ROYAL PINES HOTEL CHIBA
9.0 (185 reviews)

ROYAL PINES HOTEL CHIBA ★★★★

📍 1-11-1 Chūō, Chuo Ward, Chiba City

"The hotel interior was spacious and clean. While it was a bit of a walk from Chiba Station, it wasn't too far, and what I liked most was having a convenience store and a supermarket nearby, which made shopping very convenient. The TV had a surprisingly good variety of channels, and I also loved that there was an open park right in front of the hotel."

📍 Shinchiba, 1 Chome−4−1 ウェストリオ 1, Chuo Ward, Chiba City

"I had an overnight layover in Chiba as I was catching a connecting flight from Narita Airport the next day. The hotel's location is super convenient, just a short walk from the station. The service was excellent, and the room was spotless. It only took a few minutes to get to the station even when I was rushing for my morning train."

HOTEL MYSTAYS Soga ★★★

📍 2 Chome-7-13 Minamicho, Chuo Ward, Chiba City

"I used this hotel for a road trip, but there were no parking spaces available. The nearby coin parking lots were expensive, costing around 2000 yen for one night, so I walked 10 minutes to a 500 yen parking lot, which was a negative point. If the affiliated rate is under 1000 yen, the hotel's cleanliness is fine, so I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity to go by train."

KOKO HOTEL Premier Tokyo Bay Makuhari ★★★★

📍 2-7-1 Hibino, Mihama Ward, Chiba City

"I frequently visit Makuhari, and first off, the location is truly excellent. The room was clean and quite spacious, which was convenient as I could comfortably open up my large suitcase. What I liked most was the large public bath on the 14th floor – it was perfect for unwinding after a trip. The complimentary drinks available after bathing were also a thoughtful touch (though the ice cream was a bit disappointing). However, using the elevator was a bit challenging. While the elevator itself was fast, the waiting time was always too long, which was somewhat inconvenient. Overall, I'm satisfied with the location and amenities."

"I was a little bothered by the hair in the bathroom (on the shower curtain). (Maybe I'm being a bit too sensitive...) The front desk staff were very kind, and the location was great, being close to the station, so overall it was a very good experience."

Hotel Sunroute Chiba ★★★
"This hotel is right above a subway station, which is super convenient for getting around. However, for this Kanto trip, several hotels, including this one, used self-service check-in kiosks, which I found a bit inconvenient and lacking a personal touch. Last year, all the hotels in the Kanto region had manual check-ins, which felt much better. The picture is of the Hoki Museum in Chiba, which was also the reason I stayed here for a night."

KOKO HOTEL Premier Tokyo Bay Makuhari ★★★★
"The large public bath was a real treat, allowing for a truly relaxing soak. The generous supply of amenities was very helpful, though a shower cap would have been a nice addition. Being able to take coffee and milk back to the room to prepare and enjoy made for a very leisurely and pleasant experience."

Jr East Hotel Mets Premier Makuhari Toyosuna ★★★
"The hotel location is great, less than a minute from Train station but no noise at all in room. Nearby there are shopping malls and Costco, very convenient. The room is comparative speaking bigger, the toilet and the bathroom are separated. Giving service and amenities 4 stars only because the front desk employees are polite but not very much helpful, maybe due to language limit. However, the breakfast is simple and not very tasty, kind of まづい."
