"An absolutely fantastic hotel! Its central location in Saipan makes it super convenient to get everywhere. The hotel boasts its own private white sand beach, a kids' playground, and even a live show. The food selection is quite good too. The ocean view from the balcony, especially at sunset, is breathtaking! Extremely satisfied!"

"Great place with fantastic view. Very helpful with kitchen privileges along with driving us and picking us up, as we didn't have a car. The location is such that you really cannot walk to anything. Beach is 40minutes walk downhill but it is almost empty at all times with very clear water (the far left end is best). The town has very few ok restaurants along with two very good coffee shops that we found. There may be other good restaurants but you would have to ask a local."

"I almost chose the Kensington when I was doing my research online, but then I saw reviews mentioning they have two different price structures for guests from different countries, so I immediately dropped it. I then decided to go for something with good value for money, and I saw many people recommending this place, all praising the owner for being exceptionally kind, so I booked it. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, far from the city center, requiring a car, and it's halfway up a mountain. However, the owner's excellent service makes up for it; they provide shuttle service to and from the city center at fixed times every day, which is truly a lifesaver for those without a car! When I first contacted the owner, they mentioned that airport transfers are free for stays of three nights or more. Since I was only staying two nights, the transfers were supposed to be charged. But after I made my booking, the owner still proactively offered complimentary airport transfers, which was incredibly kind of them! Especially since the flight times to and from Saipan are often inconvenient, either very early in the morning or in the middle of the night, hats off to the owner for their hard work! Pau Pau Beach is just across the road downhill from the hotel, very close. So even when it wasn't during the fixed shuttle times to the city, the owner still drove us there and back, which we really appreciate! Saipan's tap water is incredibly salty and not drinkable. Bottled water is provided on the first day of check-in, but not starting from the second day. However, there's a water dispenser at the front desk where you can fill your own cups. The owner also prepared fresh water for brushing teeth in each room. The owner can help book various tours and activities. We chose the Tinian Island day trip, and the owner helped book the small plane tickets, contacted the local tour operator on Tinian, and even handled airport transfers, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. The owner is from Guangdong, so communication was very easy!"

"I came to Saipan to participate in the Saipan Marathon and stayed here because I wanted to explore the northern part of the island. Since the marathon meeting was early in the morning, I moved accommodations on the day of the run. However, the weather turned bad after that, and I was unable to participate in the activities I had planned. Cindy, who looked after me, felt sorry for me and suggested other ways to enjoy the day. She also continued to help me with transportation around the island and made reservations for me. I'm so grateful for her hospitality!"

"Cleanliness: Fairly average, but there were a few stains on the pillow. Location: About a 17-minute drive from the airport (free pick-up available). Located on a main road within walking distance, it's easy to reach convenience stores, supermarkets, museums, and the beach. Service: All the staff were very friendly. However, when I made an additional taxi reservation, I was told it would cost $40. While I thought that was expensive, when I went to pay, I found out that the reservation itself hadn't been communicated to them and they had to rebook it for $25, which left me feeling a little unsure. Furthermore, the time for my return airport transfer was incorrect, so I had to confirm it multiple times, which was a hassle. Amenities: Toothbrushes, hand soap, etc. were provided (the hand soap pump was broken), and a hair dryer was also available. The shower water was lukewarm, almost cold."

"The room is very clean. The sea view room can really see the sea at a glance. The most important thing is the location is super good. There is a fruit and vegetable supermarket opposite with a lot of fruits and not expensive. McDonald's and a Chinese supermarket are a 100-meter walk away. The second stop of bus No. 1 is opposite the hotel downstairs🚌. The sea is downstairs of the hotel and it is a holy place to watch the sunset. The room is spacious and has a domestic socket strip for plugging in data cables. It is very close to the Crown Hotel and you can go to the Crown to play at any time."

"I met many people in Saipan and they were all kind, but the most fun and kind person was the owner of Saipan Shining Star Hotel! He answered my questions and requests right away, recommended Korean taxis, and told me about good restaurants!! Also, the hotel offers pick-up/drop-off service, and most importantly, the view from the room was so good, and the ocean was right behind me, so I could go see the ocean whenever I wanted!!! Plus, there was a market right next door, so I could buy what I needed right away, and it only took 10 minutes to get to Garapan, so there was no reason not to choose this hotel~ And the interior of the room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom was comfortable! It was an environment that I just wanted to stay in Saipan, so I was sad to go back to Korea!! This is a hotel that I would definitely recommend to my friends if they go to Saipan!!"

"As advertised, this is a two-star hotel with a great location. Check-in was easy and friendly. The room was accurately described and pictured. The room was quiet, but the curtains did not block the sunlight. If the bathroom door is kept closed, the air conditioner cools the room extremely well. Next time, I would bring slippers for the wet bathroom. Parking was difficult because the roads are under construction, but that is not controlled by the owners. There's a common area with a fridge, TV, and water cooler—a pleasant surprise. I would stay here again. It was a great location and very safe."

"An impeccable experience, the top choice for business trips/travel, I'll definitely come again! The staff's service attitude was also exceptional; they always greeted us with a smile, were always willing to help, and we could ask them anything we didn't understand. "I moved here from the city center, and initially, it took a little getting used to. However, after just one night, I found myself loving it. The rooms were a step above other hotels – nicer and more appealing – and the facilities were excellent. The staff were incredibly accommodating, always fulfilling my requests, and all our interactions were very pleasant. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and it's easy to get a taxi or ride-share to the city center. This location was perfect for me as I had a busy schedule packed with activities during the day."
