The hotel room was spotless and very quiet at night, which is a huge plus for anyone who values good sleep – highly recommend it! The front desk staff was lovely; the lady at reception paid close attention to the notes I left on Trip.com and even gave me an eye mask. The location is super convenient for transport on weekends, and dining is a breeze with all sorts of malls downstairs and the old street right next door. Breakfast was also fantastic with a great variety of choices. I'll definitely pick this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming.

The hotel's guest services called a day in advance to ask about our estimated arrival time, if there were any elderly guests, and any special needs. It's clear the hotel really values guests' requirements. 👍🏼 The hotel environment is excellent, with good greenery, and staff are always maintaining it. Plus, every corner of the hotel is super photogenic! 😆 The front desk staff quickly processed our check-in and even upgraded our room for free! 👍🏼 They also explained all the important details clearly. 😎 The room was clean and tidy, with a great wet/dry separation and an amazing ambiance. I have to say, both the hotel's interior and the rooms are incredibly picturesque! 😛 The hotel breakfast offered both Western options and Yunnan's special rice noodles, and it was consistently good every morning. 😊 All the hotel staff were very friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. 👍🏼 From the environment, cleanliness, facilities, to the service, my family and I were extremely satisfied. Choosing the MGallery was definitely a wise decision! 🌹🌹🌹

This hotel is truly exceptional. The service is attentive and top-notch. The rooms are spotless, well-equipped, and conveniently located for exploring. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner options are extensive. The lobby is a lovely touch, offering complimentary fruits, soft drinks, and a tea ceremony. Every staff member, from the front desk to the lobby, housekeeping, restaurant, and security, is incredibly polite. The front desk service, in particular, is swift, professional, thorough, and outstanding. The hotel's special 'De Ting Courtesy' offer, which includes a complimentary buffet lunch for two, and their signature pure chicken soup for late-night snacks, are incredibly popular with guests. The hotel environment is warm and inviting. I will definitely visit this establishment again when I return to Pu'er. It truly feels like a home away from home. May De Ting Hotel continue to uphold its virtues, be bustling with guests, and enjoy prosperity and abundant wealth.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Shannyn's service was excellent, and the whole place really gives off a relaxing vacation vibe. It's especially great for families with kids because of all the animals they have – black swans, miniature horses, sheepdogs, alpacas, and goats. In the mornings, you can even feed the fish, which my child loved. The breakfast was delicious, and there's a complimentary tea-tasting area. The rooms are a lovely blend of modern and traditional Chinese styles. I particularly liked that the toilet and shower areas are completely separate and in different spots, and the toilet even has its own sink. When I first checked in late at night, I asked for a crib, and the front desk said I'd need to come back in the morning since it was so late. I actually didn't bother going back the next day because I thought we'd manage without it, but to my surprise, we found a crib already in our room – that was such a thoughtful touch! The hotel's paid restaurant is also really good; the food is healthy with just the right amount of salt. They also have hot spring baths and a sauna, and the shower stalls are private. Plus, the hotel offers traditional costume and wedding dress photography, which is amazing! I seriously recommend this place. While I wasn't a fan of other attractions in Lijiang, I truly loved this hotel. And the pool isn't cold either!

The hotel does not match the photos. The interior looks quite worn and outdated, and it is unclear when it was last renovated. Overall, the place feels rather old. The only real advantage was the view from the window. However, the balcony is not comfortable for relaxing. The elevators are also old and somewhat strange. It gets very hot inside. The air conditioning only works when you are in the room, so every time you return it is very stuffy and uncomfortable. There is no privacy at all: the toilet and shower are not properly separated and are completely transparent. One small positive point is that it was possible to leave luggage for a few hours after check-out. The location has its drawbacks. The street is very busy, and calling a taxi can take time, plus it is not very convenient for pick-up. The only convenience is that in the evening you can easily walk to the night market, which starts right next to the hotel in the same area. If you came specifically for the market, it may be suitable. Otherwise, most other places are quite far away.

Excellent 5-diamond hotel in the best location for holiday in Kunming. Easily our favourite hotel on our trip to Yunnan. Nanping Pedestrian Street and Shuncheng Shopping Centre are less than 5 minutes walk away. Kunming Old Street is not too far away either. Our room was spacious, modern, clean and nicely decorated. Nice view from the windows. No smoke smell. The bathroom, vanity area and toilets were thoughtfully designed. There was even a portable clothes steamer in our room. Little details that made our stay more comfortable. The were plenty of washing machines and dryers that were free for us to use. We didn’t even need to wait around for clothes to finish washing. The helpful staff there would help us transfer our washed clothes into the dryer. We just had to provide our room number, and the staff would keep the dried clothes into laundry bags for us to collect later. Best laundry service in any hotel in the world! The breakfast buffet offered lots of choices.

