"Years ago, I passed by Junlan but couldn't stay there. This time, I finally got to experience the Junlan I'd been longing for during my trip to Hainan. The room was clean and tidy, and my family and I had such a great time swimming in the pool right outside our door. The hotel provides golf cart service, which is very convenient. When the weather is good, the public pools are absolutely stunning. Lounging by the beach, watching the waves, is another kind of joy! The hotel's breakfast was delicious, and the Chinese restaurant also had great food at reasonable prices. We tried a highly-rated restaurant outside the hotel that we found on Dazhong Dianping, but the food there was nowhere near as good as the hotel's. Oh, and the hotel's shower gel and lotion smell wonderful!"

"The sea view was absolutely stunning, and my kids loved it! Head up to the 7th floor rooftop for an even more amazing sunrise and sunset experience. The front desk service was excellent too; they were very prompt with printing and opening doors for us. It's a testament to their popularity that there's a constant stream of guests at the front desk, even at this time of year. The surrounding area, a Tanka fishing village, has a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe that we really enjoyed. In the evening, we could stroll along the boardwalk on the opposite beach and even saw some 'catch-the-sea' aunties (women foraging for seafood). The only minor drawback was that the cleanliness could have been a little better."

"This apartment truly exceeded my expectations. I was upgraded to an unbeatable sea view, which was absolutely stunning. I initially booked two nights but ended up extending for an additional night, even sacrificing a night from my Sanya trip. The Diamond Coast development, where the apartment is located, has direct access to the beach. The sand is fine, there's no commercial development, so it's very clean and uncrowded. At low tide, a natural beach pool appears nearby, perfect for collecting seashells. The apartment itself is in great condition, and the butler service was excellent. I've already recommended it to several friends. Staying here during the summer was such great value for money; I honestly didn't want to leave. If I get the chance to visit Lingshui again, I will definitely come back here."

"The service was very attentive. We received a fruit plate upon check-in and a souvenir upon departure. The hotel also provided tools for catching starfish, which we used to go to the nearby Monkey Island. We had a blast catching starfish! The view from the ocean-view room was absolutely stunning. The beach was literally within reach. You could see the ocean from your bed and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. We drove in and parked directly on the beach, which was very relaxing even in the car. However, there are fishermen drying seafood nearby, so those with odor sensitivity should be careful (it didn't bother us in the room). From the hotel, walk down the road and you'll find the Xincun Night Market diagonally across the street. There's a lot of delicious food, and you'll also see many shared electric bikes along the road, making it very convenient for both food and accommodation. A reminder for those driving: there are two roads in the hotel navigation. One of them is currently being dug up, making it inaccessible. I've drawn a route (P9). Follow the arrows. The beach parking lot is at the end. Finally, I'd like to offer a suggestion to the hotel: the hotel door is a bit soundproof. You can hear people talking outside and even the children playing in the hallway above. I hope they can install some soundproofing measures, such as tape."

"This is an amazing value-for-money seaside B&B! My friends all thought I was abroad. I'm so glad I booked such a great room every day, I just want to stay home and not go out at all, haha! Environment: We stayed in Lingshui for six days, and every time we opened the curtains, the sea view was absolutely stunning. The scenery was amazing, beautiful both on cloudy and sunny days, especially the orange sea and the sunset. There's a beach downstairs for beachcombing, and there's also a small swimming pool and swings—fun and great for taking photos. Cleanliness: There was room service every day, and I especially want to praise the cleaning ladies—they were incredibly attentive and responsible. Although it's a B&B, it has hotel-like management; the room was clean and tidy every day, which made me feel great. Facilities: The whole room has smart home features; the Xiaodu smart speaker can turn the lights on and off, and draw the curtains—super convenient and hassle-free. Service: The front desk is on duty 24 hours a day, and the service is excellent. They can lend you electric bikes, help with parking and moving cars, and solve all sorts of problems, big and small. They even helped us get rid of the large cockroach that flew into our open balcony—thank you so much! The only inconvenience is staying in a village; passing other vehicles during rush hour can be difficult and traffic can be congested. However, the village isn't large, so it's manageable. Eating is very convenient; there are several good seafood restaurants in the village, and the seafood is very fresh. You can borrow an electric scooter from the front desk to eat. Zhao Yiming, a pharmacy, and even a local Shanghai auntie (hahaha) are also quite convenient. I really didn't want to leave when the holiday ended; I wish I could have stayed a few more nights! 😭"

"This was my first time visiting Lingshui, and I chose the Shanshui Yunjian Hotel. The owner, a native of Northeast China, was incredibly welcoming. He recommended places to eat and have fun in great detail, suggesting we could explore them all in a day. The hotel was very comfortable upon arrival; the beach was right outside, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. The sea-view rooms were especially comfortable. Nearby attractions include a food street, Monkey Island, Daidai Island, and the Tanka fish farms – all worth visiting. The hotel is very close to these places, just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient. I also experienced a truly unforgettable typhoon (Kujira) here – a Category 14 typhoon! 🤣🤣🤣 It seemed to be the strongest typhoon in 40 years! 🌀 I was a little scared before the typhoon hit, but the few hours from 7 pm to midnight on the 24th were truly thrilling. The waves were raging, the wind was howling, and there was thunder and lightning. I was staying on the 5th floor, and the wind was shaking the building constantly. I was terrified the wind would blow the building away, and we'd be shark food! Hahaha, I didn't dare sleep all night, and I stuffed my ears with paper. I was terrified of the wind; it was incredibly frightening. The owner was wonderful; he hadn't slept all night either and kept comforting us. The safety measures were excellent, and the building was very sturdy; nothing happened to us. It was my first time experiencing something like this, so it was understandably scary. Thankfully, the owner was there to comfort and encourage us! 👍👍👍 Amazing! We safely left the island and returned to Chengdu this morning, the 26th! I've been through a lot now, 😆😆😆 Next time the weather is good, I'll definitely stay here again and choose this hotel again! Superb! 👍👍👍 100% positive review."

"They advertised afternoon tea with the stay, but when we checked in in the afternoon, it wasn't offered. When we asked about it in the evening, they said it was past the time. We were told for the next day it would depend on occupancy. The front desk is super far from the room, not even in the same building. We asked for some sand-digging tools, but they wouldn't deliver them to the room; we had to walk a long way to get them ourselves. If I had known, I would have stayed at Qinhe; at least there, the front desk and rooms are in the same building. The sand at Clearwater Bay is indeed fine and soft, like flour, but the ocean water here is really dirty, and the waves are huge, completely unsuitable for swimming."

"This was my first time staying in a villa with a Shang, Zhou, or Warring States period theme; it had a very historical feel and was very grand. Each bedroom was spacious, especially the master bedroom on the second floor with a fantastic sea view. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with a typhoon, so we couldn't go into the sea, but it was still a unique experience. The butlers were very attentive and considerate. My friends all enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back!"
