Facilities: There's an underpass to the beach, and not many dining options nearby, but the hotel breakfast was pretty good.
Hygiene: Excellent. The bath salts provided smelled wonderful and felt luxurious, I really liked them.
Ambiance: Unbeatable sea view. It made everything 10 times better. Absolutely perfect for a trip with your partner, an unforgettable memory.
Service: Exceptional. They offered afternoon tea, free photography, and complimentary cocktails – better than nothing! The restaurant view was also incredible.
Overall: This hotel is definitely worth visiting just for the photos alone.

0baohetang0✅ **Highlights & Amenities:**
The hotel boasts natural metasilicic acid radon hot springs, rich in minerals that leave your skin feeling incredibly smooth after a soak. The most impressive feature is that every room comes with its own private outdoor hot spring pool, offering excellent privacy so you can bathe whenever you like without crowds. The 81 themed pools at the hot spring center and the indoor/outdoor water park are definite bonuses. The transparent-bottomed infinity pool on the 10th floor is perfect for photos, and the stormy-themed hot spring and lazy river are ideal for families with young children looking to 'play and burn off energy.' As for dining, the Hakka cuisine at the Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant has a solid reputation, especially their fresh Hakka stuffed tofu, which is definitely worth trying.
⚠️ **Downsides & Tips:**
Firstly, the buffet breakfast receives severely mixed reviews: while some guests reported it was quite varied, many others frankly stated it was so bad it was 'worse than a budget hotel' – with insufficient seating, relying entirely on pre-made items, and being extremely perfunctory. It's advisable to avoid it during peak holiday seasons. Secondly, the hot spring area and the main building are two separate structures. Although only about ten meters apart, you have to walk outdoors, directly exposed to cold winds, which can easily lead to catching a cold. Furthermore, during peak seasons like Chinese New Year, the front desk service quality declines. There have been instances of noise filtering in at night and multiple complaints to the front desk going unaddressed, indicating that understaffing severely impacts the guest experience.
🧾 **Summary:** If you're coming for the private in-room hot spring pools and the extensive water park, it can certainly provide a relaxing holiday experience. However, I recommend visiting on weekdays to avoid the buffet breakfast pitfalls during peak holiday periods; your overall experience will be significantly better.

JameswhoPros:
1. Plenty of activities, so you'll never get bored. Of course, just relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze is also a great option.
2. The room faces the beautiful Twin Moon Bay, so it's worth setting an alarm to wake up early and step out onto the balcony to watch the sunrise.
Cons:
1. The room design is really odd. There's no separation between the wet and dry areas. It's the first time I've seen the washbasin directly behind the bed, and shower water even reaches the foot of the bed.
2. The beach directly in front of the hotel has two downsides: first, the water contains a lot of black mud and sand, and second, the sand on the beach is so coarse it hurts your feet.
Other:
If you don't want to go out for breakfast, definitely book a room with breakfast included, otherwise, 108 RMB per person is really painful. Luckily, the butler was thoughtful enough to send over some fruit.

Park Plaza Hotel in Nankunshan in Guangdong
The hotel's meals are truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in China! They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time.
After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!!
The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻
The staff were also so polite and friendly!!
Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were ..
Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining...
Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there.
There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring!
Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings...
I really hope one day I can go again!!
But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

I experienced all the common complaints mentioned in reviews, like the incredibly slow elevators and the lack of A/C in the elevator lobby. It took me 10 minutes just to go downstairs to pick up a takeout order. Breakfast was chaotic and overcrowded, and the enamel plates for the food were all chipped. My room had patches of mold, and the hot spring area consisted of just a few small, simple, and rather depressing pools. Apparently, next to the Salt Crystal building is the No. 1 Oriental building, which is unfinished and a real eyesore. However, the butler service was excellent and responsive; they quickly resolved any issues, which significantly improved my stay. The Salt Crystal front desk was incredibly slow, but the Silver Sand front desk was much better and more efficient. I wonder if the Silver Sand elevators are slow too. On a perfect note, the Reef Bar attraction was truly beautiful and served as a filming location for 'Wild Dog Bones.' Unfortunately, I only made it to the church at night and didn't have time to go up to the bar. Also, the lobby's interior and exterior are stunning, very Dubai-esque. Anyway, I definitely won't be coming back, unless the elevators get faster~~ I honestly can't imagine the stuffy heat while waiting for the slow elevators, which also lack up/down indicators and arrival notifications. I can skip breakfast, but I can't avoid using the elevator.

Beautiful, quaint apartment. Fully furnished with all the basic ammenities and needs. We had a great ocean view which wasn't directly South-facing, so the sun wasn't a big problem on the balcony.
The projector had a paid VIP membership so we could watch whatever we wanted. The wifi also worked well.
The beach is just across the road and a breeze to access.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating and were eager to assist whenever needed.
The room is cleaned every day and they supply fresh water. Breakfast was available promptly and there was a nice variety of food at the buffet. They only have the buffet over weekends though.
They also give out free toys for kids to play on the beach with and you can collect free popcorn at night.
I would definitely recommend this place to a couple or some friends going on holiday and wanting a relaxed beach atmosphere.
There was difinitely enough space for us and our baby.

