you can get to the hotel and rest quickly after landing. The environment and facilities are pretty standard, on par with most hotels in Norway. Service gets a thumbs up! I managed to snag a free coffee from the front desk when checking out in the morning. Since the hotel is a bit away from the city center, there's less light pollution, and we were incredibly lucky to see the Northern Lights right from the rooftop terrace!"

"The room was nice, the snow view outside was beautiful, the common area on the first floor was very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was also very good. The bathroom was very clean. The room was well-heated, and the check-in instructions were very detailed."

"Great location, not far from the center of the town and not far from the best restaurants! nice repeptionist! there is only one bathroom and one shower on each floor, which can be too little at times. Worked out for us tho! We were able to see the northern lights from our window!"

"The room was small, and there were very few power outlets. The USB socket on one side of the bedside was broken, but I was able to borrow a power strip with three outlets from the front desk, and they told me there were more outlets under the bed. Without that power strip, there would only have been two outlets plus one USB port available by the window. If you leave early, the hotel front desk offers a simple breakfast, which was decent. During normal breakfast hours, gluten-free options are also available. The shower stall in the bathroom was very small, making it a bit awkward for a woman to shower comfortably. The floor tiles in the shower had a steep slope for drainage, so I had to really grip with my feet to avoid bumping into the right-angled, double-door shower enclosure. The front desk staff member who checked me in on the first day was quite good; she informed us that the aurora would be very strong that night and the next, advising us to keep an eye on the sky."

"The views are incredible – from my room, I could see the Arctic Cathedral and the cable car. The location is excellent, and I was very satisfied with my three-night stay. However, the cleaning service was a bit of an issue. For consecutive nights, they don't clean by default, and you have to book cleaning a day in advance. When we first entered our room, there were cleaning tools and dirty cups left by the cleaning staff. We put them outside our door, and they weren't taken away until noon the next day (I suspect the cleaning staff only works between 12 PM and 4 PM). Towels aren't changed unless you go to the front desk to get fresh ones; nobody comes to change them for you. I understand the Nordic efficiency and the 'eco-friendly' approach, but considering the average daily room rate of around 3500 [currency, presumably NOK or equivalent], it's a bit disappointing. Of course, the price isn't the hotel's fault; all hotels in Tromsø have seen huge price hikes, and I heard it's much cheaper in the summer."

"Facilities: There's a kettle, and disposable items like shower caps are provided. Cleanliness: Very clean and hygienic, with a great Nordic-style decor. Service: Front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast service are all excellent. Location: Absolutely central, convenient for getting anywhere. Close to the shopping street, the station, and the hotel itself is a hub for many tours and activities. What I didn't expect was how dry it is here (compared to the UK). The view from the window is as shown in the picture."

"Basic hotel but you have the essentials. It is clean very close to the main street where all the shops are located. The breakfast buffet is very simple but you have a little bit of everything. You always have tea or coffee available in the hall if you feel like it. They also have a parking service in the back, it is fair but it gives you the service, I used it and although it was an ice rink at least you know that your car is ok since parking on the street is mission impossible and everything is pay."
