"This is a very well priced accommodation but wish we’d known a few things first. There is only a fan in the room which means the room is very warm outside of directly in front of the fan. This did mean we ended up lying side ways on the bed to both reach the fan. The bathroom had mesh across the back so has an outside feel and some outside critters. We had to evacuate a few huge flying beetles across the two nights. It’s a peaceful location further away from Kampot centre than others but there’s always tuk tuks available right out front so isn’t too much of an issue. We probably would stay closer to the centre next time as we prefer to be closer to restaurants, despite the nice views of the river. Showers are okay temp and low pressure but overall fine."

Great
GGuest UserExcellent location, quiet, with windows overlooking the stadium and a beautiful sunrise view in the morning (a definite plus!). The rooms are new and clean, with housekeeping on request. The staff is excellent and polite, always ready to help with any issues. The room has a fridge and a tea/coffee making facility, which is very convenient. The bedding and towels are clean. It's close to the old quarter and the embankment with night cafes. We loved everything about it.
TThe Street Food GuyI have stayed here many times and its never disappointing. The staff here were very on things, the food was great and the ppol was as it always is well looked after. Only negative was there was some building work being done, but in fairness it has to be done at some time.
I will stay here again as there really is no other hotel that can match the value. Keep in mind it was 20 percent more to book on trip than it was on *********** and they do take cards if that is your issue.
GGuest UserAmazing place with super professional and friendly staff. Rooms are fantastic and a steal at the price. Vibe is really chill and food is good
PPheng Allen KaingWe had a very good experience at this hotel for the second times. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient if you have a car, though tuk-tuks can also take you there for 3–5 $. The breakfast and amenities were very satisfying. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Will come back for sure
MM418941****The shower only had cold water, but thankfully it wasn't too cold. It was under renovation when I checked in, so it was a bit messy, but the front desk staff were very friendly. Most food stalls nearby cost around two dollars, and there's also a large supermarket, making shopping convenient.
JJacqueline MerrittI have booked for mountain view rooms, for a family of five (two double beds in one room and one double bed in one room). The reason booking this room is when I booked two rooms last time, and asked for extra bed, there was no proper extra bed/not even a proper blanket for extra bed even though they charge for the extra bed.
Plus points: Room two spacious and clean. The staffs are helpful.
What I didnt like: the coffee mix only (+) for 4 persons and slippers only 2 pairs for 6 pax room. And only one bathroom/toilet for 6 pax is also not very much convenient. The contruction (+) just beside our room (but believe there may not be for our next time visit).
But overall, we really love the place, the room, the space and cleanliness. I will come stay again. 😊
GGuest UserIt's a great hotel, and the breakfast is fantastic. However, it's incredibly humid. The smell of dampness in the room is very strong, and the stains on the walls are quite noticeable. But the staff are wonderful and do their best.
LLarisa ErilinaI liked the hotel, interesting interior. Very cozy. Large room, comfortable bed. Everything you need is available. Convenient location, markets, embankment, many shops and cafes nearby. Very tasty breakfast! Polite and smiling staff.
AAh Choo 168Peaceful Retreat with Excellent Service
Overall, Bali Villa Kampot is a great place to truly unwind and do nothing for the whole day. The environment is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing and escaping from the city.
The only setback is the location. Google Maps and Grab do not link directly to the villa, and there are two listings named “Bali Villa Kampot” on the Grab app. If you select the wrong one, you may end up dropped off in a very remote area. It took me some time to figure this out.
That said, the staff service is excellent—so warm and helpful that it quickly makes you forget about the transportation inconvenience. Their hospitality really stands out and enhances the overall experience.
