"We had an excellent family stay with our two children in the executive suite on the 8th floor, with an absolutely magnificent view of Valletta. The accommodation is perfectly laid out, with two separate rooms, which allows everyone to have their own space and ensures peace and privacy. The beds are very comfortable, the size of the studio is ideal for a family, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped, which makes the stay even more pleasant and convenient. We also really appreciated the daily service: staff came by to change towels, make the beds, and empty the bins, a real bonus that adds extra comfort. The pool on the 11th floor offers a splendid view, even though the water was still a bit cool in April. Fortunately, the heated pool on level -2 is just as pleasant and allows you to enjoy it fully, no matter the weather. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it by canceling our originally planned Airbnb. A big thank you again to the management for their understanding and flexibility!"

The Hotel is conveniently located to Valletta and offers both comfort and convenience for visitors to the island in varied accommodation comprising Standard Rooms, Family Rooms, Superior Rooms, Seaview Rooms and Apartments.
"- The hotel is very good for the price offer. The rooms are nice and clean, they serve breakfast and cleaning service everyday; the staff is very friendly and respectful, we felt very welcomed. - The breakfast is the same evryday but i would say its pretty complete and even had cakes and croissants - Mohhamed was so nice to us and gave all the good tips - We were very closer to the center, about 15-20 mins from the centre in Valletta by bus and all the other points are far away either way but we have acess to the bus routes, so its easy and effortless to get to where you want. Just be patient to take around an hour in a bus to reach to st peters pool or riviera beach (best beach in malta, for us) for example - The only point I would say it needs to improve is the shower."

"Review: 115 The Strand Hotel by NEU Collective Stayed: May 16–19 The location of the hotel is excellent — very convenient for getting around, and check-in was smooth. We stayed in Room 609, which was a standard room, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The room felt very small and the decor was dull and depressing. The bathroom was extremely tiny — even for two petite women, it was uncomfortable. Sitting on the toilet, your knees almost touch the sink, and the shower space is so tight you can barely turn around. The hallway had a musty smell, possibly from water leakage. Overall, the room experience was not pleasant. The lobby staff were not very helpful. They didn’t tell us about the facilities on the 8th floor — there’s a small sauna, jacuzzi, and a tiny indoor pool. If I had known earlier, I would’ve taken advantage and enjoyed some time there despite the limited size. That said, the rest of the hotel facilities were much better. The rooftop restaurant was a highlight — the food was delicious and the views were beautiful and uplifting, especially during breakfast. A big bonus was access to the outdoor pool at Aqualuna Malta just across the street. I spent two lovely days there enjoying the ocean view with a bottle of Prosecco — very relaxing. Overall, I would consider staying here again, but only if I can book a better room. The location and facilities are great — just be aware of the room quality and ask about all the amenities upfron!"

"This is my 3rd time at Bayview Hotel and I'm glad I returned again as it's ideally located, budget-friendly, rooms are big, wifi is strong, ample secured parking, reception staff is helpful and friendly, while maid service is efficient. Their breakfast though quite good, could have been improved by way of service. I realised that this time, their staff isn't as attentive as they used to be. I have a knee injury and currently using a cane. One morning during breakfast, I politely asked a service lady to kindly provide me some napkins plus forks and knives as the table was bare. Usually they set up the tables for the next guests. She merely said ”There are provisions at the buffet. You can get it yourself.” Not a very courteous way to treat a guest! In addition, it is completely annoying to be asked during meals every 5-10min by the staff if they can takeaway already something from the table. Once, a lady staff almost tookaway my sister's plate even before she was done eating. They must be trained that it is disrespectful to incessantly approach the guests so very often! We must be allowed to eat in silence, enjoy our meal without intrusion!"

"The lock on my door didn’t work, i had to contact reception THREE times, on the third occasion I was actually laughed at. I have raised my concerns with the property along with the mess left after they eventually did fix it (sawdust and debris all over inside and outside the room.. even in the bathroom???) The sofa in the room (5015) was heavily stained. Good points; Amenities were spot on Location fantastic The best view from the gym Pool area was immaculate The balcony albeit noisy because of the location is a bonus Housekeeping went out of their way to greet you and were really friendly But I would not stay here again, after being laughed at when I had reiterated the point I was a lone female and didn’t feel safe that my door didn’t lock (it took them 3 visits to reception and 2 days to fix)"
