"We loved our stay. We were nervous because previous reviews said the furniture and carpets needed replacement. Not true! The ambiance they are going for is a rustic cabin or fishing lodge. As far as I could tell, just one chair in each room is „distressed“ meaning the chair was new but had been beat up to make it look old. The breakfast was very good. I‘ve never seen croissants at a hotel breakfast before. We especially appreciated that the rooms were truly clean-no stray hairs or flecks of junk to try to ignore. I thought the beds were perfect while my husband said they were a little too firm."
