"The main reason why I chose this hotel was an on offer for Diamond user, on the app it was stated that I can check in from 10 am which was perfect. However the early check in was not guaranteed, I don't know whose responsibility is that, Trip.com or hotel. I tried to contact the hotel but it was almost impossible. When I arrived about 10.30 am the receptionist stated that no rooms are available but eventually I was given a room. The room was quite good, looked modern and clean, but there was a lot of hair in the bathroom drain and it smelled terribly of sewage. There is a lit of space to store clothes and luggage. The best thing for me it was quiet, there is no construction noise or loud music ( my room was on the second floor) so I was able to sleep well. There is hot water but the pressure is quite week. There is an iron and even an ironing board in the room, wow:) the staff at the reception are professional and friendly and speak English well. I got help with my suitcase as there is no elevator only narrow stairs."

Check-in convenience: Excellent, hotel pick-up and drop-off, great service. Safety: Very safe, highly recommend for Chinese travelers. Facilities: Very comprehensive, everything you need is here. Cleanliness: Very reliable. Didn't feel like the local islands had poor conditions, contrary to what I read online. Environment: Directly facing the beach with beautiful scenery. Service: Excellent, especially their manager, communication was flawless. I stayed here for one day and enjoyed: 1. Super delicious restaurant. Unlimited lobster (around 200 RMB for cheese lobster, which costs over 1500+ RMB on Hema Fresh). 2. Super cost-effective water activities (jet ski + Fishtank diving + dolphin chasing). 3. With the manager's help, I got a very favorable exchange rate. 4. I couldn't help but pay very generous tips both before and after my stay. Highly recommend for Chinese travelers. If you're coming to Malé, choose this place!!!

I booked Star Shell for very first time as a resident who working and living in Maldives via trip.com. Price is reasonable. The check in was quick and simple. Staff were very helpful. The room is lovely. However, if you are sensitive to the noise then I am not recommended, because you can hear the car noise from road. My room got lonely view far from sea and shade from tree. Very basic amenities provided as dental kit, bath amenities attached in bathroom. I wish to extend my stay directly with property as my bf able to fly to see me after his work, but as per property rules if you don’t have marriage certificate then it won’t be allowed to proceed. I understand, but nothing was mentioned so I won’t recommend to any expats in the Maldives. Overall just okay for transit night before fly out or to go other island.

Booked this as a transit hotel in Malé, and the room was surprisingly clean—exceeded my expectations! The service was absolutely five-star. Complimentary airport transfer: I'd arranged the free airport transfer with the hotel via email in advance. It only took about ten minutes to get to the airport, which was super convenient.

This was my first stay at this guesthouse. I booked it because the rate was very cheap, and you really get what you pay for. I paid USD 34 for an overnight stay (although we did not actually stay overnight, as we only needed the room for day use due to our late evening flight). The building does not have an elevator and the room is located on the second floor, which made it very difficult for guests with large luggage. There was construction next to my room, and unfortunately I was not able to rest before my flight. I was informed by the staff that it would only be until 4:00 PM, but the drilling and hammering continued until 6:00 PM. There were no toiletries provided; instead, there were some used toiletries left in the room. There was also a little unpleasant smell in the room.

Perhaps it's only worth booking a sea-view room at this hotel. The rooms in the middle don't have balconies, while those on the ends do, but they face other buildings just a meter away and there's ongoing construction. There are cafes on the ground floors, and even though I was on the 4th floor, the clatter of dishes, conversations, and shouting sounded as if it was all happening right in my room. This went on until 1 AM, and the noise started up again at 5 AM. So, getting proper rest was impossible. It's a very budget-friendly hotel, though.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Teagan Garden Hotel. It is actually more like a small motel rather than a hotel. Although the remodeling looks clean, everything else was disappointing. First, it is located in a residential area, and the surrounding neighborhood looks unsafe. There were men staring at us, and the roads were extremely dirty — much worse than I expected. The motel is actually called “Reagar Hotel” without the word “Garden,” which was confusing. The room was very tiny — you can barely squeeze between the bed and the bathroom. In addition, the hotel charged a $20 transfer fee. Breakfast was very limited: just two pieces of bread, one egg, two small sausages, and half a sour apple. There were no other options. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

The Hive beach was in a very good location next to the ocean, beach clubs, surfing and especially my favorite jetski, totally recommend. Staff are friendly, especially the lady. Hope to come back, thanks!

Stayed here for a night with my friend before we headed to the resorts. The exterior of the hotel looked nice and modern, and the receptionists helped us with our luggage. Checked in was 2/3pm and we arrived early, had to come back in a while since the room wasnt ready but not a big issue. Located next to the beach, we could easily walk over to the beach and shops. One thing would be how there was no hot water and we had to shower with cold water. And had also encountered a small cockroach... But overall the room was spacious, could easily have our luggage lying openly and still had space to walk around, and had an outdoor balcony (but shared with your neighbor, so will be awkward if you happen to see your neighbor outside when you open your curtains).
