"This was my first time in Changxing. I booked the hotel online in advance, and I was quite satisfied with my stay. The receptionist, Leilei, was very helpful and friendly! ๐Ÿ‘ We booked two rooms and she even upgraded them for us. My friend and I had a very pleasant stay. The scenery was beautiful, and the hotel also has a gym and a swimming pool. The pool was quite large and the water was very clean. The hotel's location was also good, next to the government building. We visited the nearby Datang Gongcha Tea Garden and Shuikou Tea Garden. The buffet and breakfast on the first floor of the hotel were excellent and plentiful. They also had afternoon tea โ˜•๏ธ with coffee and desserts, which was very nice. I would definitely come back next time I have the chance."

"Parking is very convenient, both on the ground and underground. The room is clean and tidy, and the breakfast is also good. It may be that they are all my favorites. The service is great. Because baby food needs to be refrigerated, the front desk thoughtfully put it in the hotel refrigerator and also provides midnight snack service. "The room was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and bright. The location is excellent, quite close to the circus and the Animal World. The supermarket on the first floor is also reasonably priced, which was great when we didn't feel like ordering takeout after watching the circus at night. The supermarket really offered good value for money. However, the breakfast restaurant was a bit chaotic. It's probably because there were many children, so it was noisy and messy, with oil stains and dropped sushi all over the floor. On the upside, the variety of breakfast items was impressive, so I'd still recommend it."

"The hotel is in the city, the space and facilities are pretty good, the breakfast is relatively complete, and you can get free coupons for parking. Overall, it is good. One thing needs to be improved, the sanitation is not cleaned carefully, and the fruit left in the drawer by the previous guest has become moldy and has not been cleaned up!"

"The Ancient Town Grand Hotel offers good overall value for money, making it ideal for tourists visiting the scenic area. You can purchase packages that include attraction passes, which are a great deal when combined with activities. The hotel is quite large and sees a lot of guests checking in. The biggest highlight is the underground passage on the second basement level, which leads directly to the Taihu Performance Center across the street. This means you don't have to brave the sun or rain or cross the road. It's incredibly convenient for returning to the hotel after a show, saving you time and effort when heading back after watching fireworks or traditional iron flower performances at night. There are very few takeaway options around the hotel. For meals, I recommend heading directly into the ancient town streets and dining there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast can get very crowded, so it's best to go early."

"The room was spacious and very comfortable. It was quite hot, but the air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast was busy, but the dining area was large enough that there was no queue. There was a good variety of food, though no douhua (tofu pudding) or egg pancakes, but all the essentials were there. The room's balcony overlooked a vast, lush green mountain range. The hotel is very close to the Performing Arts City, just a short walk away. However, it's quite a distance from the zoo and the circus, so you'll need to drive or take a shuttle bus. The shuttle bus costs 5 yuan per person for a one-way trip, and you might have to queue for the return journey. Driving is more convenient, costing 20 yuan per trip. In the evenings, there's a long street of food stalls right outside the hotel, stretching as far as the eye can see, which is very convenient."

"It was a rather average experience... I've always had a good impression of the Wyndham brand, especially since I chose the Wyndham Grand this time. Simply put, it lacked the service, awareness, and demeanor expected of a Wyndham Grand. The hotel was fully booked during the May Day holiday, and there was no hot water... There were no contingency plans, and no effective measures to soothe guests' anxieties... The refrigerator in the hotel room was broken... What would happen if someone needed insulin or insurance? I'm not being picky, but because it's positioned as a Wyndham Grand, not a Wyndham Garden, I'm mentioning these points. I hope they can improve. The fried noodles at the hotel breakfast were good, so I'll mention the positive aspects."

The bathroom tile grout was completely clean, the toilet seat was sparkling, and the sink faucet was free of limescale. Moving in felt like moving into a brand new roomโ€”so reassuring!"