Anonymous UserMy high school daughter and I came here on a spontaneous trip, and our experience was extremely satisfying.
The room was spacious and tidy, with a balcony directly facing the sea. Sitting on the balcony in the evening, quietly watching the sunset, created a wonderful atmosphere. The pool and beach were within walking distance, and the overall environment was quiet, leading to excellent rest quality.
The hotel facilities were complete; both the infinity pool and the beach were perfect for photos. It was very pleasant to walk or cycle along the Wutou Mountain greenway during leisure time. At low tide, you could even go clamming and shell collecting on the beach downstairs. The adjacent commercial street had a full range of restaurants and supermarkets, making it very convenient for daily supplies. The staff were gentle and helpful, and check-in was smooth.
Escaping from daily琐事, my daughter and I enjoyed a relaxed and carefree time by the sea. I highly recommend it.

Guest UserOur stay at the Seaworld Seaview Room in Xunliao Bay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless and well-equipped. It's just a few minutes' walk down to the beach, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The value for money was incredible, and the service was warm and attentive. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next visit.

Considering the nearly 2000 RMB per night price tag, my overall stay experience was just average, primarily due to several issues I encountered starting from check-in:
Firstly, the two front desk staff members seemed unprofessional. When I asked if breakfast could be delivered to the room, they replied with vague answers like 'I'm not sure, I don't really know, maybe not.'
Secondly, when I inquired about the SPA environment – whether it was indoors or outdoors – their response was equally unclear and hesitant. They simply handed me a price list. The brochure clearly showed a beautiful outdoor setting, so I asked if the actual environment was like that, outdoors. They said they weren't sure. I had planned to pay for a SPA session with my mother that evening, which is why I asked specific questions.
Thirdly, regarding the golf cart service: before I even got on the cart, the staff member didn't ask but rather told me directly, 'I'll take you to drive your car closer to your room, it's very near there, it will be more convenient for you to drive.' My initial thought was that as a guest, I didn't want to drive, and if there's a golf cart service, I should be able to use it to get around other areas within the hotel. So I countered, 'Can I just be driven by a golf cart within the hotel?' He said yes, but still kept pushing me to drive my car to my room. I directly refused. When we arrived at the corridor outside our room, he just said 'here it is' and didn't get off to tell us which specific room it was. It was almost 7 PM, already dark, and the lighting in the area was generally dim. He just stayed in the car and said, 'It's the door on the left once you go in,' and then left. I felt very underserved.
Fourthly, since we checked in late at night, the lights in our room hadn't been turned on beforehand, although the hot spring water and air conditioning were ready, which was good. However, because there were no lights on and no one guided us, opening the door wasn't easy, and finding the light switches was also a hassle. I suggest having a staff member accompany guests to assist with these things, especially for first-time guests checking in at night.
Fifthly, for a stay at this price point, I felt the amenities and details, usually found in four or five-star service, were lacking:
a. Disposable toilet seat covers should be provided.
b. Disposable bathtub covers should be provided.
c. A foot-wiping mat should be placed at the bathroom entrance.
Sixthly, we stayed in room 6503, a private villa with a hot spring pool in the courtyard, offering good privacy. Guests choosing a private hot spring room usually prioritize privacy. However, directly opposite the hot spring pool area were three open-work windows, facing a walkway that guests arriving at the hotel must use to get to their rooms. I recommend adding privacy blinds.
Seventhly, I called the front desk between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM to book a 9:30 PM SPA service, which is an additional paid service. The first call was transferred to another front desk. When booking with the second front desk, after providing my room number, they asked for my phone number. To protect my privacy, I asked if the room number was sufficient, and they said yes. I booked for 9:30 PM. However, when I arrived at the SPA reception on the first floor half an hour early and asked if I could start earlier, the two receptionists seemed very surprised and asked, 'Wasn't that you who just went up? You also booked for 9:30 and said you arrived early, we thought you had already been taken up.' Of course, if they had simply told me I had to wait until 9:30 PM because I was early, I would have understood. But the front desk clearly didn't handle customer booking information effectively. There were management loopholes starting from the phone booking process, such as confirming room numbers, confirming guests' surnames. Furthermore, there were only two therapists for the SPA. If two groups of customers booked for 9:30 PM simultaneously, that's also unreasonable. Additionally, the SPA front desk staff on the first floor had a rather poor attitude. On a positive note, the SPA therapists' techniques were excellent.
Separately, I would like to commend the dinner at Dongpo Pavilion. The food was served quickly and tasted good. When I dropped my chopsticks, a staff member replaced them within two seconds. The only downside was the large number of mosquitoes, but the staff promptly provided two types of mosquito coils and mosquito repellent, which solved the problem.
Overall, the soft services need significant improvement; they are comparable to a three-star hotel. The hardware facilities are matching, and the hotel's garden environment and layout have a good ambiance. However, no matter how much money is spent on hardware, without matching soft services, it will still fail to retain repeat customers.

XiaoxiaoCiThe Huidong Double-Moon Bay Tanhuayuan Hotel was incredibly popular during the summer holiday, and we stayed for two consecutive nights, both of which were fully booked. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay. Given the high volume of guests, everything from check-in, outdoor activities, indoor entertainment, breakfast, and check-out was very well organized.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options and the quality was good. As a family traveling with children, I always request a non-smoking room. Trip.com indicated that this hotel had non-smoking rooms. However, unfortunately, many guests accustomed to smoking in their rooms meant that the air conditioning absorbed the smoke odor, which couldn't be expelled in an enclosed space.
We are very grateful to our butler Lily and staff members Mina, Xiao Gao, and Taozi. When we requested a room change, they were still very active in helping us coordinate and resolve the issue, despite the hotel being at full capacity. I would like to offer some suggestions to the hotel: during the off-peak season, consider designating certain floors as non-smoking floors and thoroughly cleaning the air conditioner filters.
