"Second time staying here. This time, I was lucky enough to have a room with a view of Mount Fuji. The hotel isn't far from the JR station, about a ten-minute walk, so it's very convenient for going out to eat. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, and the breakfast is plentiful. The hotel service is also excellent. It's definitely worth staying here."

"Pros: Room: Good size for two people, not cramped, with enough space to open luggage. Very clean. Location: Short walk from the station. Amenities: Great water pressure in the bathroom and the AC worked well. They have every thing you might need included pajamas. Cons / Things to note: Station Access: To get to the other side of the station, you have to walk around the tracks via a detour path; you cannot cross through the platforms, unless you pay. Bathroom: A bit tight if you have a larger build. Hairdryer: It’s a wall-mounted type in the bathroom, and the wind is pretty weak. Overall: I was totally fine with everything here and had a good stay!"

"The hotel's location is very convenient. Coming out of the north exit of Numazu Station, you'll see the BiVi shopping center, and the hotel is right behind it. The front desk is on the second floor, and they have Chinese-speaking staff who are warm and attentive. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and a Lawson convenience store downstairs. The room is considered large for a Japanese hotel; you can open two 26-inch suitcases simultaneously. The room also thoughtfully includes a massage chair, and on a clear day, you can see the tip of Mount Fuji from the window."

"Perfect location to stop for a few days in Numazu en route to Izu or other nearby attractions. Literally next to the train station and easy walk to restaurants and shops. Hotel has a public bath, laundry room, neat breakfast common area. Room amenities are complete and windows open so you can get some fresh air. Will stay again next time!"

"My son and I stayed at the hotel for two nights. We chose that hotel because we wanted to visit Numazu Deep Sea Aquarium due to my son interest to marine life, so it was the best option. Numazu is a small, quite city with a sea port in there. We really enjoyed walking in the city, besides the seafood was fresh and delicious."

"As a family of 3 (all adults), the space was quite limited. Even though each of us only brought 1 mid size luggage. But, right in front of the hotel, is the high-way bus stop. Which was very convenient when we got back from Gotemba! If you walk a bit, there are also some restaurant and a supermarket too for your midnight snack / cravings. It’s a bit of a shame that we can only see the mt. Fuji for 1 day (among our 3 days stay)."

"Great location! Lots of food around and a great matcha cafe nearby. There is also public transportation really close as well. The hotel itself is very clean and staff were so friendly. Room is spacious compared to a lot of other Japanese hotels. Price is very good for what it’s worth. Everything is very modern as well, I think they just renovated not too long ago. From my window can also see Mt Fuji."

"I stayed at Awashima Hotel, located on an island, after arriving at Narita Airport on 17th Nov 25. The transfer took about three hours, but the journey was absolutely worth it. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and offered breathtaking views of Mount Fuji and the ocean. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout my stay, with special thanks to the female manager who went above and beyond to provide additional support (e.g. taxi booking to Numazu Metro station). Although dinner service could have been extended to guests without reservations, the overall experience was excellent. My three days and two nights felt far too short, and I would highly recommend Awashima Hotel to travelers seeking a relaxing and welcoming stay in Japan."
