The bridge was thrilling 💯 I went during Halloween season, so the whole forest was decorated for Halloween, which was really fun. I enjoyed searching for Halloween decorations everywhere. I'm glad I went! I want to go again!

The bridge was very scary because the each side doesn’t balance . My youngest child was a little overwhelmed,when we were trying to walk the bridge was shaking a lot. Therefore it is worth it for an experience for my kids.🤗😅😃😁

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, located about a 20-minute drive from downtown Vancouver, is surrounded by pristine temperate rainforest and is a landmark natural and cultural attraction in Vancouver. Construction began in 1889. The Capilano Suspension Bridge is 137 meters long and 70 meters high, spanning the Capilano River Canyon. Originally built as a rope bridge, it was extremely swaying, and only the most daring dared to cross. After several renovations and reconstructions, the current bridge, completed in 1956, boasts steel cables capable of supporting up to 96 tons, ensuring its safety is fully modernized. Walking onto the bridge, you can feel a slight sway. The canyon walls are lined with towering, verdant fir and cedar trees, their ancient trunks reaching for the sky. Below lies a seemingly bottomless abyss. With each sway, you slowly cross the bridge. To the north of the park is the Treetop Adventure Trail, with seven small suspension bridges spanning the canopies of 250-year-old Douglas fir trees, the highest point reaching over 30 meters above the ground. Vancouver's temperate rainforest differs from tropical rainforests, which are dominated by broadleaf trees. It is mild and cool, receives abundant rainfall, and is primarily composed of giant evergreen conifers, covered in thick moss, ferns, and vines. It is one of the world's best-preserved temperate primary rainforests. Walking on the Treetop Adventure Trail offers an immersive experience of viewing the rainforest and canyon scenery from a high vantage point. The over 200-year-old Douglas fir and western red cedar trees have straight, thick trunks reaching towards the sky, with thick, rough bark and deep green evergreen conifer canopies. New, tender green broadleaf shrubs and ferns intertwine their branches, and sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows, creating a vibrant and lush landscape. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park was absolutely magical during the double Thanksgiving and Halloween season in October! 😊 Not only were there tons of giant pumpkins 🎃 and stunning maple leaves, but also various skull decorations, creating an incredibly mysterious atmosphere! There were also many interactive activities, perfect for a family outing with the kids. The park also provides a free shuttle bus to and from downtown Vancouver, which is very convenient. Grateful for the most beautiful autumn colors in Vancouver, and cherishing every precious moment with family and friends in life ❤️

The Best Ways to See Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

🕘 Arrive early to avoid the crowds! My regular arrival time is either after 3:00 PM or between 9:00 and 11:00 AM. In addition to being far less crowded, the pictures seem nicer.
👟Wear comfortable shoes that don't slip. The paths may get slick and damp, particularly in wooded areas. When it's chilly outside, I always pack a lightweight jacket.
🚌 Benefit from the complimentary shuttle. I saved a ton of trouble by taking the shuttle from Canada Place or neighboring hotels if I had a ticket!
📶 Get your ticket and map beforehand. Since the mobile signal at the park might be erratic, I always take a screenshot before I visit.
📸 Don't pass up the greatest photo locations. The Glass Walk on the Cliffwalk, the Treetops Adventure, and the center of the suspension bridge are all excellent locations for breathtaking photographs.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Excellent for families as well! It is enjoyable for people of all ages because of the kid-friendly zones and simple pathways.
✨ See the Canyon Lights in the winter. The park comes alive with stunning Christmas displays from late November to early January. I enjoy seeing both the daytime and nighttime scenery when I go around sunset
🎟️Make reservations online in advance. During the busiest times, tickets sell out quickly. To guarantee my seat and avoid standing in line, I always utilize Trip.com.
