Cheap Hotels in Chanthaburi City

"The room smelled good, just as described. The air conditioning was cold, and the bed was huge and super comfortable. However, the morning sun shone directly into the room, making it easy to wake up. We got a room next to the stairs on the fourth floor, and there was an unpleasant smell outside, but the room we booked for my mother didn't have that issue. Overall, it was good. The breakfast didn't have many options but was delicious and high quality. The Thai food was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. The accommodation is located right by the road, easy to find, and has plenty of parking."

"The room was very clean. The location is in the city center, close to Central Chanthaburi and the Catholic Church, which is very convenient. The staff were welcoming and provided excellent service. The parking lot is a bit small, but surprisingly sufficient. Breakfast service is available. The swimming pool is a bit small and shallow, probably more suitable for families with young children. The pool hours are 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM, which is considered a late opening and early closing. The kids took over the pool first, so I missed out on swimming."

"Very clean and good location. The staff is so nice. No elevator."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel provides a relaxing atmosphere and offers a good level of convenience for travelers who are looking for a simple but comfortable place to stay. From check-in to check-out, everything was quite smooth, and the environment of the hotel felt calm and welcoming. One of the things I appreciated most during my stay was the overall comfort of the room. The room was clean, tidy, and well organized. The bed was comfortable, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day of traveling or sightseeing. The design of the room was simple but functional, and the space was used efficiently. It felt like a cozy place to relax and unwind. The hotel facilities were also easy to use, and everything felt convenient for guests. The staff were polite and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. Whenever I had questions, the staff were willing to assist, and they created a friendly and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel. One small downside, however, is that there is no refrigerator in the room. For some travelers, especially those who like to store drinks, fruit, or small snacks, having a refrigerator in the room would definitely make the stay more convenient. At first, I felt a little disappointed about this. However, the hotel does offer an alternative solution. Guests are able to leave items at the lobby if they need to store something in a cooler space, which is a thoughtful service provided by the staff. While it is not quite the same as having a refrigerator in the room, it is still helpful and shows that the hotel is trying to accommodate guests’ needs. Another aspect that stood out to me was the toiletries provided in the bathroom. The hotel supplies soap and shampoo for guests, which is very convenient. However, the scent of the soap and shampoo is quite unique. They have a banana fragrance, which may not be everyone’s preference. Personally, I did not enjoy the scent very much because it was stronger than what I usually like. That said, I understand that this fragrance seems to be a signature scent of the hotel, and it may be part of their identity or branding. Some guests might actually find it interesting or memorable. Even though the banana scent was not my personal favorite, it did not significantly affect my overall experience at the hotel. Everything else about the stay was comfortable and convenient. The room was pleasant, the environment was relaxing, and the service from the staff was friendly and professional. Overall, this hotel offers a comfortable stay with a welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. While it would be even better if there were refrigerators in the rooms, the lobby storage service helps make up for it. The banana-scented toiletries may not appeal to everyone, but they do give the hotel a distinctive character. For travelers who value comfort and convenience, this hotel is still a good option for a relaxing stay."

"Air con is good in the hot weather. Hotel is clean, but there are only 3 cloth hangers, which are not enough for 2 people and no place to place used clothes. Good location, not far from market."

"Maneechan Resort Chanthaburi A Thai-style accommodation that has won numerous awards. And the breakfast here is absolutely amazing! 😋 Let's start with the Deluxe Room at Maneechan Resort. The room is spacious and airy, with a large, comfortable bed. There's a cozy sofa corner inside the room and a private balcony perfect for relaxing and enjoying the green garden views around the resort. "The room wasn't very spacious and didn't have a fridge. I could clearly hear the guests in the next room, but surprisingly, I didn't hear any street noise despite the hotel being right by the road. The breakfast was delicious."

"Really amazing hotel, the hotel is very simple with 8 rooms on each floor, 24 rooms in total. The hotel is quite far from main road or the turning in road. Cleanliness 5/5 very very clean Service 5/5 this is highly depends on individual and language barrier , but the receptionist is more than helpful at all times Facilities 5/5 acceptable and adequate facilities for a 3 star, with cold aircond, hot showers and a simple balcony. + Some free titbits in the morning Parking 5/5 plenty of parking is available but it does get crowded in late night"

"A new hotel located just a short distance from downtown Tak — easy to get to and very convenient. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. The room is well-equipped with a work desk, refrigerator, and TV. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable — we even ended up buying two to take home! There’s also a balcony that’s perfect for drying clothes. The swimming pool is spacious, with a separate kids’ pool. The shower and changing area are large, clean, and towels are provided. Breakfast is excellent — they offer local dishes, Western-style options, and Thai favorites. There are fried eggs, sausages, fried rice, porridge, sticky rice with fried pork, soy milk, tea, coffee, and even traditional Thai desserts like tako, khao niew sangkaya, and khao niew na goong. Everything was delicious!"

"The location is excellent, making for a truly relaxing stay. The breakfast selection isn't vast, but it's thoughtfully curated and unique."
