GGuest UserWe wanted one night in the beach area at the last minute, and this inn was one of very few available on a weekday in the first week of March. We were in unit 404, probably the least expensive among the variety of apartments the inn has scattered on the main drag. It was still over $200 even though it was across the street from the beach, but we wanted to be at least close to the beach, so it was fine. It’s right on the main road, but we are not sensitive to road noise at night. It’s a basic one-bedroom apartment with a dining area and a microwave and mini-fridge and dishware. King bed takes up the whole bedroom but we like a king and the tv in the bedroom is enormous; there’s another in the living area where I believe there’s a pull-out couch. Everything was very clean and seemed freshly painted and pleasant. As we arrived at 6 and checkout was at 10 am we didn’t have time for the pool, but it is sunny there in the morning. That’s the only place there is to sit outside in the vicinity of 404. I believe you can use the beach chairs available on the ocean side but we were busy having a sunset walk. Two downsides for those staying just a night or even two: There’s contact-less checkin supposedly due to Covid; the inn emails you the lock code to use at 4 pm to get into your room. As we got in late in the afternoon no one was at the office (located elsewhere) to answer any questions. We left a message about the confusing TV access but no one called us back (directions for the remotes would have been helpful; it took us quite a while to figure out that the Netflix remote controls the tv). Everything else worked fine. Second, these apartments seem intended for people who are coming for a few days, and would be expected to bring their own napkins, paper towels, morning coffee etc. It’s not set up like a hotel so if you’re a one-nighter someone is going to have to drive down the road in the morning to fetch coffee! Just helps to know in advance.
