"I tried this out last time I had a layover flight in Cebu. I booked it because of the low price not knowing anything about it. I was surprised by the cleanliness of the room. It is a dormitory type accommodation but the rooms and facilities are good. This accommodation is highly recommended for those planning to visit Cebu on a budget."

"Staff were very helpful despite us arriving very early in the morning/ very late at night. We used BMAX Spacepods as our stop over to wait for our next flight the next day. A different and cool experience and extremely reasonably priced. Towels and shower gel provided (my only improvement on amenities would be dental kits, then you wouldn’t need to unpack at all). The space pod itself was surprisingly roomy, effective in-pod air conditioning, and clever lighting and controls. Plugs inside also (but trying to plug something in may wake up other pods as it shook the whole wall pushing it in!). Overall a cool little place for a quick stop over at a very affordable price and not far from the airport."

"I needed a hotel for 10 hours transit between 2 international flights. The sakura capsule hotel is located in terminal 1 (domestic) of Cebu airport, around 3-5 mins walk from the international arrival. The walkway is actually an outdoor parking space between the two terminals and I felt safe walking even though it was 2 in the morning. Check in process was smooth, the staff are friendly and accommodating, there is locker to keep your shoes and luggage, their mattress was super comfortable, enough sockets / usb slots to recharge your devices, shower and toilet are clean with towel , slippers and tooth brush provided. There are also shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner. I rested well all the way till the time to check in for my flight around 11 am (the staff also asked if I need a wake up call which I did not need but still,  cool!). There is also little area for coffee and tea to refresh your morning. I would come back here without hesitation. Thank you!"

"It was pretty clean, but there was no hot water in the shower. There was nothing nearby either. I arrived in the middle of the night and just wanted to sleep, so it wasn't a problem, but it might be dangerous to go out at night. There were a lot of chickens crowing in the morning, which was quite noisy."

"The hotel was right on the road, easy for transportation to look around. The stuff was very nice with us... The room was tidy and clean with a nice view"
