Lobby and lounge area is used by other building visitors, delivery boys with obvious security lax. Not conducive as a hotel for vacationers. GGuest UserCheck in and check out went smoothly as long as you can converse in Chinese, I used Google Translate and it worked well. We were in a king room and it was quite spacious, there was sufficient room to keep our toiletries by the sink and our luggage. We had a sofa, table and small chair in our room. There is a smart toilet with a heated seat. The shower pressure is really good. There is one English speaking channel. I liked that there was no carpet in the room but laminated floors. A real bonus was free laundry and they had 5 washers and dryers on the 12th floor. The hotel is within walking distance to MixC mall which is very modern and there were many eateries in the mall. Another bonus is the Songshanbei intercity railway station which is about 200m from the hotel. You can buy a ticket very cheaply and ride to Guangzhou South railway station but it is really slow, it took about 1 hour. If you are unlucky you could be standing but if you leave around 10ish you should be able to get a seat. They offer breakfast for a fee which we did not partake in. Within walking distance there is a Starbucks and McDonald’s inside the mall. I would recommend this hotel to others because of the many eateries, intercity railway station, laundry facilities and cleanliness.i

TTianyawangziThe hotel service was excellent, and they even had supper waiting for us at night. The room was large and spacious, and very clean. There are entertainment venues nearby like KTV, billiards rooms, and card rooms, which makes it convenient for friends to get together.

SSang TuanLocation: 5/5 – Absolutely Strategic! The biggest strength of this hotel is its unbeatable location. You’re steps away from McDonald's and Luckin Coffee for quick bites and caffeine. A well-stocked mall is right beside the hotel, making it super easy to grab daily necessities. The best part? A lively night market is directly opposite the hotel! This makes finding delicious, affordable local food incredibly convenient any time of the evening. The whole area is very 热闹 (rènào - bustling/energetic) – perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action. Cleanliness: 3/5 – Okay for the Price, Manage Expectations The general cleanliness is acceptable, if you adjust your expectations. It's definitely not a 5-star luxury experience, but for a budget/mid-range stay, it's passable and reasonably maintained. Don't expect immaculate perfection, but the basics are covered. Room & Atmosphere: 2/5 – Persistent Smoke Smell The major downside, especially in the rooms and hallways, is a strong and pervasive smoke smell. It's quite noticeable and doesn't dissipate easily. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in many hotels within the region, but it's definitely present and unpleasant here if you're sensitive to it. Breakfast: 1/5 – Strongly Not Recommended / Unhygienic Avoid the breakfast option. Hygiene standards here are very poor. I personally observed small cockroaches crawling on the tables in the breakfast area. This is completely unacceptable and a major health red flag. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely. Thankfully, with McDonald's, Luckin, the mall food court, and the fantastic night market opposite, you have plenty of much better (and cleaner) alternatives nearby. Overall: This hotel is all about the location, location, location. If being in a super convenient, vibrant area with easy access to food, coffee, and shopping is your top priority, and you're on a budget, it serves that purpose. The cleanliness is tolerable for the category. However, the strong smoke smell in the rooms and corridors is a significant drawback, and the breakfast is dangerously unhygienic (cockroach sighting confirmed). Choose this hotel for the prime spot if you can tolerate the smoke and definitely plan to eat breakfast elsewhere. Who should stay: Budget-conscious travelers prioritizing an unbeatable, lively location who aren't sensitive to smoke smells and will skip the hotel breakfast. Who should avoid: Families with young children, travelers sensitive to smoke, those prioritizing high cleanliness standards, or anyone planning to eat the hotel breakfast.

GGuest UserI've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and I'm always satisfied. The transportation and parking are convenient. Although the hotel facilities are a bit older, they are very well-maintained and managed, and the staff provides excellent service. Even though it was my child's first time staying here, they said the hotel was great when we left and that we could choose this place again next time we visit Dongguan.

GGuest UserThe location is super convenient, right next to the subway station. It's also close to shopping malls like Guomao and Vanke, so it's great for shopping. The service was warm and attentive; the front desk staff was very responsive to all our requests. I highly recommend it for your 51 (May Day) holiday trip!

GGuest UserThe overall feeling is pretty good. The room is large and has a bathtub. It's cold and it's very comfortable to take a bath. The room is also heated and the bed is very soft. The hotel staff are very kind and polite. When they came to help me clean up the trash, they saw There was a pile of clothes on the sofa. I asked if I wanted to wash them. They could help me take them to the laundry room to wash them. The service was very considerate. When I checked out, the front desk saw that I hadn’t had breakfast yet and gave me a breakfast coupon to let me go. Have breakfast. Although I didn’t go to [呲ya] in a hurry, the service in this hotel is really good. I recommend everyone to try it.

CChaojiwangxiaohuiI rarely write long reviews, but my two-night stay during the ***** New Year holiday was absolutely delightful and exceeded my expectations – excellent! The hardware is superb because their room design is truly unique: no wardrobe, and the sink/vanity area is separate, located outside the main toilet and shower area. The software (service) is also excellent: we were sitting in the lobby on the third floor, enjoying a coffee, when the two on-duty staff members (one male, one female) promptly helped resolve an issue with the coffee machine – commendable! On the second and third days, we went down one floor to the restaurant for breakfast. It was a comfortable experience, and the coffee there was even better than in the lobby. I personally loved their beef congee, and the pickled vegetable side dishes were great. On the second day, I also tried a burrito, which was delicious. You could really feel the dedication of the restaurant staff. If I ever have the chance to visit Humen East again, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel. Upon checking out, I even received a small gift: ”Joy! Peace and Serenity!” My sentiments exactly!

I especially appreciated the daily housekeeping service, which kept the room clean and fresh throughout my visit. The room itself was quite spacious, even though I booked one of the more budget-friendly options, which was a pleasant surprise. One area that could be improved is the lighting control in the room. There is no central switch to dim or turn off the lights, so I had to walk around the room to switch off different lights before going to sleep. Additionally, the bathroom layout separates the toilet from the shower area, requiring a few steps to move between them. The hotel provides clothes washing services but it’s chargeable and the price is on high side. One piece of normal ladies pant cost RMB50, male pant cost RMB45. If you give the clothes the housekeeping staff before 11am, they will send the clothes back to your room within the same day. Pullman Hotel also offers several in-house dining options, including Chinese and Japanese-style restaurants within the premises, which made dining very convenient. If you order food delivery , they have the robot machine to send your food to the room, just make sure you indicated the room number clearly. The lift required a room card to access hence the dispatcher will not be able to send the food to your room. Hotel staff is helpful, I requested them to collect the parcel on my behalf from the locker located at basement and they acting it very fast. Keeping them for me even though the check in date was a week later. Overall, it was still a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Pullma.

The bathroom was meticulously cleaned, and new slippers were provided in the room, so I didn't have to go barefoot when showering, which was great! The toilet was new and very clean, showing great attention to detail. The sofa was stylish and had a nice texture, making it very comfortable to sit on. The view outside the window was fantastic and expansive. It was quiet and pleasant to stay in, very satisfied.
