The hotel strictly controls guest traffic, only allowing registered guests inside, making it very private and orderly. Even during peak season, it never feels crowded. Rooms: The rooms are incredibly spacious, starting from 80sqm, with elegant and grand Southeast Asian tropical decor. The standard pool room offers a great location, fantastic views, and plenty of fun. Double vanities, Dyson hairdryers, and coffee machines truly elevate the quality. Beach: The hotel's private beach is just a few minutes' walk away. It's wide, flat, and features a beach buffet available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The white sand is fine and soft, making it child-friendly. There's also the famous lighthouse and a seaside chapel, perfect for photos and creating a wonderful ambiance. It's an excellent spot to watch the sunset. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast at Disha Village Restaurant offers a rich variety, balancing both Chinese and Western options. You can also order à la carte. They have signature lobster wontons, local Hainan noodles, smoked salmon, seafood congee, freshly squeezed juices, desserts, and a noodle station. Open until 11 am, it's perfect for a relaxed brunch after sleeping in. The food pickup is well-organized. Butler Service: Raffles' signature butler service truly lives up to its reputation. My family and I experienced warm and personalized butler service, not just generic WeChat group messages. Since we were celebrating an anniversary, our butler, Chloe, arranged a full set of ceremonial touches and a hand-drawn card. Throughout our three-day stay, she provided thoughtful updates on weather changes and hotel activities. Overall, the hotel service is gentle and courteous, especially the excellent service. It's particularly suitable for family vacations, offering a quiet and orderly environment. Highly recommended!

My daughter absolutely loved the attached swimming pool, go-karts, and the petting zoo. I was also very satisfied with the hotel's service; the staff were friendly and courteous. Our butler proactively asked about our needs, and their responses were quick and efficient. Highly commendable! We had a wonderful four-day stay here.

SSiqierOur first stop for the holiday was the Indigo Sanya Clearwater Bay, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Before we even checked in, our butler, Summer, sent us an introduction to the hotel and recommendations for local food, which really built up our excitement. I have to give a huge shout-out to my butler! First, she upgraded our room, then, knowing I was on my period, she brought me brown sugar ginger tea. On our last night, she surprised me with cake and red wine. Oh my goodness, how can someone be so wonderful? My chat history with her is just full of 'thank yous' 🥹. The rafting was super fun, the pool was great for a dip, the gym was perfect for a run, and the public areas were beautiful for photos, no matter where you shot. Lying in bed and looking out at the sea was incredibly relaxing! Oh, and I also fell in love with the hotel's umbrellas – they're super cute. I asked for the purchase details and plan to have one shipped home.

The beach is incredibly soft and fine, and the famous 'singing sand' truly lived up to its reputation. The best part was how few people there were during the off-season; the entire beach felt like our private backyard. We splurged on a balcony suite with a private pool, and at 155 square meters, there was plenty of space for the whole family to spread out and relax. Waking up to watch the sunrise over the sea from bed was magical, and in the evenings, we'd soak in the pool on the balcony while waiting for the 'orange sea' sunset – the colors were beyond words. The kids absolutely loved the Kids' Club. With activities like making cookies, catching sand crabs, and picking coconuts, their schedule was packed. Our four-year-old didn't want to leave, and the heated pool with a slide was a constant hit. I especially have to commend our butler, Parker. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some negative reviews before our trip, but those worries were completely unfounded. He provided a detailed itinerary in advance, responded instantly to messages, and made dining so easy. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and we could order local Lingshui sour noodles via delivery, paired with a refreshing salted starfruit drink – pure bliss. However, seeing the satisfied smiles on my family's faces, I feel the trip wasn't a total loss. As a returning guest, I'm writing this review because I care deeply about this place, and that's why I'm being so critical. Let's start with the warm highlights. The Chinese restaurant maintained its high standards, offering both delicious dishes and reassuring service. Special thanks to Chef He and Sister Sue; they weren't just professional but also provided truly warm service. Catching up with them is always pleasant and fun. Luna, the cultural tourism officer, was incredibly hardworking, diligent, and had an excellent attitude, consistently providing warm and thoughtful service during our stay. And the housekeeping auntie in our room, who silently guarded our private space with remarkable efficiency and impeccable cleanliness. It's these shining individuals who truly embody the meaning of 'Welcome Home' (Jia, the hotel's name). However, the shortcomings exposed during this stay were equally glaring, even somewhat disappointing. Firstly, the concierge service: sometimes staff were too busy chatting to offer timely assistance to ladies and children. There were communication issues at the front desk; the duty manager seemed unable to identify problems and lacked proactivity and professionalism. The breakfast restaurant's overall efficiency was low, and staff seemed to have a 'going through the motions' attitude. Compared to before, they were less enthusiastic about recommending specialty drinks, etc. I'd suggest they take a leaf out of the Edition's restaurant book when it comes to work efficiency. Furthermore, the kids' summer camp organized by the recreation department was a mess in terms of reservations and procedures, completely disregarding the genuine needs of children who wished to participate multiple times. The Thai restaurant's taste was significantly worse than before, with awkward, unauthentic modifications and sour, astringent dessert toppings. The safety hazard of engineering staff driving electric carts without 'giving way to pedestrians' was truly alarming. And when the lounge's live music was quietly canceled, that signature Capella evening ambiance also faded considerably. Capella Hainan once planted so many beautiful memories in our hearts, which is why we're so bothered by these flaws now. We're willing to lay out these issues because deep down, we still have hope for this place. We sincerely hope the hotel addresses these pain points and doesn't continue to 'lie flat'. We look forward to seeing your progress and a refreshed, more confident Capella Hainan during our next reunion.

GGuest UserOkay, I think this hotel is absolutely fantastic. First off, it's in Xiangshui Bay, and compared to the prices in Qingshui Bay, you can get a much better deal here. Plus, since there are fewer people, the hotel essentially has its own private beach. While the sand might not be as fine as Qingshui Bay's, it's still really good overall. And from the balcony of the sea-view rooms, you get a breathtaking vista of the clear blue sea with gentle waves, which is incredibly refreshing. The front desk staff was also incredibly enthusiastic. The lady at the front desk even proactively added me on WeChat, so I could just message her directly with any requests. The hotel's facilities are quite impressive, I'd say they're at least four-star quality, almost five-star. Initially, my room didn't include breakfast, but the staff member kindly arranged for me to have two days of complimentary breakfast, which was also quite good. They also have a billiards room, a gym, and a swimming pool. The main building houses various types of rooms, and surrounding it are different villas. Honestly, I feel like staying in a sea-view room offers better value for money than a villa. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!

Although there are disposable cotton slippers, it is really inconvenient. You have to take a shower barefoot. The navigation is not very specific. I hope to reset the address and unify the entrance. The address of the navigation is at another entrance, but the door of that entrance is closed at night.

IIngeliThis is a very nice hotel. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bedding and pillows just right. There was also a great balcony., I would have liked a relaxing chair on there, but the furniture was okay. The service is excellent, the people are very friendly and extremely helpful. The pool is nice and clean, the yard is very pretty. The gym is a bit outdated and could do with a makeover and a location other than the dark cellar. Nearby is a pretty beach, a lovely park and an entertaining mall. If you take one of the siden street, you’ll find local shops. There is a bit of noise coming from the streets at night, but if you close the doors, it’s not too much of a bother and stops around 12:00 PM. Airconditioning is working really well. Had a great time, will visit again!
