Amazing
AAnonymous UserWe stayed in an excellent suite on the top floor, through a great deal from Trip. The room was a good size - not massive, but easy for 3 people (couple + child) to live comfortably. Location is great if you're looking for something near the waterfront. The fitness center (including full-length pool) is huge, and I believe people pay good money to use it as a private gym (which you get the benefit of for free). I would stay again in a heartbeat.

GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs. The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting. For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

MMs KWThe hotel is conveniently located and the sky train is very fast. The room was larger and cleaner than expected, and 2 bottles of water were replaced every day. I use L'OCCITANE EN PROVENCE for shampoo, shower and conditioner.

NNick S.The hotel is conveniently located, just a 30-minute SkyTrain ride from Vancouver Airport to Vancouver City Centre, followed by a 4-5 minute walk. Alternatively, an Uber takes about 20 minutes. It's also excellent for exploring, with waterfront restaurants and shopping just a 5-10 minute walk away. The building itself has an older charm and is on the smaller side. Its heavy entrance door is always manned by a doorman. While the intersection immediately next to the hotel didn't feel particularly safe, the hotel's security measures appeared very solid, which was reassuring. Despite having only one elevator, we didn't experience any inconvenience. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, as were the bathroom facilities. L'Occitane toiletries were a nice touch, though we were disappointed by the absence of a refrigerator. A minor concern was the lack of sheer curtains on the windows, which raised slight privacy worries from surrounding buildings. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel also boasts an attached steakhouse and bakery. For breakfast, guests can choose from three menu options, served in the underground restaurant.

GGuest UserService was good, room was clean and well equipped, although short on coffee pods. The decor was dated as were all appliances and fixtures. Chairs and coach were all low (not good for a bad back), the toilet was also old and low. Best feature was close proximity to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Worst ”feature” was being told the room had a king bed, but no, just a queen. The isn't the only hotel that misrepresents their beds, what an annoying trend. The onsite restaurant pub is very average. Fries were greasy but my Buffalo Chicken Wrap and my wife's Bacon & Tomato Soup were ok. Service in the restaurant was excellent, very helpful waitress.

JJEndangWe stayed here for 5 nights. They are in a great, if not the best, location in Vancouver. Next to Waterfront station where they have skytrain, seabus, buses and train. Also literally at Canada Place where they have free shuttle to Grouse Mountain and Capilano bridge. You can see the cruise, seaplane and helicopter from your room too. Minutes of walk to Gastown to see the stream clock. Best thing is, when you buy a fridge magnet of Vancouver, the hotel is part of the iconic building. Staffs are really friendly too, our room is always clean. If I have a complain, I'm just not very used to housekeeper's trolleys being 24/7 on appearance at the corridor of a 5-star hotel. Other than that, it's a near perfect stay. Loving the view from our room too.

JJocelyn QianThis is an older hotel, and while it might be dated, you don't have to worry about cleanliness. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. The Christmas lights out front were beautiful. However, on my first day, a female staff member was selling Capilano Suspension Bridge Park tickets and made a mistake. When I requested a refund, she clearly showed her displeasure. Her behavior was as if she'd never received hotel training; she was very disrespectful. To my surprise, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, she outright gave me an attitude. I've traveled to over 40 countries and more than 100 cities, staying in countless hotels, and this is the first time I've ever had to complain about a hotel employee's service attitude. Thankfully, her manager, Frank, handled the situation professionally. Still, it left a rather unpleasant mark on my Vancouver vacation.

GGuest UserFifteen years ago, entering and exiting was a hassle because it relied on a password, but now they provide a card, making access much easier. It's quite clean, likely due to frequent cleaning. If it's not peak season, I can have a large room all to myself. It's affordable, and I can toast bagels for breakfast. The Wi-Fi works well, which is a plus since some regular hotels don't even have it. It's really cheap. Seems like a good option for solo travelers.

AAnonymous UserHotel facilities are great, I highly enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the fitness center. As for the amenities, shampoo and conditioner were only replenished once despite hanging the sign asking for more on the door. The same goes for the tea set. Unfortunately there were no kettle in the room. The room itself was nice and spacious, with a large TV and a study table.