Staying here when catching a flight is such a lifesaver! I stayed at this hotel last time I was in Kunming too. It's right by the airport and they offer free shuttle service, so no need to hassle with taxis or finding your way – super convenient. The room was spotlessly clean, no weird smells or dust anywhere, which was a real pleasure to see. The bed was incredibly comfortable, just the right balance of soft and firm, making it easy to relax and get a good night's sleep, no matter how tired I was from traveling. Whether you have an early morning flight or arrive late, this place is perfect. It's hassle-free, comfortable, and offers great value for money for travelers. Highly recommend!

Facilities: The hotel's facilities are superb! The bedding in the room is comfortable, the toiletries are complete and of great quality, and basic amenities like air conditioning and hot water run smoothly. The smart room control system is also very convenient to use. In the public areas, the fitness and lounge areas are well-equipped with brand new and well-maintained equipment, and the public area hygiene is also exceptionally good. Service: This stay was fantastic, and I must highlight Minnie and George Chai at the front desk for their exceptionally professional and attentive service. Check-in and check-out were super efficient, they were smiling throughout, and patiently explained the hotel facilities and provided tips for local attractions and dining. Their thoughtfulness was evident in every detail. Any questions we had were answered instantly, and their attitude was gentle and considerate, adding so much warmth to our trip. Their excellent service truly made our entire stay perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and commend Minnie and George Chai for their outstanding service!

My overall stay was very satisfying. The hotel has a strong Chinese aesthetic, with an elegant and tranquil antique atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy, featuring classic and grand Chinese decor, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The service was warm and attentive, and the staff were polite. The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. It offers great value for money, allowing for an immersive experience of Chinese aesthetics, and is highly recommended. If I come to Kunming again, I would definitely choose this hotel. The front desk staff recommended several excellent restaurants, and during this time, you can also see Kunming's jacarandas.

This hotel is located in the Duoyishu Scenic Area of Yuanyang. We chose a room on the 4th floor with a terrace, and the view absolutely blew away all other rooms. We had a vast expanse of terraced fields right in front of us, perfect for photos at any time, especially stunningly beautiful at sunrise – no need to jostle with crowds at the Duoyishu observation deck. The room facilities were pretty complete, including a huge soaking tub, though it felt largely unnecessary. The hotel service was also excellent; they contacted us in advance about our arrival and parking. Since the hotel is situated on a hillside, it's not accessible by private car, but the hotel provides a minivan for pick-up and drop-off at any time. There's no elevator, but the hotel staff were very helpful with luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel offers breakfast sets and also has an à la carte menu. I highly recommend this place for guests who want to enjoy beautiful scenery without having to get up too early or rush to crowded scenic spots. All the photos and videos below were taken from the hotel room.

GGuest UserBooked a six-night stay in a mountain-view villa for my family. The views were stunning, the rooms were spotless, the air was fresh, and the service was attentive. There were plenty of activities, and the airport transfers were perfectly on time. My whole family had an absolute blast! My favorite part was watching the little white geese and ducklings swimming freely in the lake 𓅿𓅹 – they were incredibly cute! In the early morning, you could also witness the magnificent 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' spectacle. Breakfast was delicious, especially the Ersi noodles, which were truly unforgettable. The staff were always warm and thoughtful, bringing us different special snacks every day, like rose cakes, roasted potatoes, and milk cheese… Each day brought a new surprise! My family also had a deep dive into traditional culture at the hotel, including the Naxi blessing ceremony, recycled paper making, and Dongba calligraphy and painting. It was both professional and fascinating! For those who love traditional culture, this is definitely not to be missed.

