Beaufort County Beach Hotels

Wonderful hotel within walking distance to the river and historic neighborhoods. They kept my bag for a few hours while I wandered around downtown after check out. The hotel gave me two vouchers for free drinks/snacks at their attached cafe which was wonderful. They also put free chocolate chip cookies on my door handle! The only downside for me was that the room had a strong (but not unpleasant) perfume fragrance and sometimes you could hear the traffic at night. But it's worth the location and hey, better than smelling like bleach. I'd stay here again 👌

The front desk was always pleasant and very friendly. Their breakfast was hot; however, it was hard to get any food because of children running back and forth. A good idea would have a sign up to have children under age 12 to be accompanied by adults. Other than that we would stay here again.

Everything was nice. The service was great and the hotel was clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Really enjoyed our stay. I only booked for one night though this app on accident and paid less by just walking to front desk. So I would call the hotel before booking through the app

This hotel is in nice location in town, easy to get on highway. The room is much bigger than most of holiday inn, with big sofa, , refrigerator, microwave. It’s about 50 minutes drive to nearby Hilton Head Island, less than 2 hours to Savannah. Savannah is a beautiful ancient city. It’s worth a visit I’m downtown area. I highly recommend this hotel to my friends.

What can I say about the Hampton inn absolutely nothing negative from the pool to the energy of the guest and the staff oh my God it is amazing and the cookies that they put out for their guest guys is amazing you should try it hopefully you guys get a cookie before my husband goes and eat them up the next time lol however I did enjoy my stay I will be back soon book if you can!! Trust me you won't regret it and yes the rooms are updated!!! There is a $10 incidental fee that you will get back as long as you don't tear up their belongings so as long as you do that you'll have your $10 back right away depending on your bank and you won't regret it have a great time everyone!

Faucets aren’t affixed to the walls/counters; pulling the pipe through the wall. Stains on walls, sloppy paint jobs, and too much/wrong caulking makes the bathroom look like trash. The entire hotel smelled like fragrance and chemicals trying to mask mold and moisture. Was afraid to even use the ice machine or attend breakfast. Front desk lady was pleasant though and Internet worked.

Keys didn’t work at first. Had to go remagnetize the key, that’s annoying when you’re tired. Lots of loitering out front. Most notable was that there were barely any guests. At about 10:30 pm, someone was trying to open the door. The top part was locked. I called the front desk and they came to apologize for trying to give someone else the room. How could that happen when we just checked in and they knew my room number because they just remagnitized my key? That’s shady and unacceptable.

Staff was all very friendly but my room had no towels or toilet paper till hours after booking in.. but nice location and pool was clean if they had some breakfast that would be nice 2.. so sorry red roof
