Located on Iliangbu Island near the ferry port! Also very close to the airport, a good choice when catching a plane!
The surrounding natural environment is more primitive than Miyako Island! It is a hotel near the sea!
Self-driving passengers are very suitable, because the car can be parked directly at the door of their room, and there are fewer restaurants nearby that need to drive, but the blue turtle restaurant can be reached on foot.
There are many small secret places around you can walk directly to the beach, and there are also very special limestone terrain sea views!
Although there is a kitchen for simple cooking, supermarkets and convenience stores are far away, but it is really quiet and completely away from the hustle and bustle of the city!

My overall experience staying at an apartment hotel in Japan this time was quite good. The room was more spacious than a typical hotel room and came with amenities like a kitchenette and washing machine, making it very convenient and home-like. It's especially suitable for longer trips or families. Coming back to the room every day and being able to truly relax definitely added a lot to my trip.
While there were a few minor hiccups, such as not receiving the room number and password upon check-in and it taking a little time to contact the front desk, the hotel staff were very patient and helpful in resolving the issues, and their friendly attitude made me feel at ease.
Overall, this stay was still pleasant and highly recommendable. Not only was it comfortable and convenient, but it also offered a more authentic feeling of living like a local. I would definitely consider choosing an apartment hotel again on my next visit to Japan.

The service was polite, the room was clean and very nice.
I was happy that the amenities were Diptyque!
It was a little disappointing that we had to queue for breakfast, but I guess that can't be helped💦

Anonymous UserThe hotel is new, but very small, and the pool was packed like sardines. Overall it was clean, but in the evenings, a lot of termites would fly onto the balcony. Breakfast was very mediocre and always the same. The biggest problem was the poor service. For an island resort, they don't have their own water activities; everything is outsourced. The hotel staff were clueless when asked about anything. Plus, the outsourced activities were very limited; there wasn't even a 'Yabigachi' tour available, which is ridiculous. Also, one evening I asked the front desk for some salt (I bought local pineapple specialties but forgot to buy salt, and my lips were bleeding from eating it). A Chinese-speaking person, possibly *********, very sternly told me that at such a late hour, where would they find salt for me, and that they didn't have any.

A year later, I returned to the Rosewood Miyakajima and was once again captivated by its unique scenery. However, compared to my previous wonderful experience, this stay, while still featuring stunning views, was filled with an undeniable sense of disappointment.
The room remained clean to a good standard, spotlessly spotless. Against the backdrop of this breathtaking natural environment, minor imperfections were easily overlooked. However, for a hotel costing over 13,000 RMB per night, the welcome amenities felt incredibly cheap and didn't match the quality expected at this price.
The room's smart control system was also poorly designed. The curtains/sheers were controlled as a single unit, making independent control extremely inconvenient. In the afternoon, I wanted to take a nap in the room, while my friend wanted to read in the living room. Because the curtains couldn't be adjusted individually, the lighting couldn't meet both our needs, ultimately ruining my sleep and leaving me feeling quite annoyed. Furthermore, the sliding door leading to the outside was noticeably problematic, requiring considerable force to open; the attention to detail was lacking. Upon closer inspection, the outdoor hot tub reveals layers of tiny foreign objects floating on the surface.
Both meals during my stay were at the hotel. The food quality was undeniably excellent, with exceptionally fresh ingredients. However, the service was disappointing, falling short of Rosewood's expected standards and even appearing disconnected. Each time we entered the restaurant, no staff member proactively greeted us or guided us to our seats. On the second evening, we waited at our seats for nearly ten minutes without any assistance. Finally, unable to bear it any longer, we had to call out to a staff member for a menu.
That evening, I reported this unpleasant experience to the front desk manager, but received no response whatsoever. Even after checking out, I received no feedback or apology from the hotel. Is this management style and service level truly healthy? Is it gradually eroding the trust and goodwill of loyal customers?
Based on these two experiences, I must re-evaluate whether the Rosewood Miyakojima should remain on my travel list.

VITOFORESTI enjoyed the natural beauty of Miyakojima and Shimojishima Island at Meer Hotel. It was easy to get there from Shimojishima Airport as bus number 9 stops right in front of the accommodation. I could also take bus number 9 to Painagama Beach and Maehama Beach. It was great to cook meals with my family at Meer Hotel, and the towels were changed regularly, which was a nice touch. They even lent us a Wi-Fi device, which was a huge help for our trip. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and provided lots of helpful information, making for a wonderful week. I'd love to visit Miyakojima again and this is definitely a hotel I'd return to. Thank you so much!
P.S. If you go behind the accommodation at night, you can see the stars. There are many palm trees right next to the hotel, giving it a real tropical feel. Don Quijote, a local produce market, Aeon Drugstore, and Aeon (Maxvalu) supermarket are all within a 5-minute walk, making it the perfect location for a trip.

The hotel is in a good location to explore several regions of the island. Coffee is great and the breakfast options were worth it. The room is spacious and very quiet. The team was friendly and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. The car we rented broke and they even helped us get the car working again. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we will be back! ありがとうございます :)

Anyway, it's very good.
Equipment も Qili だし, big family to けで the most suitable だと think います.
(I was a family of five)
There is a beach nearby and there is a pool in the hotel, so it is an environment that is easy to play.
Breakfast is also very delicious.
Finally, the surrounding environment is good because the Shigira group is managed together.

Pros: The swimming pool and small beach are convenient for playing in the water; parking is close and ample; the rooms are spacious and functional; the hotel is clean; the staff speak Chinese; the housekeeping staff are very polite and smiling; the hotel shop has a wide selection of common souvenirs and local specialties.
Cons: The surrounding dining options are not as numerous as in the city; latex pillows are not provided; and the breakfast options and variety are limited.

It was very good to have a washing machine and bathroom dryer. The location was good in front of the beach and in front of the bus stop. The shampoo conditioner was also good with PORA. It would have been better if there was tea pack tea coffee for drinks.
