"We enjoyed our stay at Iconic Regency Service Residence. The place is very clean, and the front desk staff were very polite and responded quickly to all our enquiries. The room service cleaners were also polite and well-trained. The gym and swimming pool on Level 42 have great views, and my kids had a lot of fun at the swimming pool. The only feedback is that the car park design may not be very convenient, as there are many circular turns and some areas are quite narrow, especially for bigger cars. It really tests the driver’s driving skills. Overall, everything was good. If there is no traffic jam, it takes less than 30 minutes to drive to George Town."

"Overall, it's pretty good for the price. It has everything you need, though the AC wasn't super cold. But seriously, for this price, it's excellent! It's near the bus stop, making sightseeing easy, and there's no problem finding food around. There was a small water leak, but it was fine and comfortable."

"Loved my accommodation in Penang 🫶🏻 It offers multiple room options (studio and 1-3 bedrooms). Since I got the 3-bedroom but ended up going solo, I chose to sleep in different rooms every night for funsies 😆 The place is far from the attractions (30 min drive to Georgetown) but only 12 minutes away from the airport which came in handy when I couldn’t book a grab for my departure flight. Thankfully I arrived to the airport with a few minutes to spare 😮💨 I appreciated the bespoke towels and toiletries. The water filtration system was also wonderful. You can have cold, hot, and ambient temperature water. The kitchen has the necessary equipment for cooking (no condiments or cooking ingredients which is understandable) but I only used the fridge and microwave. The primary bedroom is spacious and has an en suite. The middle room is the smallest but still has a queen sized bed (the other bedrooms have a king bed). The internet connection is fast but the third room has spotty wifi sometimes. Water pressure is good. Enjoyed hot showers at night. They also provide hair dryer. While exploring the amenities I found the iron and board at the 13th floor (there’s also vending machines). The room has a washing machine but I didn’t use it. I felt safe and secure throughout my stay. The room has an electronic door knob so you only need the code to get in but a keycard is necessary to use the elevator and access the amenities (I was given 2 during the check in). When I go back to Penang, I will choose this place again (maybe a smaller room this time if it’s another solo trip)."

"The hotel was good but it was a bit outdated for sure. It has the vintage kinda vibe and it's located in a very quiet neighborhood. But there's a snooker and other games to play around down the lobby so it can get a bit noisy but bearable. Overall it was actually a kinda good and peaceful stay. The amenities provided were okay but the stove is old fashioned so it needs to be careful when using"
