"First off, the location isn't too far from Lucerne train station. We had a Swiss Pass, so we could take the bus for free. We rode one stop, got off, crossed a road, and turned left – super convenient! Many bus routes pass by, and Chapel Bridge is just a walk away. The hotel upgraded us to a deluxe double room, which was much larger. There was plenty of space for luggage, and it didn't feel cramped at all. The room was clean, and they provided two large bottles of water daily, which was enough for our needs. Everything was great, and the only reason I didn't give full marks was the extra tax charged, as others have mentioned. Initially, the front desk staff was polite. When I showed them my booking confirmation, pointing out that the tax on the order differed from what I actually paid, they looked at it for a while, then unhappily replied, 'I don't know.' I ended up contacting Ctrip customer service. They told me they'd contacted the hotel but couldn't negotiate. Finally, Ctrip customer service said they would compensate the difference with points, which arrived quickly – kudos to Ctrip! Many people have brought up this tax issue, and I'm not sure where the problem lies. Other hotels in Switzerland charged exactly what was stated on the booking. Only this hotel charged differently. Although it wasn't a lot of money, it felt a bit uncomfortable. Also, someone mentioned a 100 CHF deposit per day, which they indeed charged. When I checked out, I specifically asked when it would be refunded, and the front desk said the same day, which it was. In Lucerne, there's a Chinese restaurant called No. 8 that serves delicious Chinese food, completely authentic to domestic tastes. The owner is also very nice and polite."

"The hotel room was spotless, and the bed was wonderfully soft and comfortable. I really appreciated the double lock for added security, and my individual capsule felt very private. The soundproofing was pretty decent too. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting me with a smile and providing excellent service all around. The hotel's central location is fantastic; it's just a three-bus-stop ride to the train station, and there's a Coop supermarket right next door. Having a microwave, kettle, and fridge was a huge plus – perfect for instant noodles and pre-made meals. The bathroom was spacious and private, complete with a hairdryer. The self check-in system was available in multiple languages, which was very convenient. All in all, a really great stay!"

"Stayed here during my Switzerland trip and really enjoyed my experience! The location is honestly one of the best; right beside the train station and within walking distance to the lake, old town and many attractions, which made travelling around so convenient. After long day trips, it was nice being able to return to the hotel so easily. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for a pleasant stay. The staff were also friendly and helpful whenever needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great location and hassle-free stay!"

"This hotel is in a super convenient location, right next to Lucerne train station. It's a lifesaver if you're traveling with luggage or by train. There's a Migros right across the street, which is perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, fruit, or daily necessities. It's really quick to stock up before heading back to the hotel in the evening. And there's a McDonald's nearby too, so if you get hungry late at night or just want a quick bite, you don't have to go far. The area around the hotel has fantastic amenities, with lots of restaurants and shops. You can easily walk to Lake Lucerne and all the main attractions, and an evening stroll is really pleasant. With such great transport links and an excellent location, it's highly recommended whether you're traveling independently or visiting Switzerland for the first time. Overall, my stay was very convenient, saving a lot of time on transport and lugging bags around. I'd definitely want to stay here again on my next trip to Lucerne."

"Facilities: Beyond expectations. Each room is named after a place in Switzerland, and the decor varies accordingly. The room was spacious with many windows, offering views of the train station, the bustling market, and snow-capped mountains in the distance. The corner space was very cozy, and the toilet and bathroom were large. Cleanliness: Very clean, with no overlooked spots. There was also a beautiful orchid in the room. Service: The front desk staff were exceptionally gentle and friendly. They proactively and thoughtfully explained how to access water and where to drink it. The mini-bar was free, and upon check-in, we were even given extra bottled mineral water in glass bottles. Environment: The location is incredibly convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the train station, so no worries about carrying heavy luggage. All major city attractions are within walking distance, and the surrounding neighborhood is very pleasant."

"Great hostel that operates with hotel-style services. Just across the road, there's a Coop supermarket and plenty of food options nearby. The room was spacious, and it even had a large balcony with a table and chairs. Towels were changed daily, and the room was cleaned every day. The shower area came with shampoo and other amenities, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was all-you-can-eat and had everything you'd expect. Highly recommended!"

"Honestly one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The staff were just incredible so warm, genuine and kind. The room was spotless and beautiful, with the most gorgeous lake views. And the lake itself is literally just across the street — I went for a swim whenever I felt like it, which was such a treat."

"Self check in is very easy to use with clear indication. The location is good which the bus stop right in front of the hotel. There is air con and fridge the in the room😎 The room is quite spacious and clean. I got problem at 10 pm though no staff stay in hotel, they responsed to it as need. thank you"

"A very nice hotel, right next to the Shui Ta Hua Bridge. It's also not far from the train station, about a 5-7 minute walk. The breakfast was delicious, probably the best I've had in the past two weeks. Although the variety wasn't huge, everything was exquisite."
