Hotels in Xidan and Financial Street Area, Beijing

For our stay in Beijing we did choose the Le Joy Hotel and it was a key ingredient to make the trip fantastic. The Hotel is perfectly located to visit Beijing's most important attractions. The nearby Xidan station gives access to lines 1 and 4, providing an easy way to reach Tien'anmen, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace as well as walking street areas such as as TQuianmen, Dashilan, Wangfujing and Shishahai. Our room was spacious, perfectly clean and comfortable. We often have problems with hotel beds but not in this case and at the end of our daily long walks we enjoyed a very good rest. The restaurant offers an outstanding breakfast with a large buffet with a variety of food and drinks, all of excellent quality. Last but not least, the personnel was very friendly and helpful, supporting us in bookings and providing us with information. In particular Xuanxuan/Candice supported us also through WeChat all along our stay. I strongly recommend Le Joy Hotel for a trip to Beijing!

This hotel is located right next to the Meili Shopping Mall, across from Beijing West Railway Station. It's only a 5-minute walk to the station entrance via an underpass. The best part is the incredible price – amazing value for money! The lobby is very spacious and the overall environment is great. While the rooms aren't huge, they're fully equipped with everything you need and are clean and tidy, more than sufficient for a business trip. Downstairs, there are tons of food options, from cafes and snacks to BBQ. After visiting Beijing so many times, this is the first time I've found such a convenient hotel.

I booked this hotel for my friends, and they came back absolutely delighted! The hotel upgraded them to a suite, and the attention to detail was exceptional – there were even bath salts next to the tub. The front desk staff was incredibly patient and helpful, even bringing their takeout orders directly to the room. The check-out time was also very accommodating, and the hotel is conveniently located near the subway. The breakfast was more than enough, really good. They even received a farewell gift when they checked out, I think it was a box of tea.

I booked a standard windowless room, which was quite small. The price was a bit higher compared to other Atour hotels, but given its extremely convenient location, I didn't mind too much. The most frustrating part was that my room was right next to the laundry room and changing room. I was kept awake all night by the sounds of the washing machine being turned on and off, and clothes being retrieved. It sounded like a lot of force was needed to open or close the doors, causing a loud 'bang.' The noise continued into the morning, with constant cleaning sounds right outside my door. The staff were excellent and very responsive, but I'll definitely never book a room near the laundry and changing rooms again.

Finding such a great Atour hotel in Beijing was a pleasant surprise, especially since it's their new 4.0 WILD series. First off, the hotel's location is excellent, making it very easy to get a taxi. It's also not far from the Line 1 and Line 16 subway stations, which makes getting anywhere very convenient! It's also super close to Yuyuantan Park, just about a 600-meter walk. The room's cleanliness was meticulously done; it was spotless and very tidy. The room itself was quite spacious, with a small table, and the sunlight streaming through the window made it feel particularly cozy! The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toilet worked well. For food delivery, a robot brings your order, which is super convenient. The front desk staff were also excellent, very patient, and provided quick service! The hotel breakfast was also fantastic, with unique flavors, especially the Old Beijing Zha Jiang Mian, which was delicious – even better than takeout. It was a very enjoyable trip, and I'm very satisfied! 👍

Close to the subway station, which makes getting around very convenient. The front desk staff were also very friendly. The room was clean, and I liked the separated shower and toilet. The only thing was that the water pressure in the shower was quite strong; it sounded like a high-pressure washer when I was showering.

The room is located in a small courtyard, with a wonderful family atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and the environment is beautiful. The bed was especially clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The Marshall speakers were super nice, and I especially liked the cats and the sunroom where you can sunbathe. Amenities: Excellent, with Marshall speakers, Panasonic air conditioning, and a dehumidifier. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Very beautiful and comfortable, with lots of flowers and plants. Service: The butler service was excellent, and you could ask them for any questions. Welcome Fruit and Drinks: The room was stocked with seasonal fruit, and the fruit on the living room table was also edible. Tea Break in the Sunshine Glass Garden: The century-old Qinglinchun jasmine tea was fragrant, and the butler would serve you some fruit or snacks. It was so relaxing to sit on the terrace and enjoy tea.

Small yet beautiful, a Hutong hotel with an oriental Zen vibe! Reconstructing Xishi Hutong Hidden House, Xisi, Xishi – the clever name immediately captivated me. As a southerner, besides my obsession with Beijing's snow, another deep-seated fascination is Beijing's hutongs. Although the hotel is small, it's very comfortable and peaceful to stay in. Room service is also more prompt and attentive. I love sitting by the door, watching the light and shadows shift from morning till dusk; I love looking up at the ”a line of clear blue sky above the hutong” on a clear day; I love climbing the spiral staircase to watch a hutong sunset, from orange hues to blue tones... It's very convenient for shopping in Xidan CBD or taking a Xisi Citywalk. The nearby Line 4 also offers easy access to many of Beijing's iconic landmarks. I look forward to staying at Hutong Hidden House again once the hotel restaurant opens.

• The Hanting Hotel has a simple yet elegant environment, with good soundproofing and complete facilities. It offers great value for money and I highly recommend it! The hygiene is impeccable, and the service is attentive and efficient. My stay exceeded expectations, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. My experience at Hanting was fantastic! The lobby is elegant and clean, the bedding is comfortable for a good night's sleep, and the breakfast offers a rich variety that left me satisfied. It's incredibly good value for money, and I'll choose Hanting again for my next trip! • As a business traveler, I understand other business travelers, and Hanting truly delivers on ”unfailing reliability.” After a long day out, returning to the room felt just like coming home – everything was ready. The disposable slippers were thick and comfortable, the large desk in the room allowed me to spread out my laptop and get work done, and at night, I could even set up a late-night snack and watch a movie on the projector for complete relaxation. The Wi-Fi was just okay.

I was looking for a place to stay near Peking Union Medical College Hospital in Xidan, and this hotel was close by. However, the environment was extremely poor. The staff provided good service, but I haven't stayed in a hotel with such a bad environment in over twenty years. The rooms were quite small, and the soundproofing was terrible, as you can imagine. Still, it's in a prime location, very close to Xidan, which might be a reason for younger people to choose it.
