Here are some additional rules and if you do not agree to them, and while we understand, this may not be the best rental for you. Renting constitutes agreement.-Maximum capacity is 6 total, no more than 4 adults (13 and older), exceptions are per owner agreement before booking. Additions are $50/night and may be asked to terminate the rental depending on the situation. Please respect the owner's request on numbers of adults. The property is on a septic and well; and it is not designed to host a lot of people.-No children under the age of 13 allowed in the Hot Tub. Hot tub is Adult only. All the amenities are available for you to use, we just ask that you be mindful of what you have running all at the same time.There is no air conditioning unit here. It is very rare in our county to have one installed in a house (even brand-new builds!). The nights are cool in the summer so to cool the house off you can open all the windows and doors, then close them during the day and you stay nice and cool! There are fans provided to help blow the cool air through the cabin.We are at 9,200 feet in elevation — altitude sickness can occur but you can do things to prevent it and alleviate symptoms including: Taking a day to rest when you arrive. Drink extra water and stay well hydrated (avoiding alcohol will help). (The tap water is from natural spring water and is delicious and safe to drink.) Wear sunscreen, even when it is cool or cloudy.The spiral staircase is narrow and it can be challenging to cart large luggage up and down. We often keep our luggage on the main level.
