For example, during my stay, the air conditioning provided almost no heat, making the room quite cold at night. You can walk to the hotel from the domestic terminal in just over ten minutes, which is convenient for travelers with only carry-on luggage. There's also a shuttle bus service between the airport hotels, costing AUD 12 for a one-way trip."

"The room facilities were great, and the location was absolutely perfect – just a 5-minute walk to international departures. The hotel front desk staff, however, were quite unfriendly; this might have been due to my English not being very fluent. This hotel is ideal for catching early morning flights. Sydney international departures are incredibly busy in the mornings; I woke up at 6 AM and already saw traffic building up. It took almost half an hour from leaving the hotel to checking in my luggage. After that, I only had enough time to quickly browse duty-free before boarding."

"This hotel is much better than the chain hotels I've stayed at before; it's well-equipped and very thoughtful. They also offer a free shuttle that's incredibly timely – the driver for my ride was such a kind, cheerful old man. Previously, chain hotels near the airport were more expensive than this place, and their shuttle actually cost $20, even though it was only a 10-minute walk. Honestly, if you're visiting Sydney, you can just stay here. It's near the major station Mascot, only two stops from the city center. After visiting twice, I realized there's no need to stay in the city center, especially avoiding 'Oaks Sydney Castlereagh Suites.' That place was run-down, old, expensive, and the Asian front desk staff had a terrible attitude – a real nightmare. For the city center, I highly recommend 'YEHS Hotel Sydney Harbour Suites,' but for value for money, Travelodge Hotel Sydney Airport is still excellent, perhaps even the best."

"The hotel is very close to the airport and offers a shuttle service, getting you there in about 20 minutes. The service is exceptionally thoughtful, and the facilities are comprehensive. If you have an early morning flight, staying at this hotel is a really great choice."

"We stayed in Room 323, just next to gym and pool room. Was worried with noise as We stayed from Wednesday night till Sunday morning check out. My worries were unfounded. Had a pleasant 4 night stay. Living room was spacious and equipped with a clean kitchen and dining table. Washing machine and dryer are separate and hidden behind door. Useful! Bedroom has a king bed, spacious and comfortable. Aircon control in bedroom is separate. Best location of hotel as surrounded with lots of eateries. We highly recommend Malaysian restaurant selling delicious chicken rice and sambal kangkong! Another shop is Into Laksa. Delicious and reasonably priced. Woolsworth supermarket is just a short walk away!! Meriton Mascot is considered an airport hotel as it’s near airport and just 2 stops to city, circular quay stop. I used the super bus shuttle via klook. Convenient hotel drop off and pick up. Only passengers. No need worry uber driver complained too many luggage. Meriton is kind to load long umbrellas on raining days. Just remember to return after each day use and borrow again the following day. Otherwise you may be charged AUD50 for not returning. They do ask your room number."

"I stayed here for one night on my last day in Sydney before heading to the airport, and I absolutely loved it! First off, the bedding and furniture were clean and comfortable, and even though they were a bit old, they felt well-maintained. The room was also relatively spacious and had a Google Chromecast-enabled TV. There are tons of food options less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel, especially a wide variety of Asian food, which was great. There's also a large Woolworths nearby where I bought souvenirs and gifts. What I found most interesting was that initially, I was puzzled by the absence of bottled water in the room. But then I realized there were glass bottles, and you could fill them up with still, cold, or sparkling water from the lobby as much as you wanted. It was a little bit of a hassle, but it was also fun to be able to choose sparkling or cold water to my liking, plus it's environmentally friendly. And two things that were really excellent were the breakfast and the airport shuttle. The breakfast was very delicious and offered a good variety, including an egg station. And the airport shuttle! I booked a room that included the shuttle for two people, so I only had to pay an extra fee for one additional person, and it worked out perfectly. I had an early flight the next morning, and it was a very convenient and satisfying stay. I'd love to stay here again."

"I was in Sydney for a couple of nights for personal matters before flying to the Gold Coast, so I booked this hotel near the airport after a lot of searching. After arriving at T1 International Terminal, I followed the airport signs to the free shuttle bus to T3. From the T3 arrivals hall, it's about a 10-minute walk to the hotel according to the map. It's manageable if you don't have too much luggage, not a big deal. To get back to the airport, it's the same route. On the day I left, it was raining, so I took the hotel's airport shuttle, fearing my luggage would get wet if I walked. It cost $14, which isn't cheap, but a taxi would probably be similar. Facilities: It's an older hotel, so the furniture and appliances are a bit dated. The bathroom has a bathtub, so you need to be careful getting in and out. You have to turn off the lights one by one. They don't provide complimentary bottled water; even the mini-bar water costs money. There's one free carton of milk. If you need a toothbrush and toothpaste, you have to ask the front desk. I always bring my own, so it wasn't an issue for me, but it's something to note if you don't. The room overlooks the airport terminal, and it's not too noisy. Cleanliness: The housekeeping service was excellent and very thorough. They even tidied up my messy data cables and placed them neatly on the desk. The room looked very clean overall, even though the hotel is old. Service: My early morning flight arrived, and by the time I cleared customs and walked to the hotel, it was past 10 am. I couldn't check in yet, but I could store my luggage. The public restrooms in the lobby were also very clean and spacious. I used the restroom to change clothes, quickly freshened up and put on some makeup, then left my luggage and went out to take care of my business. Other: The hotel is near the airport. If you're heading into the city or elsewhere by train, the closest Mascot train station is about a 15-minute walk. It's not super close, but for younger people, this walking distance is acceptable. There are restaurants and a supermarket near the train station. Overall, it's quite convenient to stay here if you have an early morning flight or a short stopover."
