With a stay at Hokkawa Onsen Hotel in Higashiizu, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park and Hokkawa Hot Spring. This guesthouse is 1.1 mi (1.7 km) from Izu Mountain Dogrun and 1.5 mi (2.4 km) from Atagawa Onsen. This guesthouse features games, table tennis, and scuba diving nearby. Amenities include designated smoking areas. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite. Make yourself at home in one of the 28 air-conditioned rooms featuring refrigerators and flat-screen televisions. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and cable programming is available for your entertainment. Bathrooms have rainfall showerheads and complimentary toiletries. Conveniences include safes and electric kettles, and housekeeping is provided on request.

"The hotel isn't far from JR Kitagawa Station, but the uphill and downhill walk can be a bit tiring. Luckily, the hotel offers a very thoughtful pick-up service. There's also a daily shuttle in the morning to Kitagawa and Atagawa Stations, which was super convenient for seeing the cherry blossoms in Kawazu. The hotel provides a lot of free amenities like drinks, ping-pong, and access to the Kurogen-Iwa Onsen. Plus, they have front desk staff who speak Chinese, making communication easy. Getting to Izu Kogen and Jogasaki Coast from Kitagawa was also very convenient."

This stay at inatori got to be one of the best decisions made. The room came with an absolutely stunning sea view which made this trip from the bustling city worth it!! You need to add the breakfast and dinner to your package too because the food served are top quality and so so delicious. We ate till we were stuffed every single night!! There’s no other hotel that come close to this amazing experience we had here. We also enjoyed the private onsen which can be booked by paying +$$ As the place is very much catered to local tourists, most of the menu, instructions are in Japanese, so just use your translator app if you have any questions! They do have staff who can speak English / mandarin!

This is the best hotel for this trip to Japan, and it is also the hotel with the best value for money. I will stay here for a few more days if I have the chance. The hotel is on a cliff by the sea, with new facilities and a sense of design. The rooms, restaurant and hot springs are decorated and arranged very carefully. All of them are sea view rooms, and the windows are large floor-to-ceiling glass, with an unobstructed view of the sea view, which is very enjoyable. The restaurant's breakfast and dinner ingredients are fresh, and the ingredients and plating are very particular. The main focus is on seafood, and the portions are full. The staff is warm, thoughtful and meticulous in their service. The hotel also provides free shuttle bus service from Atagawa Station to the hotel. It is a very cost-effective hotel, highly recommended

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at this hotel in Atagawa. Every corner of the hotel was thoughtfully decorated, and the staff were very welcoming. The same young man handled both check-in and check-out, and we communicated fluently in English throughout. He provided detailed information, and since we hadn't booked dinner, he proactively recommended several nearby restaurants and local specialties. We even tried the nearby restaurants ”Nishiki” and ”Oboro.” He was especially considerate when we checked out, offering to drive us to the station – a very thoughtful gesture. During our stay, we also enjoyed the two outdoor onsen rooms on the third floor. Soaking in the hot spring while listening to the sound of the waves was truly relaxing. I highly recommend experiencing this hotel in Atagawa.

The room we stayed in was very big, a Western-style room with two mattresses and a massage chair. The hotel's open-air hot spring bath has a great view, facing the sea. The breakfast and dinner were very rich, and the staff also thoughtfully gave each of us a lunch box when we went out in the morning. I felt that the value of the room fee was reflected in the meals. The hotel will have a free shuttle bus at Izu Atagawa Station before 4 pm every day, every hour and 30 minutes, and every half hour, so you can easily get to the hotel if you calculate the time.

大人こども総勢9名で宿泊しましたが、それでもスペースが余ってしまうほどとても広いお部屋でした。 調理器具や家電、さらには流しそうめんができる設備もあり、非日常を感じることができるとても素敵な宿でした。

This was my first solo trip to Japan, and it was a spontaneous decision. Due to my procrastination, I only started booking accommodations two days in advance. Hotels near Izu Kogen and Atami were all booked, so I booked this place. But once I arrived, I felt incredibly comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet location with beautiful scenery. The hotel facilities are also very new, and the staff are all incredibly warm and welcoming. There were Chinese ladies, as well as Japanese gentlemen and ladies. They were very polite, not in a distant or aloof way, but in a sunny, cheerful, and warm manner. Dinner was also delicious, with lobster, abalone, and many different ways of preparing golden snapper – it was all so fresh! In the morning, a soak in the hot spring is all it takes to head to Izu Kogen. I really, really want to come back here again. Personally, I don't want too many people to discover this wonderful hotel, as I'm worried I won't be able to book it later, but I still really hope they continue to improve.
