"It was great to be able to choose from a wide variety of rental yukata. The night view from the Japanese-style room was beautiful. The breakfast was a buffet style with a rich selection, including Tajima beef, and everything was delicious 😋. For the price, getting breakfast, hot spring hopping tickets, and wearing a yukata was really reasonable and a great value. I'd love to stay again."

"Great location within walking distance to jr train station. Friendly reception although do not speak much English. Great healthy bento set for breakfast available for jpy700. Clean, efficient and simple hotel. Daily offer of free snacks or drinks. Washing machine and dryer available downstairs next to reception. Microwave is available for use too."

"This riverside hotel offers ample parking. The rooms are very spacious, and the lobby provides complimentary coffee and alcoholic beverages. There are both indoor and outdoor hot springs, with a full range of bathing amenities. The buffet breakfast and dinner offer a wide variety of options, and the dinner, especially the seafood, was of a slightly higher quality, though the breakfast felt a bit perfunctory. Guests can enjoy free access to the Kinosaki public bathhouse, and the hotel provides complimentary baskets, yukata robes, wooden clogs, and umbrellas. The service was warm and attentive; I was very satisfied."

"Excellent location, close to the station, if you go to the city of saki hot springs, you will have to take the train. The room is comfortable and there is free drinks and coffee downstairs. There is also a free bath on the 2nd floor to soak in."

"Hotel with a beautiful view, right by the Kannabe ski slopes. We visited during a period of abundant snow, and the weather was refreshingly cool. The hotel offers complimentary tea, coffee, ice, and instant miso soup."

"Location was walkable, but just far enough to be an ordeal in the snow. It's close to the Aisly mall for a quick good run and lots of restaurant options along the way. When I tried to check in at the front desk, the older front staff didn't believe that I was at the right hotel and kept doubting me. While he was polite about it, it was irritating after a 3 hr train ride and rough hike through the snowy slush. It appears someone had marked me as already checked in and I had to prove my identity & booking number. While the staff apologized for the mistake, it didn't feel great Points for a great view from my room though"

"A good ryokan. The room was large and comfortable, and the staff were polite. Even though the hotel is very old (you can feel it in places), it's very clean and cozy. The koi on the terrace are a bit of a mixed bag: The koi are beautiful, but they look scared and have very little space. I didn't get any aesthetic pleasure from them – I was more worried. Pros: - Amazing service - Very atmospheric room - Fantastic kaiseki dinner - Good breakfast - A pass is provided for all local onsens (you'll need to pay a symbolic 400 yen per visit to the onsens, but there are no restrictions on how many onsens you can visit, and you can even visit them for a couple of hours after check-out). Cons: - No smoking in the room or on the room's terrace (this is probably because their Gonzaemon hotel, where you *could* smoke, burned down nearby). - The air conditioner only heats the main room; the other rooms (hallway, bathroom, toilet) are very cold. - The hot tub is very small (it's photographed in a way that makes it look bigger). - The convenience store (combini) is very far away. - There are shared hot springs and a private bath in the adjacent building (you need to book in advance, and the last entry is at 11 PM). - The yukatas are rather simple compared to other local ryokans."

"We booked triple room for two of us. The room very big even for three person also can fit very well and feel very spacey. The receptionist can communicate in English and he’s very kind person. Location also very good right in front Lawson."

"What a fantastic ryokan! We spent a long time choosing where to stay in Kinosaki – my husband and I both have a lot of large tattoos, so Kinosaki was the perfect onsen village option for us, as all the onsens here are tattoo-friendly, even if you have very large and numerous tattoos. In the end, we decided to stay at Yuraku and were absolutely delighted! The hotel is located a short distance from the station and the main street (literally a 5-minute walk), which was a huge plus for us – it’s secluded, surrounded by a beautiful forest, quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself is beyond praise: it’s beautiful inside, the rooms are incredible, and the window offers a stunning view of a small pond with a waterfall and the forest. The kaiseki restaurant exceeded all expectations – incredibly delicious and very filling; we practically crawled out of the restaurant. You can choose several convenient dinner and breakfast time slots. The staff is very polite, friendly, and pleasant. A special bonus are the onsens within the hotel itself; After we'd explored all the public onsen (you'll be given a special card upon check-in that gives you free entry to any public onsen in Kinosaki), we decided to check out the onsen at the ryokan itself. You can book a private one for free, but we went ahead and checked out the public ones. There wasn't a single person in either the men's or women's onsen. The women's section has a stunning outdoor plunge pool under a canopy amid a bamboo grove—it's truly something! Plus, as a bonus, you can book a free hot tub for two when you check in. You can choose between a flower-infused or fruit-infused bath. Absolutely fantastic! Honestly, it was one of the highlights of our entire trip, and we highly recommend this ryokan!"

"The location is convenient, with parking available, though not directly near the hotel. It's very close to the main street. The hotel is a bit dated, but it offers a unique perspective on the Japanese-style atmosphere. The hotel employs many Nepalese domestic workers, which facilitates English communication, but this also diminishes the Japanese atmosphere. The food is just okay."
