Excellent customer service as soon as you walk in, English speaking and friendly. The room was very nice and came with a bathtub with a shower head and tap. The buffet wasn't great, but it wasn't bad, some decent choices, but more Chinese than Western food if any. The hotel is a few minutes from Xiaobailou Subway Station and it's pretty central for downtown travel - restaurants, the scenic areas etc. Overall, a great experience, place and people. Highly recommend

St Regis lived up to it's reputation for service that goes above and beyond.....we had a problem upon arrival -:the fridge was missing. abd the spa wasn't working. This was disappointing as it was one of tbe reasons we had booked that hotel. Not only did they rectify the fridge within an hour/( minutes?), they also sent up a lovely tray with local treats and they offered us breakfast on the house. We could n't get the spa experience, but felt the manager, Frank, did his very best to make our visit special, and we were so appreciative. We would definitely book again, but know to check a few things beforehand in case the website is not up to date. At any rate, StRegis stands by its service and the manager was excellent. Kudos to Frank Wang!

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

We stayed in the Deluxe King room with a city view and had an excellent stay! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. Every single staff member was unbelievably professional and kind, from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff. This hotel is in a GREAT location for tourists (near heaps of great restaurants and bars - scenic area and Heping Road shopping) or business travellers (I was attending a conference at the Meijiang conference centre) and has really lovely big modern rooms. The downsides - there is only 1 lift for all 10 floors (which are dispersed throughout 24 floors) of the hotel so the wait for the lift can be frustrating, also the reception staff struggled with the fact I had made 2 separate bookings (to separate work from personal travel) for the same room even though it was carefully explained in Chinese and a note should have been recorded against the room - instead it meant my room wasn’t serviced properly on my last full day and also my room keycard was deactivated. The irritations aside, this is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again as the rooms really are so nice.

It’s a one-ticket ticket, super convenient! Room: YYDS on the 12th floor on the top floor of the main building. The view is super beautiful. The room is in European style. I like it very much. Entertainment Center: Secret rooms, VR, cinemas, KTV, etc. are all here, and there is also a naughty castle. Just a reminder, the KTV is really dark and the lights need to be improved~ Sports Center: Go-karts, indoor sports, various balls, and swimming pools are all here. I have experienced go-karts, but I have never driven them with children. The facilities for indoor sports are very complete. There is also an extension activity here. The main building is more Western-style, with cold food and more seafood. The hot springs are more Chinese-style, with mostly hot food and more people. Personally, I think it’s more convenient to eat here if you’re bringing children to the hot springs. Racecourse: You cannot ride by yourself. The staff needs to lead the horse around the racecourse. You can choose between pony and big horse. A horse riding ticket. If an adult rides with a child, the adult needs an accompanying fee. In addition, you can choose to live in the main building or the hot spring house. The hot spring house does not require leaving the hot spring center. The main building and the hot spring center are two separate buildings.

I am a fan of IHG hotels. Stay there for a night and when I got my room there is a slight hiccups where the room wasn’t turned over from the previous guest BUT thank you for the fast assistance from the front desk team who managed to move me immediately and apologetic about the situation (which very appreciated) it was a sweet gesture and their professionalism top notch. Bed were confortable but aircon slightly warm perhaps due to winter-ish season that the ac had only heather programed. Breakfast was delicious. As i have some diet restrictions. The F&B team were accomodating. Honestly, my short stay was feeling super warm. Everyone there knows how to serve their customers well. Will defo comeback. Thank you!!!

The waiter told me that the back kitchen didn't see the order at first! I'm drunk too! The checkout plus service fee will cost more than two hundred! I won't comment on the taste! This hotel is in a GREAT location for tourists (near heaps of great restaurants and bars - scenic area and Heping Road shopping) or business travellers (I was attending a conference at the Meijiang conference centre) and has really lovely big modern rooms. The downsides - there is only 1 lift for all 10 floors (which are dispersed throughout 24 floors) of the hotel so the wait for the lift can be frustrating, also the reception staff struggled with the fact I had made 2 separate bookings (to separate work from personal travel) for the same room even though it was carefully explained in Chinese and a note should have been recorded against the room - instead it meant my room wasn’t serviced properly on my last full day and also my room keycard was deactivated. The irritations aside, this is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again as the rooms really are so nice.

I decided to go to Tianjin on the spur of the moment and looked at hotels immediately. I mainly cared about the brand, price, transportation and location. I have stayed at Orange Crystal before. The smart experience is very good. Looking at the subway entrance, I took the high-speed rail to the South Station. Line 3 is a direct ride of about 30 minutes. It is very convenient! The hotel itself is also located in Jinwan Plaza and adjacent to Tianjin Station. It is very lively at night! The service attitude of the hotel ladies is also superb. The robot delivery is very considerate!

Good choice hotel. Can easily get to places of interest from here. Cheap and clean hotel. Counter staff are helpful, cleaner are friendly and done a gd job. Clean room n aircon are new n quiet. Only not suitable for light sleeper as it near road n can clearly hear everything outside. Very near to jinwan square metro. You will be very surprise that their local esp those metro staff are not familiar with their area. The staff direct me to Heping metro which took me 15-20 mins walk to this hotel. Instead, jinwan metro station is just 2 mins walk from this hotel. Behind hotel there's a bridge which you can access to a long river and walk to 古文化街。 Along the bridge you can see their local senior life are so relaxing. Singing karaoke, dancing and fishing....i

I really appreciate the very strategic location, it's just few hundred metres away from many famous attractions, such as little Italy. Or if you're looking for halal food, there are many muslim restaurants too. It's also very near to station too, the hotel's room is on 37 to 51 fl, really help with the magnificent views. Staffs are friendly, room's clean, nothing to complain about. I strongly recommend this hotel, as myself would definitely go back here.

因為這個酒店，對天津的第一印象超級好，到了給前台打電話，前台親自出門指引停車位，登記的時候看到身份證第二天生日，多送了份早餐（菜品豐富美味），太細心太温暖了，每次遇到工作人員都會熱情的打招呼，還會詢問顧客意見，服務到位～房間很乾凈，也很智能現代化，窗簾是電動的，窗外景色很贊，超清巨屏因為有寶寶就沒看，喜歡加熱的毛巾桿，設定55度，乾的很快，水飲料茶都是房間贈送的，可以選擇常温和冷藏的，重點表揚一樓的兩個機器人，簡直是哄娃神器，2歲半的娃每次都會跟着它進電梯，盯着它看好久，再也不到處亂跑了，在車上還心心念唸的一直説長方體和正方體，到了下一個酒店進去就找機器人，可惜沒有，真的沒想到在景區有性價比這麼高的酒店，以後來天津必住這裏！

I'm giving this 5 stars because this very budget, very small room was everything I needed for a short 4 night solo stay, right by the Hai He (river) in downtown Tianjin. The service was straightforward and professional and even though my room was very inexpensive, I was treated well by everyone. The location is perfect for Tianjin tourism, very close to the lovely Italian section with its many super places to eat, and a short walk to the main train station, Century clock and many of the river's best views.Large malls and lots more shopping and sightseeing is across the river but the nearest bridge is very close, and the shopping and so on available as soon as you're ACROSS. It's an older hotel, and that shows, but the price is commensurate with that, so no complaint for me: everything still works well and the bed (good for one, not two) was very comfortable. Plus, even though it's small, the desk was useful and had good power sources, very close. And, unlike many budget rooms, this one has a window, and a good view. I've stayed here a few times before, and I will happily stay here again.