YYappariStory✨ Overall Impression Stepping into the hotel, the lobby's design immediately gives you that ”the vacation has begun” feeling. The wooden structures combined with Southeast Asian-style decor – statues, elephant ornaments, and warm lighting – create a gentle, slightly exotic ambiance. It's understated but rich in detail. 🍽️ Dining Experience The hotel's buffet area focuses on ”Yunnan specialty cuisine,” with meticulous attention paid to both plate presentation and space design. The open-plan counters are neat and clean, offering a wide variety of choices. While featuring local flavors, it also caters to different tastes. Overall, it's above average – not stunning, but comfortable and diverse. 🛏️ Room Experience The rooms are spacious and well-laid out, exuding the relaxed vibe of a resort hotel. 🛋️ Features a separate lounge area and a balcony. 🌿 The outdoor terrace is perfect for relaxing in the morning or evening. 🛁 The bathroom is fully equipped with a separate wet/dry area and a bathtub. The overall style is natural and warm, with wood and soft lighting making it easy to unwind. However, upon closer inspection, some facilities show a bit of age, though they are still maintained in a comfortable condition. 🌴 Environment and Facilities The hotel feels more like a resort-style hot spring hotel than a purely business hotel. 🌳 Spacious outdoor areas with a resort atmosphere. 🚗 Luxury cars parked at the entrance enhance the overall sense of class. 🏛️ Richly decorated public areas, perfect for photos. It's particularly suitable for slow-paced travelers rather than those rushing through their itinerary. 💡 Pros Summary ✔️ Spacious and very comfortable. ✔️ Has a resort atmosphere, great for relaxation. ✔️ Diverse dining options. ✔️ Distinctive design, photo-friendly. ⚖️ Areas for Improvement ▫️ Some facilities are a bit dated. Recommended for: ✔️ Those looking to slow down in Kunming. ✔️ Travelers who enjoy hot springs + a resort style. ✔️ Guests who prioritize space and comfort. This isn't a hotel that will wow you at first glance, but it's a place where you can unwind and stay comfortably. In a city with such pleasant weather as Kunming, it feels more like a ”gentle haven” than a showy luxury.

AAnonymous User1. **Check-in Area:** The check-in counter, or front desk, was quite shabby. The computer keyboard was practically caked in grime, and don't even get me started on the sofa next to it – it looked very unhygienic. 2. **Dining:** The breakfast area was a bit cramped, with just four small tables by the street. If you're a party of more than two, you'd have to sit separately, or you might even have to stand and wait for a table. The coffee, however, was good. I only had breakfast once: a cold quinoa salad (see Photo 6) served with bread that had an overpowering artificial creamer flavor. I had been looking forward to the rice noodles for the next day, but serving didn't start until 8:30 AM, which was far too late for my rumbling stomach. Early risers and those who prefer hot meals should seriously consider other options or make alternative arrangements. 3. **Room (2nd floor) - Noise Issues:** Don't even think about getting any sleep at night. After 11 PM, there was still noise along the street, along with the clanging of the garbage truck. (Seriously, I'd strongly advise against staying in the Old Town.) The next day, it started pouring before dawn, and the sound of the heavy rain kept me awake as well. 4. **Room - Facility Issues:** The room I stayed in was supposedly the quietest in the entire hotel. It featured a large bathtub and a bathroom where the toilet and shower area lacked wet/dry separation. Unable to deal with the wet floor, I decided to shower in the bathtub. That's when I discovered Problem #1: the glass partition was completely transparent, with no curtain or frosted glass. The staff member claimed this was 'design.' Then came Fatal Problem #2: the bathtub had no running water, haha! 😄 5. **Room - Odor Issues:** Upon entering, there was a strong musty smell. The staff claimed it was due to 'raw wood,' but it's been 8 years and it still smells like that? Quite amusing. 6. **Staff (Pre-Check-in):** Before I even checked in, they asked me to cancel my booking on the platform and pay them privately for a discounted rate. I have this in writing. This is definitely a huge red flag, and I'm surprised they even dared to suggest it. 7. **Staff (General):** The individuals themselves were nice enough, but I was surprised to find that all the 'Jixiashan' staff were quite young, without uniforms, and seemingly without direct supervision, which gave a very disorganized and casual impression. 8. **Housekeeping:** I was quite satisfied with the housekeeping. Seeing the clean duvet and towels gave me peace of mind (P.S. the pillows were also comfortable). The hotel's facilities are very old; no matter how clean the bathroom tiles were, they still looked run-down, compounded by the dim lighting. Therefore, I feel the housekeeping staff here really have a tough job. 9. **Building Structure:** One morning, during a heavy downpour, when I opened my 2nd-floor room door, the entrance was essentially flooded up to my heels. It was quite a feat that the water didn't spread into the room. At night, there were no lights, so I had to grope my way back to the room along the dark corridor. It would be quite difficult for someone who doesn't remember their way (see Photos 1-2). 10. **Hotel Amenities:** One night, I heard the guest next door return, unable to open their door with the key, and had to call a staff member for help. They chatted for a bit outside the door before the staff member finally told the guest a 'trick': 'The key needs to be inserted a certain way, and the lock has a particular mechanism...' That's quite a struggle – needing a special technique just to get back to your room! 11. **Minor Details:** The room key had a very large, bulky leather tag attached to it. Absolutely no consideration for travelers on long journeys with limited luggage space. Who would want to carry such a bulky thing around? I originally had high hopes for the 'Jixiashan' brand. When I was in Shangri-La, I heard their Meili store had a collaboration with Kolon, which made me think they had good taste. This Dali Ancient City location is their first store, but it turned out to be such a low standard. Given the daily rate, I guess I understand why. This particular store cannot be found on 'Jixiashan's' mini-program; it's categorized under 'Wang Shenme Chuan Qu Le'.

