"The service was truly excellent. Since we had a child with us, they went out of their way to accommodate us by pushing the beds together. We also received a fruit platter, and a butler was available for communication at all times. Getting around was very convenient. The front desk staff were always smiling, making you feel genuinely welcomed. It definitely competes with other international hotel brands. I'll stay here again next time, and I hope the hotel continues to maintain this high level of service."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right across from Wanda Plaza, where you can shop and dine. I stay here every time I'm on a business trip because it's also close to my client's office. The rooms are spacious and clean, and it's very convenient with a balcony, kitchen, and refrigerator. The front desk staff are great and always resolve any issues promptly."

"I only booked a twin room, but the front desk upgraded us for free to a room with a bathtub. It was perfect for my child to have a warm bath after swimming. They also provided some snacks and several bottles of water, and even had bathtub liners available, which was really nice. It's great to play in the hotel's water facilities when it's hot; my child absolutely loved it. I passed by the gym a few times, but didn't have time to try it out, though it looked like a very good facility. We drove around Songshan Lake a bit, but it was too hot, so we only walked around the Neutron Garden, just seeing the rest from the car. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for ordering food delivery and such. They also gave us an extra set of tickets for the kids' club. The venue looked good, but unfortunately, it was too hot, and my child still preferred playing in the water. It would have been even better if they had a tumble dryer for laundry."

"To celebrate Children's Day for my daughter, who loves swimming, we chose the Intercontinental Hotel and booked an Executive Floor room. Even before we arrived, I received a proactive call from Irene at the CLUB, who understood our needs and arranged a king-size bed, ensuring we had a comfortable and wonderful night's sleep. During afternoon tea and the tipsy evening happy hour, the lounge offered a limited but exquisite dinner selection. Steven and Maggie provided warm, attentive service with constant smiles, always ready to assist us. All three meals were enjoyed in the Executive Lounge, where the quiet environment was incredibly relaxing and pleasant. When I returned to pick up my luggage after check-out, I met Leo, who also proactively asked about our experience. Although they work in shifts, they all demonstrated consistently excellent and professional service, truly representing the Intercontinental brand well. I'm confident that on our next visit to Dongguan, we will definitely choose the Intercontinental Hotel again."

"The hotel has an excellent location with plenty of dining options nearby. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, and the service is very attentive. The customizable noodle soup for breakfast was delicious. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a robot delivery service for takeout. While the staff will bring it up, it can be a bit inconvenient, and sometimes you feel bad bothering them too much."

"We were greeted friendly by Ramada receptionist. While living in the hotel, my colleague suspected his money was stolen and we were assisted by the receptions and manager in an efficient way. Police arrive at the hotel shortly after the report. At the end, his money was found in his luggage and I am very grateful that the hotel manager were able to help us."

"The environment is quiet and serene, with a subtle Chinese garden style. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped (it would be even better if they provided two pairs of slippers for showering). Kids enjoyed playing in the water, while adults worked out and hiked. The service was a bit lacking, though. The service robot was slow to respond, and we had to chase down staff multiple times for assistance, likely due to understaffing. During the May Day holiday, check-in was really slow; we didn't get our room key until after 6:30 PM. Thankfully, the manager was flexible and arranged for the kids to go swimming first, and even gave us some drink vouchers (for a Coke, Sprite, or instant coffee) for those who weren't swimming."

"I didn’t expect too much from this trip since it was mainly for business, but I ended up being really satisfied with my stay here. The hotel room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The amenities were great too, with a swimming pool, a spacious gym with good equipment, and even a basketball court, which was a nice surprise. The location was also very convenient, with plenty of food options nearby. What impressed me the most was the service. The housekeeping lady cleaned my room every day and was always very hardworking. The front desk ladies were friendly and attentive, and there was always someone available to help. Whenever I had a request, they handled it very quickly. I was well taken care of by several staff members. I remember one of them was named 小竹, though I unfortunately can’t remember the others’ names. One of the night shift ladies even recommended a nearby barbecue place, which turned out to be really nice. Overall, this short stay left me with a very good impression, and I would be happy to stay here again!"

The hotel's facilities have been upgraded after the renovation, and the lobby features a large 'fish tank' with many beautiful koi. The room is spacious enough, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathtub comes with a disposable liner, while the toilet is equipped with a disposable seat cover. All requests were promptly addressed, showing excellent service awareness. The gym is well-equipped, the pool is large, and the shower area is clean and includes a sauna. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Dongguan!"
