"The location is good near from Tram. I was in Trip with some friends and we like to cook our own meal during trip. So the kitchen is really helpful. Just the the owner give me just one password for apartment but we booked for 2, but lucky the answer our email."

"Staff were friendly. I was offered a free bus pass for the duration of my stay, but I wasn't explained the other benefits straight away. Also, I was expecting tea/coffee facilities in my room, but I did not have any. Hotel situated close to station, so getting around was easy."

"Arrived in Basel a day early to begin a Rhine River cruise. Folks at Hotel D were nice, accommodating. Good directions and some site maps provided. The hotel was centrally located and not far (walk or tram) to where the rive boat dock was. Nice lobby and though small (standard for Europe) had a nice room. Over all clean and sufficiently supplied. Easy to walk around from to see old city sites and garner food. Basel is nice town to begin this part of Europe trip. Hotel D started us off on the right foot."

"Pros: ✔ Clean, high-quality bed linen and towels. Cons: ❌ The apartment reeked of cigarette smoke, it seems previous guests smoked everywhere, despite strict no-smoking policy. This was very unpleasant."

"Room was extremely outdated, shower covered in limescale, skirtings coming apart on the walls not to mention it was very hot. The tea & coffee is a decent touch but you’ve certainly paid the price for it as it’s expensive to stay. No staff what so ever, I unfortunately injured my foot badly on holiday & asked through the external buzzer if someone could help me with my case down the steps they said no that no one was available. States you get a BaselCard on arrival - I didn’t. No housekeeping - apparently you need to put a card on the door for it - I had no idea again as there is no staff to run you through anything on arrival. Upon me telling them this they responded the hotel is not newly renovated but well kept (limescale & departing skirtings does not seem well kept to me) and the room was superior room and enjoyed by guests (wouldn’t like to see the rest of them then) That they do not offer a luggage service (I didn’t not ask for this I had already struggled from my room on the 4 th floor all the way down to the lobby myself - I simply needed help out the front door as there are around 10 steps and I only had use of one foot!) Just told me to leave a review so here it is. Poor attitude, poor hotel - Hostel with hotel prices"

"On the offchance we went to Les Trois Rois in Basel for a break during the visit of some friends and the welcome was outstanding. We were ushered to a wonderful spot in the lounge and ordered coffees/teas (a superb selection) and something sweet to revive us on a wet afternoon. The service was excellent and we all enjoyed this break from the weather outside at a very reasonable cost. Our thanks to everyone."

"Stayed here for a week. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location, just a walk away to tram and bus station. The best thing was, International guests got Basel Card for free transportation within the city. Will comeback and stay at this hotel again if I i hv the opportunity."
