"Our stay at Manyuan Moganshan Resort Villa completely exceeded our expectations! The Cloud Japanese Tatami Panoramic Suite was exquisitely designed, with natural wood tones and lattice sliding doors creating a truly Zen atmosphere. The room had excellent natural light, and the floor-to-ceiling windows brought the stunning mountain views right inside. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning was incredibly relaxing. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, providing detailed guidance from check-in to recommendations for local attractions. The villa's location is convenient, close to Yicun Scenic Area, making it easy to experience the charm of the small town on foot. "Good location. And could be an amazing hotel. The original design is very stylish but needs to be renewed. The swimming pool would be lovely if some of the tiles were not broken. Our favourite part was the communal area - could play pool, sofas and tables to chill at, very cosy. Lovely view from the balconies and the bathtub. Unfortunately the bathtub plug was broken. Would also recommend giving proper towels, as the single use ones are not enough if you’re using the pool as well."

"A hidden gem of a B&B in Xiantan Village, it looks just like something out of a Miyazaki fairy tale – so unique! We got upgraded to a dome room during the off-season, and I loved the tatami relaxation area and the balcony with breathtaking views. It would be even better if the private hot spring’s overhead cover could be removed and some small night lights added for extra ambiance! A big thank you to the thoughtful butler for their excellent care."

"A homestay with perfect service details. I chose this homestay with my friends when I came to Moganshan. The rooms are spacious and bright. Every corner shows the landlord's care and taste. The stay experience is very pleasant. Moreover, the homestay is very close to the Moganshan Scenic Area and very convenient. The homestay also has many entertainment facilities. I played mahjong with friends in the evening and set off some fireworks. It was so beautiful! After that, I tried the astronomical telescope to see the moon and stars! It was really beautiful. "The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was very warm and the view was amazing. So much light in the room. Location was good, and Didi can take you anywhere from there. And many hiking trails start there as well. The hosts were friendly, and breakfast was good. Suitable for vegetarians as well. Last thing, the room was exactly as pictured while booking."

"This was my first time visiting Moganshan, and I booked the Shangpo B&B based on Ctrip's ratings and reviews. I was really impressed by the welcome letter, which showed the owner is cultured and thoughtful, and it immediately heightened my expectations for this 'paradise on earth'... The B&B is nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, with a three-story, reddish-orange Tuscan-style exterior that exudes a vintage charm. It feels incredibly exotic being surrounded by the bamboo sea and mountains. The environment here is serene and peaceful, truly a 'paradise away from the hustle and bustle' as described in the welcome letter. The room was clean and elegant, offering mountain views right from the moment you open the door. Every detail exuded a subtle luxury. My favorite part was the artwork in the common areas – several Picasso-esque paintings by Dutch artists, paired with light luxury, simple European furniture, creating a striking visual contrast between modern and vintage that sparks a unique aesthetic romance. Both the Chinese and Western meals here were incredibly delicious, fresh, and exquisitely prepared. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner could all be customized to guests' requests; it truly felt like everyone was a VIP. The service at the B&B was also outstanding. Coffee and mineral water were provided free of charge and unlimited throughout the day! The housekeeper was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request. This is, without a doubt, the best-serviced B&B I've ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!"

"In early summer, even the mountain breeze tastes sweet! Every Mother's Day is just the right temperature, neither too hot nor too cold, so this year we chose to spend Mother's Day in the mountains for Mom! We were lucky enough to find a guesthouse run by Sister Hong, and we had a wonderful and comfortable three-day, two-night stay! Even the kids could feel Sister Hong's friendliness and played hide-and-seek with her. The guesthouse auntie was very diligent, always cleaning and busy, so the guesthouse was very clean and tidy. Her cooking was also excellent; we always finished our breakfasts! The location is very convenient; it's truly convenient to go anywhere! This time, we experienced bamboo shoot digging, enjoyed the guesthouse's camping afternoon tea, and had a variety of activities. The Angela rose pergola was in full bloom, and the air was filled with a delicate fragrance—it was wonderful and could heal everything! There were also many raspberries near the guesthouse; come and pick some! Mountain life is so beautiful! "The location is prettly good. Only 5 minutes from the famous square at the bottom of the mountain. And 10 minutes away from the glorious hike up the mountain through the bamboo first. We only booked it for a couple of hours to take a shower and get ready for the train. Didn't spend the night."