SslarryxOur experience at Pullman Resort was absolutely perfect! The ambiance is elegant and serene, with stunning garden landscapes. Our room was clean, comfortable, and offered a spectacular view – we could even see the 'golden mountains' (sunrise/sunset over the mountains) right from our bed. Rita provided thoughtful and prompt service, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The convenient location made getting around a breeze. The overall atmosphere was incredible, making it our top choice for a vacation. Highly recommend, five stars!

GGuest UserWhen I was choosing accommodation for my first trip to Lijiang, I saw many positive reviews for the Indigo Hotel, praising both the service and the rooms, so I decided to book here. After checking in, I found all the staff to be incredibly friendly, and the room was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located near the South Gate of the Old Town, making it a great choice, especially for those traveling with children. A special thanks to Byron, King, and David for their warm and attentive service! I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit!

BbabesueThis time, I stayed at Po Xin Yun She Wenyuan with my child, and the experience far exceeded my expectations – definitely a five-star rating! The guesthouse is nestled in the heart of Lijiang Old Town, with Sifang Street to its left, Mu Mansion to its right, and Lion Hill at its back. The courtyard is a converted traditional Naxi residence, featuring bluestone paths and a flowing garden. Every step reveals a new scenic view, offering a rich sense of ancient charm and serene comfort. There's also a 'Sky Mirror' observation deck on the rooftop, providing stunning views of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – perfect for photos. What surprised me most was that the hotel lobby frequently organizes craft activities for children! Every afternoon, my child would run off to draw and do crafts, having an absolute blast. The hand-sewn sachets became the most cherished souvenir of our trip. In the evenings, the courtyard was illuminated with intricate lights, and my child loved chasing the ground lights, so happy they didn't want to go back to the room. All the staff were incredibly patient with children – playing with them, chatting, and telling stories. It didn't feel like staying in a hotel at all, but rather like visiting relatives. The butler would deliver warm milk every evening, and my child wouldn't go to sleep without having a cup. From airport pick-up and luggage handling to recommending itineraries, everything was thoughtful and attentive, truly giving a 'home away from home' feeling. Our family room was spacious and bright, equipped with dedicated slippers, towels, and toothbrushes for children – excellent attention to detail. The Mousse mattress and latex pillows provided great support, ensuring a sound sleep for the whole family. Even the towels and bath towels were brand-new bamboo fiber, and we could take them with us when we checked out, making it hygienic and eco-friendly. The breakfast was abundant, and the Naxi rice noodles were especially delicious. Yogurt and cake, which my child loves, were also provided. In short, this is a guesthouse that truly understands children. My child is already talking about 'going back to that place with the big waterwheel and the little wooden horse.' Next time we're in Lijiang, we'll definitely choose this place again!

GGuest User1. The room decor and amenities (including hygiene and toiletries) are all up to 5-star hotel standards. The hotel's location is also excellent, making it convenient to get to the airport, high-speed rail, and major attractions. There are many restaurants downstairs. 2. The balcony offers stunning views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets. It even has a swing, ideal for enjoying tea and relaxing. 3. The hotel butler service is very attentive and responds quickly to any issues. They provide complimentary airport transfers and even free hotel shuttle services to attractions. 4. There's a complimentary late-night snack every day, and rice noodles are available all day. The fridge is stocked with various beverages, and the room comes with a tea set, tea table, and coffee machine. A basket of fresh fruit is provided daily – more than you can possibly eat! 5. Upon departure, we received complimentary local specialty flower cakes and tea, adding to the pleasant surprises. 6. This hotel is very suitable for family vacations. We hope to visit again in the future.
