The headboard was dusty, and the bedside table was covered in dust! I figured it didn't matter since I was only staying one night, so I didn't say anything. That night, I closed the doors and windows to rest, but lying down felt like lying on a curb—there was absolutely no soundproofing! I could hear every car passing by and people talking on the street! I thought it would get better after a while, but it remained like that until the next morning. In the morning, there were even women chatting at the door. I hadn't slept all night, and my head was throbbing! When I got downstairs, I complained to the front desk, saying the room wasn't soundproof and I hadn't slept well the night before. Her first response was, "Yes, our rooms aren't soundproof because they're next to the street. We thought you liked the noise! ​​And you booked a cheap room, so it's like this." First, when I booked, there was only one room left. Second, they didn't inform me that the room wasn't soundproof upon check-in. Third, I checked the prices of other rooms, and they were only 10-20 yuan different from mine. Does that mean that because I booked a cheaper room, I should be staying in a room without soundproofing? I raised the issue on the spot, and instead of apologizing, they mocked me, saying, "You booked a cheap room, so we thought you liked it? Our room is noisy!" My intention was simply to give them feedback so they could improve the situation, and this is the attitude I received!"
