My lighter died and they promptly brought me a new one. They also locked our gate for us when we forgot to do it. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, so the location is perfect if you want to do some cultural exploring. The villa we rented was very well equipped with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a half bathroom with a toilet and sink. The bathtubs/springs were great for soaking in. The swimming pool is not deep, however, so don’t expect to “swim”. It’s a nice little area to cool off in though, if the weather is hot. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals and clean up. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, the room is very clean. However, I did find a few stray hairs in one of the bathrooms when we first arrived. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful stay.
