The room was clean and had a small living area, perfect for entertaining friends. If you're sensitive to cold, you can turn on the air conditioning. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who helped with luggage whenever we came and went. I even forgot medicine in the fridge and had to go back for it; the front desk attendant quickly helped me retrieve it from the room. Location: Shichahai is right outside, making it super convenient for eating and exploring. They also have two adorable cats, Dou Dou and Dou Bao. The only minor downside is that you have to walk to Gulou Street to catch a taxi. But that's the price you pay for experiencing the hutongs and pedestrian streets, which is totally worth it!

First off, the hotel's location is excellent—super convenient for getting around and the area is really lively. I was also very happy with the room amenities and supplies; the TV was huge and the underfloor heating was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was rich and delicious, and the staff were warm and always willing to help with questions. A special shout-out to the lovely lady at the front desk! We were catching an early high-speed train and worried about traffic, so we checked out very early in the morning. She gave us some snacks for our journey and even specifically told us which subway route to take. So grateful! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

The Qin Mansion boasts an elegant and unique new Chinese style decoration. Our room had a terrace, a balcony, and an Arhat bed. The environment was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay and a great experience. 👍 Highly recommend it to everyone.

This a courtyard-style hotel nestled in an old *hutong*, offering a wonderfully authentic local atmosphere. The rooms retain their classical structure with original wooden beams and pillars. It's very close to Houhai and Shichahai, truly embodying the idea of ”great reclusion in the city” – a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. **Facilities**: There's no elevator, only wooden stairs, so if you have heavy luggage, you'll need to carry it up manually. However, the front desk staff are incredibly helpful and assisted me with my bags. There's also a microwave at the front desk for heating food. **Hygiene**: Generally quite clean. **Environment**: A resident cat roams around the front desk area, adding a charming, feline touch and a fluffy ambiance to the hotel. **Service**: The service attitude was excellent. Since I'm sensitive to noise, they kindly arranged a quieter room for me, which allowed me to rest very well.👍

The shower's glass door didn't close properly, causing water to spray out during showers. The sink faucet was positioned too far forward, making it awkward to wash hands and face. Also, the toilet paper holder was poorly placed, causing the entire roll to easily fall to the floor. The floors had quite a bit of dust and hair. On the plus side, the location is near a city center subway station, making it very convenient for visiting popular attractions.

Facilities: Though small, it has everything you need. The heating was comfortable, and hot water was instant, which was great for someone from the South like me. Hygiene: The amenities were new, and the bedding especially deserves a mention – it was incredibly comfortable, truly five-star quality. Environment: It's super close to the subway station, just a 3-minute walk. With both Line 2 and Line 8 intersecting there, getting to any attraction is super convenient. Service: The front desk service was thoughtful and polite. Every day they offered free pear soup or brown sugar water. The hotel also had many stamps, bead stringing, rubbings, and other DIY crafts available for guests to try for free.

This guesthouse is a classic 'siheyuan' (courtyard house) with a lovely ambiance. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. In the courtyard, you can see people playing chess, playing musical instruments, and enjoying tea. It had snowed the day before, making the scenery absolutely beautiful. It's close to all the nearby attractions. The only minor inconvenience is that it's located in a 'hutong' (alleyway), so you have to walk a bit, but it's a great way to experience old Beijing hutong life!

This was a last-minute trip, and the room I booked was excellent. It was well-appointed and very clean. The front desk staff even helped with our luggage. The hotel features a charming retro style. Its location is superb, being very close to attractions; Houhai is just a few minutes' walk away. Conveniently, right outside the entrance, you'll find Zigongyuan Yogurt, Emei Restaurant, and Huguosi Snacks. It's a truly fantastic spot, and I'll definitely return on my next visit.
