This hotel boasts an amazing location, right in front of the sea with breathtaking views that truly refresh the soul. Our room offered an unobstructed ocean view, directly overlooking the beach. It was incredibly convenient to just walk through a tunnel to the beach every morning. The front desk staff were exceptionally polite and always greeted us with a smile. Our butler provided excellent and thoughtful service, promptly answering all our questions. The room itself was spacious, bright, and spotless, with comfortable bedding and a quiet environment, ensuring a great night's sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed afternoon tea on the 10th floor – the beautiful scenery combined with delicious treats made for a truly romantic and memorable time for our family, especially for couples. It was a shame that the 'cave rooms' were fully booked for several days; they were impossible to reserve. The only area for improvement would be the breakfast quality to make it even more perfect, which would surely attract more guests. True to the Honeycomb Hotel's reputation for warmth and romance, I highly recommend it with five stars!

We visited on Children's Day, which was a Sunday. We arrived around 2 PM and there was a huge queue for check-in. I suggest opening more counters when it's busy, as having to wait in line after traveling a long way really sours the first impression. Once we got to the room, we found a layer of dust on the table when we touched it, and there was still a pair of slippers from the previous guest. There was even sand on the bed. Those were the downsides. On the positive side, the sand on the beach was very fine, and the staff were all incredibly patient and friendly. The hotel's facilities were great for kids, and at checkout, they even asked about our stay and gave our child a small gift. All in all, if the hygiene was better, it would have been a perfect score.

As for dining, the Hakka cuisine at the Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant has a solid reputation, especially their fresh Hakka stuffed tofu, which is definitely worth trying. ⚠️ **Downsides & Tips:** Firstly, the buffet breakfast receives severely mixed reviews: while some guests reported it was quite varied, many others frankly stated it was so bad it was 'worse than a budget hotel' – with insufficient seating, relying entirely on pre-made items, and being extremely perfunctory. It's advisable to avoid it during peak holiday seasons. Secondly, the hot spring area and the main building are two separate structures. Although only about ten meters apart, you have to walk outdoors, directly exposed to cold winds, which can easily lead to catching a cold. Furthermore, during peak seasons like Chinese New Year, the front desk service quality declines. There have been instances of noise filtering in at night and multiple complaints to the front desk going unaddressed, indicating that understaffing severely impacts the guest experience. 🧾 **Summary:** If you're coming for the private in-room hot spring pools and the extensive water park, it can certainly provide a relaxing holiday experience. However, I recommend visiting on weekdays to avoid the buffet breakfast pitfalls during peak holiday periods; your overall experience will be significantly better.

Beautiful, quaint apartment. Fully furnished with all the basic ammenities and needs. We had a great ocean view which wasn't directly South-facing, so the sun wasn't a big problem on the balcony. The projector had a paid VIP membership so we could watch whatever we wanted. The wifi also worked well. The beach is just across the road and a breeze to access. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and were eager to assist whenever needed. The room is cleaned every day and they supply fresh water. Breakfast was available promptly and there was a nice variety of food at the buffet. They only have the buffet over weekends though. They also give out free toys for kids to play on the beach with and you can collect free popcorn at night. I would definitely recommend this place to a couple or some friends going on holiday and wanting a relaxed beach atmosphere. There was difinitely enough space for us and our baby.

Pros: 1. Plenty of activities, so you'll never get bored. Of course, just relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze is also a great option. 2. The room faces the beautiful Twin Moon Bay, so it's worth setting an alarm to wake up early and step out onto the balcony to watch the sunrise. Cons: 1. The room design is really odd. There's no separation between the wet and dry areas. It's the first time I've seen the washbasin directly behind the bed, and shower water even reaches the foot of the bed. 2. The beach directly in front of the hotel has two downsides: first, the water contains a lot of black mud and sand, and second, the sand on the beach is so coarse it hurts your feet. Other: If you don't want to go out for breakfast, definitely book a room with breakfast included, otherwise, 108 RMB per person is really painful. Luckily, the butler was thoughtful enough to send over some fruit.

2024/04/05-08 Park Plaza Hotel in Nankunshan in Guangdong The hotel's meals are truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in China! They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time. After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!! The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻 The staff were also so polite and friendly!! Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were .. Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining... Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there. There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring! Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings... I really hope one day I can go again!! But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

The best beachfront hotel in Shuangyue Bay! The salt crystal design is top-notch, and our room had a huge balcony directly facing the sea. We could watch the sunrise over the ocean right from our bed. It was super clean, and the butler was incredibly responsive. Guests get free entry to the reef bar, which is fantastic for photos. Parking is convenient if you're driving. We'll definitely be back!

Our stay at the Seaworld Seaview Room in Xunliao Bay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless and well-equipped. It's just a few minutes' walk down to the beach, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The value for money was incredible, and the service was warm and attentive. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next visit.

Facilities: Very complete. The hot spring water was so relaxing, and my skin felt incredibly smooth afterwards. I slept wonderfully that night. Cleanliness: Extremely clean. Since it's a new hot spring hotel, it was genuinely spotless and very comfortable. Environment: The environment is lovely and beautiful. When soaking in the hot springs, the outdoor lighting was just right – not too bright, so you don't feel exposed, making it perfect for a girls' trip or a romantic date with your boyfriend. Service: The service attitude was excellent. Every staff member I saw smiled and nodded hello, always asking if I needed any help. Plus, there are local farm-to-table restaurants nearby, and it's nice to take a walk in the countryside. Very pleasant. Definitely worth visiting again!

The weather was quite hot and stuffy, but the air conditioning in the room was nice and cool. However, the lobby and restaurant were a bit warm. The buffet at the restaurant was pretty good, and the recreational facilities were also decent. A big thank you to Xiao Hui, Xiao Gao, and Deng Sha for their help – they were all so dedicated! Definitely a five-star review!
